    Episode 72 — Toys

I kind of understand what you're getting at but I'm thinking it more the elephant monument of Leslie's father is back how Zevo Toys used to be. Free from the tryanny of making war toys and having fun and mirth. So the Elephant Monument is jovial... also could be a reference to Dumbo ("Have You Ever Seen an Elephant Fly?"). What makes me laugh is you can see the cable from where the helicopter attached it and began flying.

Ok. I HAVE to see this film now! I never knew about this.... Learn something new everyday!

    Episode 72 — Toys

I'd be alright with them reviewing this film. An underrated Richard Donner film. Chalk it up to the copious amount of cocaine Robin was railing in the late 70s/early 80s. Watch his HBO special back in 1977, he is coked out of his gourd. Most of his early films, he's snowed. He and Altman were enjoying Malta too much while filming Popeye.

    Mystery Science Theater 3000

Yeah, I knew about that. They first spoke about it when I saw them at the Paley Festival. But the best thing ever was at the festival had to have been all the members sit down in their chairs, facing the crowd after the applause settles down. Then they all stand up, grab the chairs, turn them around to the screen behind them and do an impromptu (probably scripted) new short.. it was amazing!

    Mystery Science Theater 3000

I'm a MST3K fan. I loved watching them on the Comedy Channel (pre-Comedy Central) and loved seeing them live. Some of my favorites are: - Mitchell - Time of the Apes - Wild Rebels - Santa Claus vs. The Martians - Catalina Caper - Zombie Nightmare - Sidehackers - Fugitive Alien - The Sinister Urge (Klein!) How I found about the show was I just popped it on one day, early Season 2, and fell in love with the show.

    HAVIN' A SUMMAH 2013!

Good thing I got to LA back in time before the thunderstorms hit. Spending 10 days in Portland was fantastic! Perfect weather and spent time with amazing people!

    Episode 165 — He's A Lesbian

Second time listening to this episode! Terrell 'Emmer-Effing' Owens! A fantastic episode....that's all I can say about this one. It's flawless!

    Episode 72 — Toys

That's the best part of the entire film! I loved that the composers used Frankie Goes to Hollywood's Welcome to the Pleasesuredome

    Episode 72 — Toys

I remember seeing this in the theater with my parents. Afterwards I was scolded for picking such a piece of shit. Aside from what's been said on the podcast, the only question I have is why the Sea Swine (not monster) was even part of the film? I'm sure there's a 4 hour Sergio Leone directors cut somewhere where the Sea Swine was mentioned prior.. like a toy design somewhere in the general's office or something. That's the biggest WTF moment in the whole film, in a film that has a fuck ton of WTFs. Also, we know Robin Wright's costumes were fucking nuts, but was she channeling to be the next Doctor (the 13th Doctor)?
  11. Congrats on a fantastic year, Jake Here's to the next 52 and beyond!

    Episode 144 — Voice Rolls

Have you tried the Baldur's Gate novels? If there was a podcast called 'Who Wrote This Crap?' I would nominate these books.

    Episode 144 — Voice Rolls

Two word recap: FUCKING LOVED IT! Serious, what's great about Whooch is there's some great diversity in the guests. Sure most of them are comedian friends but having someone like Grey (and the likes of David Mack), makes the show that much more fun to listen to. And as always, Howard in top form. He's my hero.

    Episode 70 — Gymkata: LIVE!

My friend and I went to this taping and we laughed our asses off. Hearing it again, just made me love the podcast even more. Jason was in top form just giving up and not giving a flying f**k about the film... killed me!
  16. Great topic! Well, I'm happy the gang chose one of my picks a long time ago (Godzilla), I'm sure I can list 5 that I could recommend: 1. ON DEADLY GROUND Zen master Steven Seagal gives us his fucking tour d' force speech about dangers of oil pollution. It's your typical Seagal action flick but with bad guy Michael Caine with what looks like painted on hair. Truly an awesomely bad film. 2. THE BROWN BUNNY Aside from Chloe Sevigny blowing Vincent Gallo onscreen, the premise of the film goes out the window. I'd love to hear Jason go apeshit on this one. 3. ANY KATE HUDSON FILM THAT'S NOT "ALMOST FAMOUS" How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, My Best Friend's Girl, Bride Wars, Something Borrowed, Fool's Gold.... pick one. She's the queen of shit romcoms. 4. ANY ADAM SANDLER FILM Again, pick one... okay, aside from Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore. 5. DOOGAL I'll let the trailer speak what I can't type... Chevy Chase, Whoopi Goldberg, Jimmy Fallon, Bill Hader, Jon Stewart....uh, yeah. Let's start that voice casting

    Episode 237 — Filipino Blockbuster

Eugene Cordero fucking crushed it! I agreed with CruBolt that Tito Ben needs to be a recurring character. I did a Danny Thomas on my computer screen at work when Eugene was doing the backing vocals. Great episode.

Episode 140 — Scotty Boy, My Special Boy

You mean like Wesley Snipes here.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ejDJfW_2FJg I enjoyed Armen. He was Wie Wie Lite, half the Howard but all of the flavor.
  22. Epic interview with the World Champion! It was great hearing Judah on the Files. I loved hearing the behinds the scenes of American Splendor.... truly a great flick. Jake, you've been crushing it with guests! So far 2013 has been the Year of the Jake.
  23. Ummmm....yeah. Not much to say about this
