    Troop Beverly Hills (1989)

Oh you mean the brilliance of Hello Again! I mean she dies choking on a chicken ball and then falls in love with Gabriel Byrne.

    Dr. T & the Women (2000)

I was young and impressionable when I saw this. There was talk that Robert Altman is/was a genius. I just questioned the meaning of the word itself because if that was a work of a genius I didn't get it. Altman has some hits but also some really big misses (Pret A Porter and A Prairie Home Companion to name a few).

    The Last American Virgin (1982)

I was watching Electric Boogaloo: The Wild, Untold Story of Cannon Films (I documentary I highly recommend btw) and I was reminded of this movie. So Porky's was very successful and the brothers that ran Cannon Films had a really successful franchise that was in the vein of Porky's called Lemon Popsicle. Which is a whole bunch of teen boys try to get laid. For the American version they brought the story into the 80's and Los Angeles. The young cast features Steve Antin (aka Troy from the Goonies) Karen Franklin (Better Off Dead) and a really young Kimmy Robertson (Twin Peaks). It's got a lot of the qualities that I think HDTGM is known for. Plus I'm pretty sure there is some nudity as well so Jason will be happy. The soundtrack is full of classics including a U2 song at the worst possible scene. I think this movie is like the unwanted cousin to Fast Times at Ridgemont High.

    Band of the Hand (1986)

Bumping this because someone watched this and thought "yeah I'm going to create a company like this and make money" and that I believe is how Scared Straight was born. Also, you get a super young Lauren Holly and a mega creepy cocaine sniffing James Remar who's also into voodoo of something? Not to mention basically thinking you can take teenage delinquents, put them in the swamp, hope they live...and then they turn out to be the one thing to save the mean streets of Miami from the drug cartels. Yup...when Nancy Regan fails look to the Band of the Hand. I really do think this could be a double-feature with the Legend of Billie Jean.

    Blood Diner (1987)

I think is is an EXCELLENT choice. Jackie Kong is super cool too, she'd definitely talk to Blake Harris about this one.

    Savage Streets (1984)

To this day find so odd is the escalation of events. It's like the rivalry goes zero to 100 in about four scenes. You trash my car...I'm going to kill your best friend. WTH???

Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins (1985)

Like Jake Speed, this is a solid bad movie. Fred Ward Joel Gray Wilford Brimley (Diabeetus) and freaking Kate Mulgrew Pulp Action Hero, dodging bullets, walking on water, a bad guy with a diamond in his tooth (that later is used to save the day), a noted and celebrated actor doing an Asian character...it's all there.

    Rad (1986)

Is there anything more glorious than Aunt Becky in a sequin 80's getup "dancing" a duet with a BMX bike? I think not.

Episode 167 - Chopping Mall: LIVE!

So I'm a fan of the horror podcast Shock Waves (which was preceded by Killer POV). Back in 2014 they had Jim Wynorski on for a pretty long interview. He seems as awful as you can expect. He brings a entourage of big busty women (to a podcast interview) and is across the board super gross. In the first five minutes he tells one of the woman to undress... If you look for it, it's episode 74 and you can fast forward to about 30 minutes to get to the interview.

    High Spirits (1988)

Oh yeah, it was like a creepy vaudevillian theater show that came to life.

    Club Paradise (1986)

I would also give credit to Andrea Martin who is hilarious in this as well as a great turn by Adolph Caesar.

    Jake Speed (1986)

OMG YES!!! My mom loved this movie. I saw it at the $1.00 movie theater when I was a kid. This along with Remo Williams. I think the film creators were trying to turn these pulp characters into movie franchises.

    The Pirate Movie (1982)

If I could pick one terrible movie I love, this is it. I had the damn soundtrack on vinyl.
