    He's been mentioned a few times in the past, but now more than ever I'm desperate to get some Preston Sturges into the Canon. I'd really like an episode on The Palm Beach Story because I think it's his funniest movie (plus who could say no to the Wienie King?), but I'd really take any of them at this point.

    Dial M for Murder vs Rope: Hitchcock movies that take place entirely in an apartment (or almost, since Dial M has - if I'm not wrong - one scene with Ray Milland calling Grace Kelly from a party).

     

    You can throw Lifeboat into that mix too

    Hitchcock + Cary Grant in

    Notorious vs North by Northwest

     

     

    or Hitchcock + Jimmy Stewart in

    Rear Window vs. Vertigo
