  1. Is Canada into conspiracy theories? It was shared that this movie was made by Canada.  There were Canadian actors, writers, directors, etc. as well as it being set in Canada and using Canadian reference.  Then you guys went on to do Second Opinions and shared how many of the opinions were 5 star..... I am just curious if Canada also paid Amazon reviewers to post 5 star reviews.

  2. The one thing I still do not understand is why Grace was able to keep blackmailing Ro.  I would think Ro would have done her research.  First yes they killed her father but it was out of self defense.  He was abusing Ro or at least seemed to have a history of it.  Since when the mother attacked and killed the father it was more out of reaction to what was happening and protecting her daughter she committed manslaughter rather than a planned murder.  If it was only manslaughter then the statue of limitations in New York is 5 years, which means Ro and her mother would be immune to Grace's blackmailing before she graduated high school.

  3. You guys talked a lot about how bad of parents both John Travolta and Kristie Alley are a lot.  They don't know if their kids have homework, I'm pretty sure Kristie Alley didn't use car seats when driving her children through the snow, but most importantly they let their kids tell horrible jokes.  At one point in the movie Julie tells a knock knock joke.  It went like this "knock knock" "whose there?" "transsexual".  There are three major problems with this joke.  First it isn't complete.  There is no "Transsexual who?" to follow up and complete the joke.  Secondly, what does this 4 year old know the word transsexual and think its funny to use in a joke?  Do they not monitor what their kids watch or listen to?  Lastly, its a really bad joke.  It makes no sense.  I can put up with them being horrible parents and putting their kids in dangerous situations just for their own selfish reasons but they could at least teach their kids to be funny.

  4. I know the skull face in the hurricane has already been talked about and discussed but I have a new theory about it. What if that skull face is in fact a spirit trapped inside the hurricane. It kills Will and Breeze's dad in the very beginning and we first see the skull face. I think at that moment the old spirit of the hurricane was released and the new spirit, Will and Breeze's dad, has now taken control over the hurricane. This explains why when we jump to the present day storm it never hurts or kills our good guy main characters. It sucks out and only kills the bad guys in the mall scene while keeping Breeze safe. It aids Will in killing people with hubcaps. During the chase scene at the end it helps destroy the other two semi-trucks but not the one our heroes are in. Coincidence or hurricane dad? You decide.

  5. So after learning that Jessica St. Clair is obsessed with soundtracks I felt I needed to share my soundtrack experience with you guys.

When watching the movie I heard this really weird song with lyrics that caught my attention enough to search up the song. The song is Complete by a metal band called Helmet. The song has some very interesting lyrics:

    Ignorance that's absolute

    A happy man is ruthless

    Experience won't change his life

    He works to be approved

    He deserves a happy end

    Asleep is almost painless

His mouth is always clean and right

    He needs his entertainment

    He's a complete

    Feeds twice a day

    Eats through his meat

    He's always okay

    He's a complete

    Eats twice a day

    Can't keep him down

    He's always okay

    He's a complete

    Reads every day

    I never get down

    He's always okay

    Guard the lies

    He's a complete

    Feeds twice a day

    Eats through his meat

    He's always okay

    He's a complete

    Eats twice a day

    Can't keep him down

    He's always okay

    He's a complete

    Reads everyday

    I never get down

    He's always okay

Lyrics talk about how clean his mouth is, how often he eats, how often he reads!? I hope Jessica downloads this.

  6. It seemed the group had a hard time understanding some of the odd lines in this movie as did I but one I think I understood was the joke about the nude lawn mowing wife. So he says his wife used to mow the lawn nude and people would ask if he married her for her money. Lets imagine that either big boobs or small boobs was this wife. If she was out there all the time mowing the lawn naked I am pretty sure the neighborhood would enjoy it. Now if an unattractive woman was doing this people might react differently and not not want to see it. So I believe the joke is obviously about the attractiveness of the wife and could be said as "well you ' marry her for her looks/body so you must have married her for her money"

  7. Okay, so I don't think the baby timeline is all that crazy. Here we go:

Fast Five - Dom and Elena meet. She somehow falls in love with him when he comes to get his cross back from her apartment and puts his fucking sausage fingers over her mouth.

Fast Six - Opens with Dom and Elena in bed together. Sometime here or slightly before is when she got pregnant. The movie takes place over a couple weeks.

Tokyo Drift - Move takes place over...let's say a year and a half (there's no clear indicator, but that would make sense for Han to move over to Tokyo, set up his operation, and train that hillbilly shitlord Lucas Black). The baby is born, and Elena starts back to work. Assuming she's just barely pregnant at the beginning of Fast Six, that would make the baby roughly 9 months old by the end of this movie.

Furious 7 - Takes place immediately after TD. Assuming 3 months of maternity leave, Elena has been back at work for about 6 months at this point, and the baby is still roughly 9 months old. The movie takes place over a matter of weeks. Hell, to be generous, let's call it a month (although I think it's more likely closer to 10 days or so). Baby's age at end of movie: ~10 months

Fate of the Furious - Baby is roughly 10 months old.

    Boom.

And I know people are going to be like, "Why didn't she mention it to Dom in the hospital in 7?"

    Two things:

    1. Hobbs is injured, and he's there to see him

    2. She's still wrestling over whether or not she should even tell him.

(And also, they hadn't come up with the idea of the baby yet)

How does Brian's son Jack fit into all of this?

  8. Correction and Omission:

I know you guys talked about the subway train going 700 mph and how everyone inside the subway train was flying around due to the high speed, but why wasn't Micheal Ironside affected by the speed? I mean his hair wasn't even blowing. Is this part of his immortal powers? Also when they crashed through that brick wall the subway train stopped rather quickly. I am no mathematician or an expert in physics but I would think something as heavy as the train going as fast as it was would have created a lot of force and that the brick wall wouldn't stop it as fast as it did.
