It's my new favourite plugs theme. Deserves a whole month worth of fame.

This ep belongs not just in the Top 3 of 2013, but in the Top 3 of All Time for CBB. Adomian must have sold his soul to Beelzebub to get this twistedly quick off the mark.
-
I always look forward to Shark Leather Week on CBB. Plus: "That's the difference, I go there ... You've seen where I live right? It's like a mansion."
-
After all these hours of hearing and watching him you'd think I'd be less surprised at Nick Kroll's genius. But nope, he gets me every time. In a good way I mean.

Don't beat yourself up about it kid, it's normal. I've seen peeps make the same mistake with Adam Carolla. They've convinced themselves Carolla isn't funny but they listen to an episode of his show because one of their heroes like Patton or Sarah or Besser are on there as a guest and then they're surprised to hear their heroes laughing at Adolf Carolla's jokes. As if Carolla has actual comedic talent or something. Tis a rude awakening indeed.

Especially awesome ep from a show which deals almost exclusively in awesome eps.

It was always going to be tough to follow a Womptacular but this ep took a really damn good swing at it. My favourite non-Wompler ep since Daly and Odenkirk I think. And yessir, please get that Mohr kid back in the saddle as a charac or two. The dude is a gamer.

I've heard good things about Cracked.com on the street but never got round to checking it out. I'm all aboard this bandwagon now though. Nice work y'all.

Episode 238 — Marissa Wompler's Birthday Pool Party LIVE
Bucho replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
Magnificent. -
Liked Armen right off the bat but when Scott said, "Armen is like Howard but it's a put-on," I was like, "BINGO!" As much as I enjoyed every minute of entertainment Armen brought and would be stoked as heck to hear more of him, this ep only made me appreciate the actual magic of Howard Kremer even more.

Saw Hitch's North By Northwest on a big ol' cinema screen in a big ol' movie theatre a week or so ago and it was pretty damn magical. Most of the thriller aspects don't really hold up but seeing it in somewhat of a proper context helps put them more in perspective era-wise, and the comedy actually holds up really well. That's a bingo. I'm always pulling for GDT though, so I hope the box office picks up when it hits Japan and China.

"I'm like that guy from First Blood ... Stallone plays him ... John ..." "Rambo."
-
The Choctaw was so fucking magnificent this episode. I meeeeeeeeeean, I love Harris, but I looooooooooooooooooooooooove Scott.
-
Sooooooooooooooooooo splendid to hear PFT's best charac back on the show. Also came to the stunning realisation that not only will I never get sick of Scottabot's ad reads, but my affection for and delight at them actually is ever-growing.

One of the funniest segments of the year. It's hard to beat the banter you hear from genuine long-term chemistry like you get from compatible guys who've spent hours and hours together like those two.
-
Maybe it's just me, but for me Horatio Sanz is the Horatio Sanz of Comedy Bang Bang guests.
-
Neil Campbell has snuck his way into my heart with your Krolls, PFTs and Dalys as perfect CBB character guests. If he starts another rap with "Well, my name is Scott and I'm here to say..." I will figure out a way to find out who has invaded his body and what happened to the real Scott.

Watched Conan The Barbarian with my wife who doesn't mind Arnie movies but had never seen it before. Still a ton of fun and a reminder of a time when filmmakers could let their massive-budget films breathe instead of haring bug-eyed from one set-piece to the next (I'M LOOKING AT YOU JJ ABRAMS).

Episode 41 — The Superstars of Vine
Bucho replied to JulyDiaz's topic in The Fogelnest Files with Jake Fogelnest
Growing up outside the US all I had was hearsay to teach me that anything to do with Mad TV was the opposite of comedy, but because of Vine and his Ten Minute Podcast I've come to realize the fundamental truth that Will Sasso, at least, is magnificent. -
Haywire and Young Adult, both fantastic, both 9/10. Two near-perfect films. After Haywire I re-watched Soderbergh's Out Of Sight, a movie I remember loving a decade or so ago but which didn't hold up too well. I remember thinking J-Lo's performance was better and that The Cloon was more charming, but both felt much more slight this time round which let the ludicrousness of the set-up come to the surface too often and take me out of the movie.

I wasn't 100% on board with Ducky, but any time he used the descriptor "tasty" felt like actual genius.
-
Uh-oh.
-
I'm starting to think you don't get it. Oh, looks like I was wrong, you tooooooooooooooootally get it.

Nobody won in that Mark and Michael twitter handbag fight, that shit was the epitome of lose/lose. I don't know who that was but I did hear Dustin Marshall confirm in an interview that he was the one Mental Illness Happy Hour guest who asked for his episode not to be made public.

Just listened to a couple of eps of Dream Tweet yesterday (Pardo/Gatewood and Pepitone/Conroy). Nice short show and very fun.
