  1. This is all you need to see to know what this movie is all about.
  2. That scene was nutso. I was in disbelief at how long that entire thing drug out. Pacino just kept going on and on about cookies and milk and I was waiting for the two other guys to just go "Look, nobody cares about your fucking cookies. Let's get on with this!"... but they all seemed perfectly okay with letting him go on with his ramblings.
  3. This movie is way worse than Trespass. When they finally reveal the murderer, I didn't even recall that character ever being introduced at all earlier in the movie. And there are SO many red herring characters thrown in for no good reason at all, but my all time favorite has to be the temp.
  4. I remember when this came out, I didn't put any thought into it.... didn't realize it ranks as such a bad movie. This should be interesting.... And of course, its not available for stream on Netflix. But then, what is
  5. One thing I don't think anyone has mentioned about this movie here is the bizarre soundtrack... it doesn't fit in with ANYTHING else going on at all, IMO (and I mean in terms of atmosphere, attitude, and production value). The score almost gives the movie this sense that the movie is actually about Loki, the Norse God of mischeif, manifesting himself in Tommy Wiseau's head and making him act all bizarre and do crazy things for his amusement. The movie was apparently scored by by Loyola Marymount University music professor Mladen Milicevic. Despite thin experience in Hollywood, Milicevic seems to hail from a family steeped in film making experience and has done a lot of music production and scoring projects himself. His scores really aren't all that bad honestly. I just can't help but get the feeling that when scoring The Room, he was really thinking to himself "I don't give a FUCK about what this movie is about. I'm going to prove to those bastards at New Line Cinema that I CAN score music for the Lord of the Rings movies, once and for all!" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mkvm1OywjFE&feature=plcp&context=C39c843dUDOEgsToPDskKBlul365lS5mucPovLjz4y

    Ridiculous Cage

I'm in Austin too, and I can think of no other place here that would show something that ridiculous.
  7. So I suppose the Shock was the explosive kamakazi birds.... and the Terror was the autistic serial killer's slow methodical plot to trick and trap an innocent naive girl and skin her alive so he can wear her skin in a fleabag motel?

    Ridiculous Cage

That must have been at Alamo. They really need to host a ridiculous Cage marathon there.

    TRON: Legacy

I had my fair share of zings for the movie, but I actually really enjoyed Tron Legacy. It doesn't strike me as a HDTGM candidate because... well, we KNOW why it was made. Tron was badass, and the visuals and audio in tron legacy was amazing. Even at the expense of a plot, which did itself a favor by remaining paper thin and taking a backseat to the visuals. The only part of the movie I really disliked was from the start up until Journey's Separate Ways played.
  10. Oh boy. I wish I was not reminded of this song.... this had to have been a return favor. It contains more shock and terror than any other part of this movie. wait wait... "Young ladies are doing their makeup.. and the brothas can't wait to hook up..." AREN'T YOU HANGING OUT WITH YOUR FAMILY???

    Batman & Robin

This one has to be right up there with Escape from LA. I have a hard time determining which one is campier.... just when I think that Batman and Robin wins out with bat skates, bat credit cards, and ass close ups.... Escape from LA hits me with Snake Pliskin basketballing for his life and then green screen surfing in a canal with Peter Fonda. There is a lot of gold out there.

    Ridiculous Cage

An excellent montage! HI-FUCKIN-YAAAAH!!! Fair warning: one brief moment of non-language based NSFWism in there!
  15. This really is one of the worst scenes in a movie I have ever seen in my god damned life.
  16. Wait, wha? Wussed out? Were they supposed to murder Vanilla Ice? I think there was a general understanding from all that the film was foolishness. When you have the man there for a limited time, you gotta ask him the behind the scenes stuff and not just be like "You suck!" or whatever you were expecting.

    Endhiran

Ok, i know i've been posting a lot of rec's lately.... but how could I let this one slide? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7yBnl_krN_U
  18. Watched this the other night. Longest music/dance scenes ever. Lots of Vanilla Creeperisms. Best scene in the movie was the Tecmo Bowl clip.

    Freddy Got Fingered (2001)

I couldn't stand this movie. I cut out on it I think about the time he started jerking off a horse (which I think was near the very beginning). I know what you are all about, Tom Green. And I say "thanks, but no thanks".

    Constantine (2005)

Somehow, in Constatine, Keanu Reeves manages to over act his physical acting. I always enjoyed how much effort he put into lighting his cigarette.

    Episode 29 — Trespass

Which in retrospect is a really dumb way to set up your alarm. If you are sleepy one night and the alarm goes off by mistake and you rush to deactivate it, you can end up summoning the police by mistake.
  22. I would buy and wear this shirt. Just so long as the back reads "TELL ME!!!!!"
  23. Cool As Ice.... man.... rough stuff
