  1. I’ve recently found myself re-listening to the Ultraviolet episode (#175 if you would too), and so many things stick out to me as memorable and enjoyable; the repeated use of the term “hemophages”, the hosts’ repeated confusion at what was going on, the Blood Chinois, etc. One of the big ones being the Doughboys tangent about Josh Gad fucking Qbert in the “Pixels” post-credits scene. So… I may have listened to this episode at least 4 times this week. And then, I found this in a local thrift shop today. Something told me, I had to have it. #JoshGadFuckedQbert #QbertHasNoAgency

    DOA: Dead or Alive (2006)

It's been years since I posted about this movie and I just wanted to bring it back. Please watch this NEXT-LEVEL BONKERS movie. For the above reasons and more. I'm watching it again and losing my mind every few moments.

    Jason X (2001)

I think this would be a perfect addition. I see nothing better than ripping into the Friday the 13th franchise for making the pile of garbage known as "Jason X". What could be better than "Jason Voorhees in space"! The film is rife with things to talk about, like the nearly-all Canadian/sci-fi franchise actors, the extreme nonchalance of most of the crew even at the face of a demented serial killer, and how everybody is fucking everybody. The only person who doesn't get fucked is Jason. And let's not forget such incredible quotes as: "Hey Slappy! I got a little something for ya." "Um, what's a bike?" and, of course... "...oh man." Continuity and scientific errors abound, this movie would make Roland Emmerich question what's going on. And, in closing, I give you this scene. It is quite amazing.

    The Spirit (2008)

I was psyched when this movie ended because I knew it had to be talked about. I was definitely laughing way too loud at a few points, because of just how much everything didn't work. That girl who played a young Eva Mendez's character has probably the most poorly delivered monologue of all time. Oh, and the old-timey accent of the new police recruit? Whenever she came into a scene, I was like, "Oooh it's her!" Guess I'm the only one who enjoyed it (and I own it too)! Maybe because it's like a cartoon: no one feels pain, everyone talks in a funny or strange way, deaths around every corner that no one cares about. Actually, cartoons usually have characters get sad when someone dies. But otherwise, "The Spirit" is a huge pile of nonsense.

    National Treasure

I was pretty happy I learned so much American history after watching this movie.

    Rumble in the Bronx

Favorite parts: - The uplifting speech Jackie Chan gives to the motocross gang after he destroys 80% of them, in which he says everyone thinks they're scum. - They show blood in two separate scenes when a person gets shot in the leg in order to get information, but a man gets thrown into a wood chipper and there's no blood at all! - THE ENGLISH-SPEAKING CHARACTERS ARE STILL DUBBED IN ENGLISH, GUYS - Apparently everyone who works in the market leaves for lunch and the Reservoir Dog mob attaches chains from every support and pylon in the market to a single tow truck in the span of 2 minutes. - The cops never say the leader of the gang is called the White Tiger, but Jackie inherently knows it and says it. - The hovercraft driver giving the mobster with a gun on him a real "yeesh" look when his life is so in danger. - YOU CAN REPAIR A HOVERCRAFT WITH DUCT TAPE???? - THE COPS LET JACKIE CHAN DRIVE THE HOVERCRAFT ONTO A GOLF COURSE TO RUN OVER THE WHITE TIGER LEADER GUY Please do an episode on this movie!

    xXx

I searched the forums as best I could, and did not find this movie suggested. So please don't kill me if someone already did. There was Jason Statham, and before him came Sylvester Stallone. But, somewhere in the middle, Vin Diesel reigned supreme as the must-have action star. I know you guys have done Fast Five, but I think he deserves to have the rest of his work investigated. Starting with "XXX". For those unaware, he plays a criminal/extreme sports fanatic who, because he commits crimes, is recruited by the NSA to take down a Russian crime organization called Anarchy 99. This film is "great" for many reasons, my favorites being the fully Nu Metal soundtrack and how they work in extreme sports into every action scene in the film. Definitely HDTGM-worthy!

    elizabethtown

Bringing this back to the top! I do like parts of this movie very much, but there's so many things that would really make you say "bonkers" over and over again. I can't tell if I like Orlando Bloom's American accent or not, or if it's even good. There are weird nonsequiters and some CRAAAAAZY editing. Please do this movie. It's like Timothy Green except there's no magic or trees, just a sappy love story.

    Lincoln: Vampire Hunter

It's funny you say that, because I think it takes itself WAY too seriously. It's the most serious movie and it's topic is Abraham Lincoln killing vampires. I enjoyed it, but I thought that overall it was way too dramatic. Not to mention all the crazy action scenes. I think Mary Elizabeth Winstead does a wonderful job as Mary Todd Lincoln.

    Episode 60 — Street Fighter

Jason laughing at June's question might just be the best thing to ever happen.

    MEMEZOUKAS

Nope, I'm sure it's all Mantzoukas. I listen to this episode regularly, it has so many quotable lines! Ken Marino starts the conversation about that part of the movie, but then Jason takes it into his whole "That's where I started jerking off" and then drops this comedy nugget.

We're voting on these? Aw man, I just liked making them.

I went next level bonkers on these. The last two are "I Know Who Killed Me" quotes. Because those are great.

    Kickin' It Old Skool (2007)

Yeah, this is probably a great choice. I feel like Jamie Kennedy is one of those actors who only does crazy movies. Son of the Mask, Malibu's Most Wanted, etc.

    The Rundown (2003)

I think this movie is in the same category as Crank/Crank 2 and Fast Five. So crazy and balls to the wall and funny and enjoyable. A lot of the fight scenes in it are pretty great. And Christopher Walken, I mean come on!

    Exit Wounds (2001)

Any film starring DMX is perfect for this show.

There's no way in hell HDTGM would touch this movie. It's gold.

    Episode 53.5 — Minisode 53.5

Great mini episode! The Sleepaway Camp correction is pretty spot on from what I understand. The writer was on to something!
