Episode 50 — Through The Airlock

The gang is all together! Wooo! Favorite quote from today's ep: Sark: "Are you crowning?" Brian: "Gross"

    Howard on @Midnight!

Did anyone catch Howard on @Midnight last night? Howard totally crushed it! He went against Jonah Ray and Ali Wong. It was fan-fucking-tastic! If you missed it, Comedy Central replays it tonight about 8pm-ish (check your listings) -R

    Episode 153.5 — 11/08/13 TWO CHARTED 92

An excellent dropping of Twooch! As always Howard was amazing with his Kremerism this episode. Here's my Top 5 Favorite Kremer Droppings for this week's Twooch: 5. "A cobra getting his foot caught in a trap"- My hell, that's genius. 4. "You Suck'em"- When the engineer Dirtcup screwed up his music drops (more droppings!) 3. Howard's Cover Contest Description- I had to draw along with Howard's mystic sage-like words to understand what he wanted. Laughed so freaking hard 2. A Sinistar prop- Gotta love Howard for pulling an old school arcade game from my youth http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xcyBtVwAsfg and coming in a Number 1 (NUMBAH ONE!) 1. Fuckbotch- Like Dirtcup, I too will be using this term from here on in. Truly a kickass episode.
  5. Any County/Country fans see the Bros on @Midnight last night? Jason and Randy were fantastic, along with Ron Funches... dynamite episode! -R

    Episode 171.5 — Sklarbro County 76

That Marilyn Manson story was freaking epic. A great County...probably in the Top 3 for 2013 best County episodes.
  7. Just watched the clips, haven't listened to the podcast yet but HOLY FUCK! A young Eddie Pepitone appears!

    Episode 49 — Battle Bot

Excellent episode! Again, Dave Anthony brings some serious comedy. Whoever's out doing something, Dave should come in and play said character. The 'wearing the cape and nothing else, while strutting around and giving you the wink' bit.... I so lost my shit at work. And LA Nerd Poker Listeners, if you don't know, Brian and Gerry will be doing a signing for the re-release of The Last Christmas down at The Comic Bug (my LCS) on December 4th. Check out www.thecomicbug.com or their Facebook page for information. -R

    Episode 75 — Daredevil

I'm a proud owner of the entire Lois Lane run. It's one of my all-time favorite comics. They're so glorious schlocky, they're brilliant. How can you not love a cover like this:

    Episode 153 — Jedi Skills

While I lament that Howard was tardy to the party, this week's Twooch was great! Having Kurt Braunohler on the podcast was fantastic and filled in a pinch doing co-hosting duties for WieWie. While Kurt was more lucid than Howard, the comedy didn't stop. Charts!

    Episode 75 — Daredevil

Thanks for having Ed Brubaker on as guest for this week's How Did This Get Made! As a huge fan of the man's work (since the early days of Lowlife ), having a comic professional is always good to disect this truly trashy yet weirdly fun superhero flick. What made me bust out laughing was that Ed sat through both the theatrical release AND the director's cut. I've always said this about Daredevil and the Punisher films...it's a great small screen film; working better for your home theater than seeing it on the big screen. Personal HDTG note on this film: When I was in college, one my friend's father was the CPA of the director, Mark Steve Johnson. I had met him on several occassions when I would visit my friend's home. So as a comic fan, Mark told me the story of his script. I had to put on a game face and say 'good luck' when I secretly said 'Have you ever read the fucking comic?!?!?' Then I had been invited to the set to see a couple set-ups. As mentioned, the street scenes were laughable. Kudos for another subpar superhero film! Now review the Dolph Lundgren Punisher!

