    Olympus Has Fallen

Watching this on Netflix now. This takes dumb to a whole other level.
  3. I'm just going to paste what I wrote on my Facebook, after having just watched this on Netflix instant: and

    Olympus Has Fallen

Its on Netflix now. I might have to rethink this opposition.

    Episode 75 — Daredevil

By the way, Ed Brubaker was a great guest. I would have loved to have heard his comments on the Catwoman movie. Hopefully y'all can have him back for a future comic film.
  6. You guys talked a lot about the CGI baby and why they used a CGI baby. Well, here's a little insight: http://io9.com/behol...-cre-1458463368 Ever wonder, "Hey, why was the spawn of Twilight lovers Bella and Edward such a hideous CG monster troll?" Well, guess what? It could have been much, much worse. Behold the animatronic monster so hideous it scared the cast of Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2, and had to be cut from the film. Watch director Bill Condon and the rest of the cast shudder at the mere mention of this monstrosity's name: Chuckesmee (a combination of Chucky and Rensemee). Video of the hideous thing here: http://movies.yahoo....-165101972.html
  7. I wish people could just let sleeping dogs lie. That Carrie remake was like an abortion in my mouth.
  8. Supercalifragilisticwhenwedropwegoballistic. God the early aughts were just as cheesy as the early 90s.
  9. Oh my God I am so excited for this. I haven't seen this movie but I was always looking for an excuse.
  10. Oh good lord... Marmaduke. I forgot that was made.
  11. I finally got around to watching this, and I have to say.... Crap story and characters aside, John Carpenter was still a master of atmosphere in this time. When the kid's head melted to bugs and snakes, it was pretty damn creepy (nevermind the logistics of that...). Nothing made sense, but at least the atmosphere was right for it...?
  12. I'm just going to leave this right here. http://io9.com/star-trek-into-darkness-the-spoiler-faq-508927844 Massive spoiler alert for people who have not seen this yet. And it doesn't even begin to touch the litany of issues I had with the plot. I actually thought that, if you ignore the plot entirely, the movie was kind of enjoyable. Its like watching Bad Boys 2 in space. The integrity of its sci fi was about at Bad Boys 2 level, too. All I gotta say is, when an old sarcastic Futurama gag takes your sci fi to school for a lesson, you know you went wrong somewhere.

    Showgirls (1995)

I just sat down to watch this for the first time tonight. I'm only 1 hour into it, but holy hellballs.... every single person in this movie is a grade A, Defcon 5 level MANIAC. Holy shit.

    Assault on Wall Street

To my shock, it IS watchable. Its not very enjoyable, but it is watchable.
  17. Wow, a film I voted on is being done... I feel so empowered!! ..Wait, "Season of the Witch"? Is Nic Cage in this one, too?
  18. I wonder how Helena Bonham Carter feels about playing Lindsay Lohan.

    Episode 73 — Congo

When the ape starts to drink and Tim Curry's character continues to talk, I imagine that hearty sigh was Tim Curry sighing, forcing himself to endure a ridiculous scene while trying not to break his equally ridiculous character.

    Episode 73 — Congo

Oh my God, I forgot all about the gorilla warfare scene. Good god, there were so many fucking guns and explosions going off and rockets FUCKING ROCKETS streaming through the air all targeted towards monkeys.... it was like a scene out of The Expendables, it was so ultra violent in its intent to destroy animals with reckless abandon. I could not believe that they unleashed such an incredible amount of unbridled force against gorillas. Who, I guess, were supposed to be super intelligent and outwitted the computer defense systems.... ... but not intelligent enough to not JUMP INTO THE FUCKING LAVA LIKE THEY'RE AT A GOD DAMNED POOL PARTY when the volcano erupts. Seriously, fuck this movie.
  22. God, this movie is a fucking journey. Its like a pointless Lord of the Rings. I hope they throw this monkey into the fires of that volcano at the end of this.
