I heard John tell the boat story a few years ago and I still think about that whole standup set he did from time to time. He is an amazing storyteller in that he'll tell these big long stories that span a dozen minutes with little laughs along the way, but then becomes absolutely hysterical when he finishes it off.

Has a guest ever been the first person to sing in their episode's musical? Ashley Ward was such a great guest.

I couldn't tell you anything about Chief's backstory but I feel like she's one of the most larger-than-life characters on this show.

Well I just have to say (this is maple stirrup, by the way) that this episode was absolutely delightful. I think Ghost Mom may in fact be the grossest character ever on this show, and that's saying something.

My god that was just incredible. Nicole has talent for days in both singing AND improvising and she may be the strongest guest yet. And someone needs to build a musical around their rendition of "The Last Part of a Party" ASAP.

This was a fantastic episode but the "Not great, Bob!" reference put it over the top for me.

I was a little worried about how the show would handle EDM for an hour but once it began mentioning LARPing and the Pine Experience, I knew it was going to be great.

That was a heroic performance from Will Hines, especially given the revelation at the end. Also, there's a really good book if you're into learning about Scandinavia, The Almost Nearly Perfect People by Michael Booth. Highly informative and entertaining!
