  1. Has anyone else noticed Jason frequently misuses the word “nonplussed?” Nonplussed means flabbergasted, perplexed, or baffled. Jason frequently uses it to mean unbothered, unimpressed, nonchalant. It’s a common mistake. Websters recognizes the popular misconception and calls it an “Americanism” that is “widely regarded as an error.” I don’t know Jason personally, but I care about him. His soothing banter has lulled me to sleep every night for years. I feel like someone should pull him aside and discretely tell him. It’s nothing to be ashamed of. I know a guy who says “in lieu of” instead of “in light of.” But he’s a piece of shit so I would never correct him.
