  1. This was a very good scene. Perhaps my favorite between the bonus and the full length episode this week.
  2. I liked the Breaking Bad reference in the bullying scene. "Say my name" "Heisenberg"
  3. I loved the concept of Jesus being pompous and always telling the story about his crucifiction in the part of the "Eric is successful by doing nothing" scene and I was disappointed that did not get explored more.
  4. Sounds like someone is very specifically unafraid of the segment. I am not sure such a shallow argumentative position is going to get you on the show, though.
  5. Matt Besser brought up A Wrinkle in TIme in detail in this episode, but he did not know what a tesseract was in an episode of improv4humans a few weeks ago.
  6. This has been said numerous times already, but the "Bakin' a Plane Cake" bit was incredible. It was so well executed and unexpected that I completely cracked up on the bus, reaffirming the fact that CBB is one of the only podcasts I cannot listen to on my commute if I want to appear to be moderately sane. Seriously people, get with the times, people don't just listen to music on their ipods anymore.

    Episode 3 — Gelmania

It's finally here! The censorship has been broken!

I am more worried about it surviving once it starts. Knowing Scott's history of being brainwashed by corporate influence and hating on all things creative, he will probably try to censor all the true art on the show if he ever appears and he will have to be banned from the show, resulting in a devolvement into censorship and one of Scott's infamous smear campaigns against Brett.
  9. I think worse than anything that phish or Harris could do to fuck up Scott's opinion of the band is people getting really heated and angry at the selection of music, and showing an unrepresentatively bad side of the phish fan culture. That said, there are a lot of people being cool about it so don't attack me for accusing everyone of freaking out. I am looking forward to the next episode, don't let the haters get to you Harris. That shit is down to clown.
  10. I find it kind of hard to believe that Scott is actually turned off by the quality of the lyrics. I think the vast majority of all songs have shitty lyrics and it must be either the lead singer's voice or the general feel of the music. Scott said he was a fan of funk, and as a purveyor of funk myself, I would be hard pressed to find any song with lyrics that aren't silly or completely nonsensical.
