I finally watched this and I just have to say, Harris is the f'in cutest. I am serious.
Â
Whooch Live is so fun, thanks again for doing these Earwolf and VPN.
-
I love that Walsh referenced Bedknobs and Broomsticks - underrated kids movie. One that I now realize features humans turning INTO animals (via magicks!) so that adds another wrinkle to the bestiality stuff.
-
On the eagle video, Shelby said "there's a tiny chart inside the egg." Was that a Hooch reference?
Â
Exactly my thoughts, Kickpuncher!
Â
When I was a tween/teen, I could pull in a radio station that did 5 hours of Seventies music every Saturday night and they would ALWAYS play Disco Duck. I didn't know "the cast of idiots" made it to Midnight Special though, wild. That's not one they plug when they're trying to sell you the Midnight Special DVDs on that invomercial.

Twenty-nine sword settings! Act now and we'll throw in a bonus sword with a DRAGON on the BLADE.

"Cake Start My Heart" --Weirder Scott's tribute to Cake Boss surviving his heart ailment.

I knew the Kevin voice was an affect, but it was still pretty cool to hear Brian's real voice.
Â
I like how the Sklars can talk about regional sports heroes and moments from any guest's hometown.
-
This episode was hilarious and great! When I heard the Life Alert ad it brought back memories of imitating those voices with my friends.
Â
Also, my brother used to work as a paramedic and then as an ER doctor, and he told me that people would choose their words carefully to avoid the exact phrase "I've fallen and I can't get up!" Like, "I'm on the floor and I'm unable to....stand."

Yeah, I'm a dude and I'm totally fine having Baz injected into my eyeballs.
Â
Sunscreen was an essay by Mary Schmich, Baz just put it to music.
Â
Here's more info : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wear_Sunscreen . So we still don't know Baz's voice because this says it was performed by an Australian voice actor, which makes sense.
Â
The best part was that it inspired Chris Rock's "No Sex (In The Champagne Room)"
-
"Don't ruin this, Seth!" Hope it works out for Joe and his mystery lady
-
This was cute, I liked it. Especially their criticism of the "union cats." I just have regular old dirtcats but it seems there's always purebreds on TV.
-
I can relate to "pininterest" - I always thought it was "red-edit" in my mind until someone said "reddit" aloud.

I did my searching homework and saw that Buddy and Caroline suggested Vanessa Ragland....well I third that emotion. She's SO funny on her show Pop My Culture; I think she could fit right in on WC.
Â
While we're on the ladies-with-podcasts tip.....how about Jackie Kashian. She's really funny and sharp and I would enjoy learning more about her, in chart format.
-
Cool episode! I have heard Jason Ritter on the Gravity Falls show but not on a podcast before. I like the ones where Randy and Jason get a little "punchy" for lack of a better term.
-
I'd like to dedicate this episode to "The first wolf that can speak English."

the choice lines "A master vampire, able to walk in the sunlight, unstoppable. Unless we stop him"
Â
The BEST line. My buddy and I would constantly quote this after we saw this VHS.

So glad Ku-Ku and Wie-Wie enjoyed their bags. The Life Savers, I didn't even think of the nautical aspect, I just wanted a food that was individually wrapped so they would be safe. Someday Howard can have the real anchor jacket but for now he can have the pocket square/handkerchief in any other jacket.

Cool episode! I have seen @randazzoj retweeted into my twitter feed many times but never knew who exactly he was. Thanks, Jake, for the introduction.
Â
Also the phrase "graffiti friends" (referring to the Parents Just Don't Understand video set) made me so happy! It tickles me in the same way as Jonah Ray's "karate casual."
-
Cool to hear Howard mention Heavy Metal Parking Lot. It's a nice short documentary and it really is a great snapshot of the era. http://www.snagfilms.com/films/title/heavy_metal_parking_lot
When you watch it, you will find yourself saying "I wanna jump his beohns" (I never knew the Maryland accent existed before I saw this movie!)
-
Loved the episode - I thought it was cool how he mentioned Larry Hankin. He is always fun to spot in different shows - for example he works at the junkyard in Breaking Bad and was seen in the YEAH MAGNETS episode.
Â
Really the whole episode could have been Fred & Jake talking about their cats and I would have been happy.

Great episode, this is what keeps us all coming back for more.
