    Episode 22 — Never Forget

gasped aloud when i saw this - i've been waiting and hoping for abbi and ilana to turn up on an earwolf show. hope this isn't their last!

    Episode 58 — Critter Sandusky

I started feeling actual nervous feelings leading up to the new chart themes. Just heard the music chart theme and I have the biggest shit-eating grin on my face. This show makes me so happy.
  6. The trope of characters turning to Google for vampire info is a good one - Bella does this in the first movie, as I recall, and there are lots of dramatic closeups on Wikipedia pages and like Geocities websites. A character also does this on an episode The Vampire Diaries, but they use Bing because I'm pretty sure the CW has a deal with them.

Episode 52 — One Year Anniversary!

Happy anniversary, Who Charted! The first episode I listened to was Sarah Silverman's first appearance, when I was listening to every episode of Earwolf shows she'd appeared on, and I've been hooked ever since. The Kulap/Sarah friendship is one of my favorite things in the world. The two of them singing Rilo Kiley together was extremely adorable.

Episode 51 — Death of the Party

I listened to this episode while trying to bake a vegan pumpkin cheesecake. The hilariousness dulled the pain of the cheesecake flopping BIGTIME. Clapped my hands in glee at the news of Kulap being the next guest on Totally Laime - looking forward to it!

Episode 46 — Margaret and Al

Also, you should try to get Carrie Brownstein to guest on Who Charted? Too much success.

Episode 46 — Margaret and Al

Enjoyed Kulap's subtle correction of Howard's pronunciation of Sleater-Kinney
  11. Just want to mention how much I love the Second Opinion segments - great addition.

Episode 123 — No Scoop for You

Wonderful episode! Made my morning to see that Amy is the guest.
  13. @Bucho, I see your point, but the sketch didn't read to me as a comment on comedy convention - rather as a joke about this guy's passion project robot taking so long to come to fruition that his friend doesn't appreciate it once it's done. Just seems like a stretch to call a reference to a five-year-old movie and its quoters "postmodern," and I certainly don't think that should count against them in judging, which I'm afraid it might.

  15. PS - I think it's totally unfair to say that LHR's Borat reference was the same attempt at criticizing poorly-done comedy that, say, Hamm Radio attempted with the "hack stand-up" bit early on in the Challenge. There was NOTHING "post-modern" or "meta" about LHR's sketch. The joke was that it took the guy five years to build the robot, so by the time he was finished the Borat joke was no longer relevant. For god's sake look up those terms if you're going to use them so often and regard them so disdainfully.

  17. I was initially excited by the concept of this challenge, but as many have said, the result was a huge disappointment. This was absolutely not a "challenge of professionalism" as someone else stated earlier - it could have been if the producers had stuck with the challenge idea by telling the podcasts Zach had cancelled. Instead they revealed that it was all a lie before the podcasts produced their content - which makes zero sense to do. This challenge shows us nothing about how these podcasts would deal with a cancelling guest - it shows how comfortable the chat shows are with shitting on the Earwolf Challenge. If this were actually a test of professionalism, there's no way LDDC could get away with shit-talking (humorously) the guest and the competition. Completely useless submission from LDDC in terms of demonstrating their ability to deal with an abrupt change of plans - and it's not their fault, but the Earwolf Challenge's. I'd love for you guys to address why the "lie" was revealed before the submissions were created - as a listener it's baffling. - Left Handed Radio is the clear winner of this challenge in terms of dealing with a cancellation and producing a competent segment in a very limited amount of time. I am a fan of all three of the remaining competitors, but TL's segment was uninspired to say the least and LDDC's completely useless in any context but this insane, mishandled challenge. It's actually infuriating that LHR are most likely being eliminated. I am infuriated by the assumed outcome of this free audio entertainment program. Infuriated! - On a positive note - I do enjoy listening to the Earwolf Challenge and appreciate that this week's presumed outcome made me upset enough to spend the time writing this comment at work, so, thank you, I guess!

    Fanboys

without a doubt the worst movie I have ever seen. Essentially plotless aside from desperate and aggressively unfunny pandering to nerds, a ridiculous and borderline offensive cancer storyline, and I'd say a good 75% of the "jokes" rely on the punchline "gay people are the grossest!!!!" As if there aren't gay Star Wars nerds - please. I watched this out of devotion to Kristen Bell but I like to pretend she was not involved. This movie officially killed my love for Jay Baruchel.
  20. that's the name of this podcast, right?
  21. I've liked what Bob and Dan Cast have offered in the past, but this clip today was pretty annoying - not because of their topic-jumping, but how they both seemed SO amused by every joke they made. One of the guys in particular spoke like he was forcing words through a huge grin about to break into guffaws every single time he talked, and it was grating, because...it wasn't that funny. I like the concept of the F Plus, and honestly I didn't find it difficult to tell what was from the internet vs. riffing. However, it seems too easy/cheap that so much of their content is based on mocking sexual fetishes. Surprised by the weakness of Totally Laime these past two challenges. It seems they kind of stopped trying to put their best submissions forward.
