    Snubs and Flubs!

Yeah Besser's Pope was underrated. I loved how goofy and unsubtle it was. I think the first thing he said was that his hat was big enough to hide a child under. And the Mantzoukas/Brie/Odenkirk episode was wonderful; amazing chemistry, first of all; second of all, "Chief Queef."

    Episode BO2012.2 — Best of 2012 Pt 2

Head on over to the snubs and flubs thread!

    Episode BO2012.2 — Best of 2012 Pt 2

I got my sister into CBB by making her listen to the Gweneth Paltrow bit. Now she loves the podcast an the TV show. I told her that there wasn't any word if CBBTV was coming back for a second season and she got genuinely depressed. I also thought there were a couple great moments from less-than-great episodes that deserved bonus clips. The slash fiction bit with Fred Savage was hysterical, and I loved Ed Helms' character coming full circle with the "I thought they were mustard packets" punch line.

Did Amy Philips do Gweneth Paltrow? I loved that bit.

    Episode BO2012.2 — Best of 2012 Pt 2

I agree with this. It seemed like literally everyone thought that Wipeout and Time Bobby were going to be 1 and 2, and that Finger Guns was definitely going to be top 5. And there is no earthly reason why Best Bro Hang should be anything other than a bonus clip. A plague upon his lack of a character!

    Episode BO2012.2 — Best of 2012 Pt 2

I could complain about the rankings BUT how can I be mad when we had TWO AND A HALF renditions of comedy legends Paul F Tompkins and Scott Aukerman singing the Mos Eisly Cantina theme!

    Episode 59 — Gun Control

The "Case Closed" on episode 36 definitely made me uncomfortable, but all the rest of them have been some of the highlights of the show. Matt usually calls himself out on his own attitude, too. On the Cyborgs episode he says in a hilariously brash tone, "People can write comments about the show on the website. I like the positive comments about myself the best." This Gun Control episode in particular had a great discussion; I don't think the caller felt offended or threatened. He argued his position well and seemed to have a good time. That being said, I like that it's not a weekly thing. After the Kat Williams-themed episode and the Gun Control episode it was nice to have a regular one this week.
  8. Loved the dissection of Crystal's pretentious Jazz Man "piece."

    Episode 130 — Tall Napoleon

This episode needs a fan reappraisal. Nobody talks about it, and yet I think I laughed as hard listening to this as I have during any episode of the show. "I was in a film called 30 Foot Pool Table. First film Spike Lee ever directed underwater."

    Episode 192 — Best of 2012 Pt 1

Hologram Toes (with Patton Oswalt and Eddie Pepitone) has almost no cursing during the character bit. And it's one of my favorite episodes.

    Episode 52 — Reindeer Games

The moment where the gang figures out the connection between "Rudy" and "Reindeer Games" is perhaps the greatest moment in HDTGM history. Also, this episode made me realize how few callbacks there are in this show. And how much I love them when they come around. Loved Jason mentioning that he was still confused about the family relations in Sleepaway Camp and the clown rapists.
  12. This isn't showing up on iTunes.

Episode 20 — Owen & TJ Read the News

    You're missing the joke.

    Episode 59 — Gun Control

None of the skits had anything to do with the tragedy itself, but rather the issue of gun control. The episode isn't all laughs, either. A large portion of it is dedicated to simply discussing the issue. Speaking personally, it was cathartic to be able to find humor in an issue that makes me so angry. There's nothing funny about the tragedy, but there *is* humor to be found in some of the anti-gun-control arguments.

    Episode 7 — Killer Tracks

    Those Pitbull covers were brilliant.

Episode 6 — Building The Track

I just discovered this podcast today and have been working my way through the episodes. Needless to say, this episode will be frozen in time inside of my mind.

    Episode 192 — Best of 2012 Pt 1

Whoa! "Repeat Your Keyword" and "Pulled Bjork" relegated to B-B-B-Bonus-s-s-s Clips? Best Bro Hang was voted on by anyone? Fingerguns not in the top 5? HIGHLY ILLOGICAL!

Episode 2 — The Jack Special

I'd like to vote Owen and TJ as the best new podcast of 2012. Absolutely brilliant episode.

    Episode 59 — Gun Control

This is why improv4humans is arguably the best podcast out there. Also: "One Ply toilet paper: for people that hate their own butts."

    Episode 1 — No Homo

You have to listen to more than 10 minutes. Once they start to develop TJ as a character it gets incredible. Also, no homo is still a thing, unfortunately.

Episode 2 — The Jack Special

I'm so pumped for this. The first episode was one of the best podcasts of 2012, and now we've got Rob Riggle in the mix? Yes please.
