  1. How could I have forgotten quite possibly one of the greatest movies that was tailor made for this program?!?!

    CONGO!!!!!

You need to do this movie. The list of everything in this film reads like a "Stefon" sketch: It's got Lava, Lasers, Sign language monkeys, sesame cake, Bruce Campbell, hippos, pygmies.

    CONGO!!!!!

Also, need to second The Happening, as that movie melted my brain when I saw it. And Deep Blue Sea, because... it's Deep Blue Sea

  2. Awesome show, it brought back fond memories of me actually seeing this in the theater. I worked as a projectionist, and part of my job was to watch the prints of the movies the night before they opened to make sure nothing was wrong with the print.

About an hour after I started it, my boss found me outside smoking a cigarette. He was amazed that it was over that quickly, at which point I had to inform him I actually walked out of the movie. Only the second time I had ever done that. And I was getting paid to do it this time.

Anyway, thanks for the trip down memory lane.

  3. This is an amazing motion picture, and I'm so glad you guys focused on it, and brought in Lexi to help explain how it got made. I remember I was at working the day after it opened, and my friend came in and said "After work tonight, you're gonna go and see Punisher War Zone. It will melt your face off!" and I followed his instructions, and the film, indeed, melted my face off.

Now I have to go to the New Beverly and ask Lexi who's idea it was about scene where Looney Bin Jim shoots the doll heads, because that was probably my greatest WTF moment in the film. That and the dude with the whole in his face.

    Bravo, team!

  4. Fantastic show. Thanks for reminding me about all the stupid stuff I forgot about. (The luggage!)

Also, love the new feature grilling the guest about their How Did This Get Made movie. Please please PLEASE do this with Adam Scott and Torque.
(Or Paul and Adam on Piranha, which I still contend was the greatest movie of 2010).
