I started catching up on this show after not being able to listen to it for awhile. This was a rather depressing episode to start with.
-
I am like a butterfly going through that one process.
Â
BRILLIANT!

I want more cowboy poems! Where can I find this book!?

Shit like this is pretty common. I've had to explain to some co-workers in the past that we aren't practicing any dark arts. We drink Mountain Dew and throw dice around. I bet if someone released a biblical based version of DnD where spells are prayers or some dumb shit like that, they wouldn't have a damn thing to say about it.
Â
Wow... I wonder if that's been tried. It might be a big seller. Like Uno was the card game for Baptists who can't play cards, but because you don't use regular playing cards they can play Uno!

Great episode!

Rats. Why did it have to be rats?

Re: Fat Lenny. I had two mice that both had tumors. I hear its a big problem with rats and mice.

Â
No, thats what I thought a well. Play enough Warhammer and Blood Bowl, Scavens will pop up.
Â
I added Scaven to Heroquest, not knowing that they're actually in the same "universe".

Just finished powering through the 60 episodes over the last month and a half. I was f*ing spoiled. I was able to load the next episode up immediately after finishing one. Now, I have to wait a f*ing week to hear Sir Richard drunkenly destroy man rats and Mildred pine for Billy Joel? Never-mind the cliffhanger botch! This SUCKS!
Â
Oh ... and I miss Ell Ryan and his spirit bear in a non homo-erotic way. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
Â
Edit: Added the botch cliffhanger. <doh>
Â
Wow, welcome to the now! This is the painful life you lead every week now, having to wait until the next one.

The first sketch is just brilliant. "35.. can't drive. That's crazy..."
-
Â
I thought of Gutter Runners when the stealthy ones showed up.
Â
Glad I'm not the only super nerd here.

Love Ian Roberts. And this show. More!
-
From the studio pics attached to the episode, it looks like Sarah's pregnant! Congrats Sarah! (She did amazingly well at trying to hide it in all of the previous pictures)
Â
I make it a habit to never acknowledge a pregnancy until the pregnant person officially says they are pregnant. They can be nine months along and I don't say crap.

Always love a good, "It wasn't a chicken" reference.
Â
Are the rat people Skaven? I know, different game... but you can't get any more rat people than Skaven.

I'd say that Highlander is only necessary to do on the show in order to get a better grasp on Highlander 2, which you really need to do.
-
Great show, loved the cast combo!

That ending. Brilliant.

The puking situation that Matt describes, trying to hold it in your mouth, happened to my girlfriend when we were on the Tilt-a-Whirl ride a couple of summers ago. And no, she wasn't able to hold it all in. I knew she was the girl for me when she vomited all over me and I didn't want to dump her.

The eternal struggle of the RPG player, do I go check out these bread crumbs that the DM is leaving or do I ignore them? My worry is that by ignoring them, you'll be missing some big event that might happen... for instance what if the underground people are making ready to destroy the (questionably) good dwarves?
Â
Remember that water planet side quest? That one was almost big enough to eventually destroy the universe.

I love Horatio Sanz. More of him in everything.

Wow, I've always joked the Klingons have a barbed penis.

I really am surprised that no one resorted to violence in dealing with Damien. I would have been unable to resist.
Â
Especially the Lawful Good character!

"Can you ask us before you do something evil?" loved that line. I think that would make it in the movie trailer of this game.

I am disappoint, just in Damien, the rest was great. How could someone, even partially evil, not want a giant snake as an ally? The possibilities!!! imagine traveling on that thing! Yeah killing it would make all the dwarfs cheer and think you were awesome sauce, but imagine the terror/respect they would have for someone who tamed the "beast". Insanity....
Â
This is true. You'd almost think one would want a giant kill beast as a friend. Giant snake monster guard dog seems like a pretty metal thing to me.

It's all fun and games until the giant monster has feelings. Now I'm bummed out. Sigh...

Just when I thought the dwarves were cool, then this happens.

Sark... Say it aint so!

My regular Star Wars RPG broke up mostly due to the DM getting a new job, then was destroyed by an evil baby.