    Episode 152.5 — 11/01/13 TWO CHARTED 91

My favorite thing today was Howard's Top 5 Orange chart.... 5. Nectarine: made me laugh out loud as a nectarine is more of a peach than an orange 4. Mandarian: a solid choice frm top to bottom 3. Sliced: killed me..Howard just likes simple orange slices. 2. Starburst: Pure Howard....brilliant 1. Karen Elson: excellent pull God I love Howard! "What's up!"
  14. I got mugged outside the Canterbury apartments (or in the proximity of...) years ago. I was coming out of Michelli's one night after meeting some friends, walking to where I parked and some dude walked up to me, pulled out a pistol and said 'gimme your wallet' Just gave him the wallet and he took off. So Don Bolles' tales are pretty much true. Great episode, Jake.... solid.
  15. I love it when Eugene Cordero is in I4H. The man crushes it everytime; gives me an aural boner. By far the 'car radio' bit was nothing but brilliant. And Wayne re-enacting the toilet bit... flawless. Matt, the podcast is great and gets better and better! Oh, you were AMAZING on @Midnight last night. -R

    Episode 152 — Overture

Actually, when I saw the name of the show "Overture" I thought of this... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T6k8OttXOqk

    Episode 152 — Overture

Beat me to it! That's exactly my theory of why DBS used Bolero. I'm sure he saw this in the theater and used it in his reporoire. I'm sure he had more than just Charlie's Angels pics in his tackle box. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dILIdREylC0

    Episode 170.5 — Sklarbro County 75

Thank you for having Alison Rosen on the County. Not only is she one of the best and most charming ladies ever on any podcast, she's smart, witty and can totally hang with the boys with a good riff. I've been a Carolla fan since he started his pirate ship 4 years ago and Alison is a huge part of that success. Please have her on the Country in a future episode.

    Episode 74.5 — Minisode 74.5

Agreed to an extent. My comic friends and I had this conversation in regards to Daredevil. Daredevil works best on the small screen instead of the movie screen. It felt more like a couple of episodes of a DD tv show compiled together. The extended scenes do help form a litle more comprehensive story though.
  20. I really enjoyed this Halloweeeeeeeeeeen episode. I'm smitten with Dykula as she should be a regular on CBB (or CFF!). I'm happy there wasn't a Suicide House this time around. As much as I love the prior Halloween episdes, this one was just different. Dr. Traygo..my god, I love me some Paul Rust. Everytime, ol' Rusty brings his A-game and nails it. His laughter is so infectious; made me smile on a very nasty Monday work day. Thank you Mr. Auckerman for a great podcast today!

    Episode 151.5 — 10/25/13 TWO CHARTED 90

Twooch makes me smile every Friday and this one was utterly brilliant and rife with Kremerisms: - Glish Muff: Perhaps the greatest dirtiest word that existed but isn't. I'd spend my hard earned cash for a custom Kremer English Muffin and a cup of coffee. - Chartist Artwork to make, and I quote (so I don't get the brunt) " artwork of Kulap's Jugs as Apples". I nearly shat myself with laughter here at work. Probably shook the walls on Hollywood Blvd from laughing so hard. - Gene Brayburn Apple shoutout... brilliant. - Woodchuck Cider: Fucking hell, I cried. As for Kulap's apple chart, I guessed 2 out of 5 (Granny Smith & Fuji). DubipR's Top 5 Favorite Apples 5. Granny Smith 4. Fuji 3. Pippin 2. Pink Lady 1. Mutsu/Crispin Great start to my weekend! Thank you Kulap and Howard
  22. A stellar episode, Jake! I do agree with you on how wigwork is vital to comedy...get that shit together! Seriously, a fantastic interview with Adam McKay. It was great seeing and hearing about those Second City stories.
  23. on HBO. Could be on the HBO on Demand area. That's it. It was a depressing documentary. Matt's assement on the documentary was spot on. Oh, and Matt... you kept on saying Orange County. Oxnard is in Ventura County. You should know that living here.
  24. Anytime the greatest podcast guest ever makes an appearance on Whooch, you know you're in for a treat. PFT's Pirate Chart nearly slayed me (wetmypantslaughing# or gutbustinglaughter#...Earwolfers, let me know!). And as always, Howard was in brilliant forum. Can I have whatever he's Juicing...or "Pepperandchining"?#
  25. Best Zouks line: "I didn't pay attention to the dumb words."
