  1. As much as I want Totally Lame to win, I had a really hard time accepting today's judgements. Honestly, I also thought that LHR had the best submission. I really didn't understand the dislike of the sketch. But I loved all the contestants and judges.
Overall, this episode made me feel bad, like Mommy and Daddy are fighting. I don't know if I can bare to listen to next week's.

  3. Besser!,
I love the shit out of you. The UCB show on Comedy Central defined my taste in comedy. It's been a while since I was in a Psych class, but if I remember correctly, we tend to focus more on negative things than positive things. I believe the ratio is 7 positives is equal to 1 negative. Maybe someone can back me up here?
Anyway, fight against human nature and don't let the negativity get to you.

Edit: Maybe Matt's catchphrase in the vein of "What's Up Hotdog?" could be "Hear Ya Later, Wheelhouse!"

  4. "Oh...well...I don't seem to know much about any media. Um...can I ask you, why am I here?"

Every week I become more and more convinced that Howard is unintentionally the funniest person alive. Can't wait for the Summah album.
Also, I couldn't breathe when Howard sent well wishes to London residents during the chart darts theme.

  5. It would be kind of awesome to see a Who Charted shirt with cartoon Kulap making a face mirroring Scott's from the old CDR shirt. Makes me laugh almost every time I see it, even in the mirror.

  6. I'd like to echo the sentiment that judges should be given some prior knowledge about the entrants' podcasts. Context is pretty important in any kind of art. Personally, I wouldn't feel comfortable passing judgement on a project that a person has spent countless time on unless I had a firm grasp of their material.

Also, the guest judges continue to perfectly match the week's challenge. I can't think of two people who I enjoy as interviewers more than Howard and Marc.

  7. I also feel like I should give Left Handed radio props this week. The sketch lost me almost instantly, I wasn't enjoying it, and I felt like I could see where it was going. But the more and more absurd it got, the more and more I had a good time listening to it. A turn around like that is a rare and special thing.
I was assuming that Totally Laime and Little Dum Dums were both going to submit clips of PFT, and I was surprised and delighted to be wrong.
Loved hearing more Wie Wie Kremer!
