  1. ugh. totally laime? really? it's so bland. way to take a risk and go with the most obvious choice. at least the challenge introduced me to the little dum dum club.

  3. a good entry. something i really like about the show is its tone, it's just so upbeat. it's like you're hanging out with a couple of friends and getting a laugh every time you listen to an episode, the energy is just natural. totally laime is alright, but it feels so sterile in comparison, when they interview a guest the first few minutes are always them sort of awkwardly testing the waters. even when they hit a good spot they don't know how to keep it alive and it dies on the table. LDDC knows how to latch onto a bit and mine the comedy out of it. that probably has something to do with their comedian backgrounds. - i hope LDDC wins, i'm subscribed to them either way, but i feel like they're just funnier and easier to listen to. more people need to listen to them.

  5. this was a good episode, but i feel like TL might be one of those shows where i only tune in for the guest and not the host. (actually i know it's that kind of show, for me at least.) charlie was really the thing that made this interesting. - i felt kind of nervous when they said the final decision was going to come down to which show they preferred, didn't scott make a post on the forum last challenge saying he would have eliminated LDDC over LHR? it just seemed weird, the whole challenge has been about the next best comedy podcast, but now it's just like which one they like better. i'm all for engaging stuff, but that's why i listen to maron's podcast. LDDC is a show i listen to even though i don't know the guests. i have faith in them as hosts and it always pays off. - i have a feeling they might give it to TL just because it's more of the right fit. it's american, has access to more famous guests, it has a female host which is great if they're trying to diversify the network. - i've listened to a bunch of episodes from both shows and LDDC is just more entertaining. I'll be disappointed if they lose, especially if it's just because TL is the easier choice. - oh also i just wanted to say i loved the challenge as a whole, it was a great idea and i really hope there's a season 2.

  7. the only two podcasts i've actually subscribed to have been TL and LDDC. having listened to a great deal of both i have to say LDDC is just plain funnier. They tell great stories and have a really genuine feel to their chemistry (they play off each other better than elizabeth and andy, which is kind of funny considering they're not the married couple). after just two episodes i felt like i was actually friends with tommy and karl. they're good comedians and it shows. their show is the first podcast that actually made me start at episode one and go in chronological order instead of just picking ones at random. TL seems cute at first, and i'll admit i was totally rooting for them in the beginning, but after about three shows they just fall flat. episodes feel awkward and sometimes uncomfortable. i mean i get it, you guys had sex with other people before getting married, whoa raunchy. i'll be really bummed if LDDC doesn't win. they have the funniest podcast in a competition that's supposed to be about comedy. i mean either way i'll listen to their show, but if they get eliminated it'll kind of sour the competition for me. i'll be shocked if LHR wins, i mostly listen to podcasts while i do other stuff, i'd rather listen to a conversation than several short sketches i have to really focus on.
