The titular sketch was killer. I don't think I ever really understood what was supposed to have happened in the Crap On Youtube video , though

As much as I was looking forward to Don Demillo, this was the weakest so far. I adored the first segment and it had me looking forward to the rest. But I thought Zoukes unfortunately kind of misjudged the tone, and it brought down the rest of the episode for me. Demillo and Mall brought hilarious creepiness full of heavy breathing, but Falcon was brash, which meant he kept stepping on their bits. While the other two were playing the slow game, Falcon kept adding zaniness that detracted from the creepiness of Don Demillo. He kept saying, "Don, didn't you....", which forced Don to keep Yes Anding his suggestions, and they were were more zany than creepy and didn't have the right feel for the character. Marissa did this a bit too. I'm not sure Don should be paired with other people playing big personalities.
This opinion is factually incorrect.

I think everyone is missing the point:

"This instrumental is great but we don't have time for it-" After 1hr,14min of talking about everything except the album. I get the impression the photo of Adam and Scott looking tired and haggard reveals they've committed to a podcast they don't want to do anymore...
Really? They sound like they're having an absolute blast and didn't want to stop recording.

I'm bummed that there aren't more U2 fans commenting on this U2 podcast board

BAHHH! There are no bad tracks on Unforgettable Fire. This is fact.
-
My first U2 album was Atomic Bomb (yeah) so I was a latecomer to the band. Maybe it's just me but for me? Unforgettable Fire is a perfect album and perhaps their best album ever.
Bad is easily their best song.

Here's how amazing the mind of Andy Daly is:
First, Tony is introduced in 119, by Daly's character Andi Callahan. Yet he wasn't just mentioned in passing. In fact, everything about him mentioned became cannon!
-Andi meets Tony at a movie theater (in episode 200, this is called back that Tony does his hanjob side job)
-Andi describes Tony as "great at digging holes" (again, episode 200)
Β
Pretty cool that he was fleshed out so much even before DeMello mentioned him in a later appearance!

I literally can't believe my ears. This was a CBB fan's dream. To be continued?? WHAT?
Β
AND YET! I am ever saddened by the fact that Andi Callahan, RN is always forgotten. And apparently Ben Alterman. Never may we forgot The Widow Feeney!

Can't believe I didn't think of that, but yeah that's a REALLY great point, I really hope one of their guests in later episodes HATE U2
They're clearly going for a different type of show here, though. Otherwise there would be no point in starting a new podcast.

Count me as another glad to hear Danielle's return. She's hilarious.
Β
This whole episode was fantastic.
She's one of the best improvisers around. I'm astonished every time she's on the show.

Just re-listened to Unforgettable Fire in preparation for the next ep (episode) and that might be a perfect album as well. I remembered it having some clunkers...I was wrong.

Dear Scott Aukerman,
Please start a Radiohead podcast immediately.

Oh man. I wasn't sold on Ben Lee until I heard Chris Martin's Frown. Huge Coldplay fan, but that song was AMAZING. And it lead to an amazing scene.

Sometimes I'm loffing so hard, I start bussin' up.
I like to loff, but sometimes when I laugh too hard it gets too scary.

I can't even handle this level of comedy. I feel like my ears are unworthy.

Who put you up to saying that? Was it that wizard on my street who disguised himself as a dog? I hate that guy, always telling me what to do...
Β
But really though, you were feeling their contribution? I thought the comedy was just bad and poorly executed. I mean didnβt one of them even do Adam Sandlerβs βI got a snake, mangβ voice?
Sean and Dom make me loff and loff my whole butt off

I love Wengert and he was amazing as usual, but the other two guys, Dominic Dierkes & Sean Clements, weren't very good. Giggling throughout the whole show which was just mildly annoying but from start to finish weren't funny.
Β
Their scene set-ups were weak and confusing, making people unusual without clearly directing how they wanted to go or giving any help beyond that. When that's done on this show with other performers its not a problem but Clements & Dierkes performances suffered from that. They also directly used the story a bunch, not just little snippets like Wengert didwith th "last 5 minutes" thing but the entire scenario was just regurgitated. Again, that can and has been great when done well or when it leads to something but that never materialized. Repeatedly their contributions hurt more than help. The deleted scene was much the same specifically the way the movie exec was cut in, awkwardly introduced, and then puts the onus of being funny is put on the other performers.
Β
Nobody else mentioned them in any way negative so perhaps I'm off on this one?
You're a madman.

So I definitely need to see this movie, then .

Speaking of Garry Marshall's Wikipedia page...
Β
Ha! Took me awhile to see it.

Jim needs to be a regular guest. Amazing interplay with Sanz.
Β
I had to rewind the "Where'd the money shot go ?" and "Byyye!!" parts so many times.

Andi Callahan, RN is such an under-rated character. It also brought us the introduction of Tony! Really hope we hear from Andi again.
