  1. Since Netflix started their "Top 10" list about a month ago, this movie as been on it everyday in Canada. I thought might as well see what the hypes about since we're all on lockdown.

This movie is , dare I say, bonkers.

The whole subplot with "Anne" makes zero scene. Dominic Purcell looks wild. How is Robert De Niro involved in all of this? Clive Owen's pedo stache. And Jason Statham being all Jason Statham. It's terrible. I'd totally rewatch this.

  2. I highly doubt this one will happen based on the length of this movie alone. But which version would they do?

The Theatrical Cut of 175 Minutes

The Director's Cut of 172 Minutes

"Alexander Revisited - The Final Cut" released in 2007 of 220 Minutes. Unnecessary

    Regardless, June would opt out

  3. I was looking forward to watching this, but ended up getting physically violent and frustrated from it. Separately Craig and Weisz are great, so one would assume together they'd be fantastic. Don't assume. Zero payoff for this movie. Would be fun to hear how annoyed the team got watching this.

Fun Fact, Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz started their relationship on set of this movie while playing a married couple

From Wiki: Director Jim Sheridan reportedly clashed with Morgan Creek’s James G. Robinson constantly on the set over the shape of the script and production of the film. According to the Los Angeles Times, Sheridan tried to take his name off the film after being unhappy with it and his relationship with Morgan Creek Productions.

Reportedly, Sheridan, Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz disliked the final cut of the film. The trailer, cut by Morgan Creek Productions, received criticism for revealing the main plot twist of the film.

  4. From the director of Godzilla (1998) and Independence Day 2. This movie was nuts. Saw it when I was in highschool. For some reason the biggest complaint at my school was how the girl has perfect makeup before make up was invented and how everyone's too attractive.

  5. This would be great for the pod. I will admit I did enjoy the first person POV at the end. (shout out Hardcore Henry)

it's hard to think that this is considered The Rock's "skinny phase" but in this, he doesn't seem much bigger than Karl Urban, who is ageless

I'm surprised that this piece of trash hasn't been brought up yet.

It was released around the exact same time as Snow White and the Huntsman and I wonder if that's why they decided to make a lot of the choices they did so that it wouldn't be the same movie.

    None of it worked.

Is it supposed to be a comedy? Is it supposed to be super campy? Why do I try to put reason into it?

I had to suffer through this and that is what I get for letting my roommate pick the title on movie night.

None of it worked for The Huntsman either.

Hope your roommate is making better choices by now.

There was alot of topless Armie Hammer for a PG movie

  7. When I was a kid there was this monthly digest called The Magazine Not For Adults. One month they had contest for anyone that wrote in will be entered to win Gind on DVD. At the time, skateboarding was huge at my school. I thought I'd be so cool being the kid who has the movie. And then I won! I watched the movie once than donated it. I was so disappointed
