Episode 227 - Double Dragon: LIVE!

Foundation jacks like the ones sold at Jack City have been in use for quite some time as a way to level a building before repairing a sagging floor or sinking foundation. In areas like Florida, where sinkholes are prevalent, specialized companies can raise the sinking portions of a building's foundation and inject concrete beneath it to level it. They can also be used by do-it-yourselfers to replace sagging floor joists.
  2. Let me reiterate one more time what I meant in my original post: The wife wants to have sex with her husband, the husband wants to have sex with his wife. The wife, however, is in the daughter's body, so the experience of having sex with his wife would be basically the same as having sex with his daughter. If he takes roofies, he gives his wife what she wants, without having to visually or tactually experience what he doesn't want. It's an absurd suggestion about a fictional situation, meant as satire. It's even more absurd that you guys are taking this seriously, to the point of accusing me of earnestly proposing rape and being a rape apologist.
  3. Well that's convenient, cause I'm not fucking selling it. I gotta say, I'm pretty surprised that fans of a podcast that constantly makes offensive jokes, sometimes about rape, pedophilia, incest, autism, terrorism, physical and sexual abuse etc, don't have a darker sense of humor. My guess is that some, maybe not all, of you aren't genuinely offended, and you're taking this opportunity to either virtue signal or just be an asshole. And for the record, I created my earwolf account long before this episode.
  4. It wasn't intended to be a rape joke, apparently I should have clarified when I replied to Gigi, again, my apologies
  5. Ok guys, ya got me. Well done. I'm sorry what I suggested about a movie where a woman tries to have sex with her husband using their daughter's body was so offensive. It was a joke for shock value, like a pizza cutter, all edge no point. Apparently it wasn't funny to anyone but me. Forgive me
  6. In the episode Jason says, as the point of view of the dad, "babe, of course I wanna have sex with you, but when you go away and Sam comes back, then I will have fucked our daughter." If he roofies himself, he won't have any memory of that experience. Obviously it's all hypothetical, since we're talking about a movie where a mother's consciousness inhabits her daughter's body...
  7. she gets to have sex with her husband, he doesn't have to experience it, it's a win-win!
  8. No, that's pretty much what I meant
  9. At one point, the mother in the daughter's body says something like, "all I wanna do is get laid but I can't, and I'm married!" It's kinda romantic, because she could easily get laid by someone who the daughter was already sleeping with, but she wants it to be her husband. We can all understand why that's a no-go for DD, but I think we're overlooking a solution that would make everyone happy: if ketamine is readily available to the daughter, getting a hold of a roofie and some Viagra should be no problem!
  10. And when he pulls the gun on Lopez, he tells him to "back dat ass up!" Also, I doubt some podunk gas station has EVOO in stock...
  11. Guys, it wasn't an "Indian diner," it was just a diner that happened to be run by an Indian guy.
  12. How "Death Race 2000" hasn't made it onto HDTGM is beyond me. Set in a dystopian future, the most popular form of entertainment is the death race, a cross country race that also serves as government sanctioned population control. As the racers drive, they score points by killing pedestrians along the way. Each pair of racers have a specially modified car that fits their particular theme (two Nazis in a "buzzbomb" carmann ghia, a cowgirl/cowboy in a bull-shaped car with horns, etc). All the while, comically gory deaths ensue. In one scene, staff at a retirement home wheel their patients into the street for what Frankenstein (a part man part machine driver played by David Carradine) refers to a "euthanasia day." His hot headed rival, Machine Gun Joe Viturbo (played by Sly Stallone), makes it his mission to destroy him, and most of his own fans. The movie is produced by Roger Corman, who also produced 414 other horribly corny movies like "Big Bad Mama" and "Slumber Party Massacre." The full movie is currently available for free on YouTube. Do yourself a favor and watch this movie, even if not for the show.

    Gone Fishin' (1997)

I remember loving this movie as a kid, but even then I knew it was bad. As an adult, I'm amazed that two names like Joe Pesci and Danny Glover would sign on to star in it.
