I don't know if I could handle listening to a "That Time of the Month" podcast. I've been married 13 years. I try to avoid that as much as possible. If the recording rooms were loaded with chocolate cake and Phish Food ice cream maybe you'd never get around to recording?

Jason is such a vital part for this dynamic. He is more wont to go off on tangents but those are great.

Guys! I totally took Hung Gar Kung Fu in high school in the Seattle international district. That's basically their way of saying china town. I felt like a bad ass. The class was held in a loft above this little Chinese market. We also pronounced it Gung Fu. It was Plum Flower form. Which sounded really not very awesome. It was a combination of tiger and crane styles.
I mean come on, that's way more awesome than learning karate.

I didn't see this was under "catch phrases". I like you now! Good one.

God dammit Besser! I missed Bjork calling in to Eardrop.

on a side note, I think you can donate money to off shore bank accounts totally tax free.

I think TL should pass off a golden condenser mic to the next winner.

I'm about to teach you all a lesson! Then, after you all understand trigonometry, I'm going to host a podcast.

I didn't know Mantzoukas has tourettes?

Argh! Nobody mentioned how the daughter sped up the car, unbuckled the druggie chick, wrapped her convertible around a street sign, and the druggie did NOT get ejected from the car nor did any air bag deploy. And the daughter just brushes herself off and walks away!

Hi. I'm Chase.

The greatest moment of my life was when I shouted "Good One" to the Notarious T.I.G. on stage in salt lake city.

It's no-ta-ro.

First - LOVE the new mediumsodes.
Â
Second - just watched Trespass. Holy hell. I hope a certain scene with a convertable without an AIRBAG!? comes up.
Â
Lastly - according to the Netflix subtitles, there are three different kinds of music on this soundtrack. [incidental music] [suspenseful music] and [intense music].

Brett Gelman is probably to blame for this.

Hey Pants, You make great points. I think what they do "works." Its not one of my favorites, but the guy above me to know it was intentional, not poor podcasting etiquette.

Long live Howser!

This problem happens for me on various podcasts across the board. Not just earwolf. Thankfully, my ability to read has enabled me to find the podcast I want. Then I listen to it.

Welcome to "People Talking Over Each Other Radio!"

I love the podcast truly, but man, podcast ediquette was not enforced in this ep.

That's a Ronna and Beverly thing. Like the Sklars. I think it works.

I keep hanging out at the movies waiting for Scott Aukerman to see me. Am I not at the right theater?

I just started watching Food Network's "Rachael vs. Guy: Celebrity Cook Off" and what contestent walks into the room? Yeah, that's right. It was Taylor Dayne. I told my wife, "Hey, it's Taylor Dayne! I've got to figure out a way to tell Tig." She needed me to explain who Taylor Dayne was and also asked me "what is a Tig?"

The cop on a bike that told the Charlie Sheen joke to Offerman, stole it from Jon Lovitz's roast of Charlie Sheen. I won't be able to sleep until I know Nick knows that guy isn't a funny joke teller either.

Hearing both Sarah and Howard say, "they might be giants" gave me an immediate nerdgasm.

Kyle brought restaurant themed jokes to a whole new level.

I like the live music element a lot. I haven't liked every live song though. But I'd like it to keep happening. As far as killing momentum, I think an argument could be made that it bodes even better for the show to have a performer play live rather than cut to an mp3. I'm probably ill equipped to make that argument.
My son has mono. The worst part about it is that now he can only talk into my left ear.
