  1. This episode was amazing, and I think it was the perfect rebuttal to anyone who has gripes with the UCB model. I can't really speak on it too much given I've only recently taken a couple classes in LA and only seen a handful of shows, but I really believe the idea that the way the UCB theaters are run not only gives performers a chance to experiment and find their voice, but it also fosters a friendlier and more fun environment. The UCB is such a huge breath of fresh air in that it lacks a lot of the competitiveness and the desperation that so many other comedy places seem to have. I think that friendliness and openness translates so much to the stage, especially in improv performances. And it's what makes anyone that spends enough time at the UCB so damn funny: they are taught in a place that values cooperation and collaboration in every single thing it does. So anyway, please excuse this long post. Great job Matt, Ian, and everyone else that helped make the theater what it is today, your conviction to making great comedy is really inspiring.

    Episode 14 — I Love Pizza

Oops! Spoiler Alert: they accidentally let the last "show" play in the theme once during this episode even though Hayes and Sean were clearly very excited to get on with the show. Sorry guys, but that's a blooper. You blooped. IMDB is going to have a field day with this one. Also, that whole "I love pizza!" clip reminded me of this clip from Survivor where the contestants have to try even harder to pretend like they enjoyed their shitty prize. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DUTsTSxb5O8
  3. I wouldn't worry, I've gotten the general gist of what you guys have been talking about even with the shows I haven't seen and still enjoyed the interviews with reality show contestants. I especially loved the episode with Lily Elise where you guys sang for her and had her judge you. Stuff like that where you have your own little Reality Show Show reality show is always really fun, and might be a cool way to familiarize the audience with the type of reality show the guest is on without cutting down on the jokes and laughs.
  4. Haha awesome! Thanks for the shout out guys. I really appreciate you being so upfront with stealing my idea and profiting from it. I respect that. I won't fight you on it as long as you add a clause to the contract: next time you're at some big Hollywood party rubbing elbows with M. Night Shyamalan and other Hollywood elite, you have to look up at the moon and wonder if I'm looking at it too. Just once. Then we're even.
  5. Another fantastic show, guys. This has definitely become my favorite podcast. As you were talking about "fake" reality shows like the Joe Schmo Show, I had an idea. Someone needs to make a show in the same vein, but in the Storage Wars format. Then the producers could plant certain suspicious items in the storage facilities and real storage buyers have to piece together a murder mystery. And whoever solves it gets a prize. Please make this happen. Hayes and Sean, maybe you could use your big Hollywood connections??

Episode 194 — Me Gusta Characters!

SO much talking during the Would You Rather? theme. Shameful. Scott Aukerman must be rolling in his grave. He sleeps in a grave. He's a Dracula.
  7. Hahahah that was me! They played my plugs theme and I think they accidentally left my Soundcloud running, so that was my dumb voice muttering over the sounds of wind. So basically I'm double famous.
  8. Another fantastic episode. Really sounded great on my Kindle Fire's Superfast T-Mobile 4G. I thought of another strategy along the same lines as the Top Chef Pickle Gambit: an entrepreneur could lick his hand and touch all of Mark Cuban's money. No one would want to touch the money because of germs and he would get a "Tanks" by default. Surprised no one has tried this yet. EDIT: Also, a reality show I enjoy that you guys could check out is Face Off on the SyFy channel. It's about make-up effects people competing to make the most ghoulish monster. It's cool. Happy Halloween.

Episode 160 — Slow Dance Boner

Here's the video of Kyle jumping onstage to be with Billy Joel if anyone was looking for it. This was only moments before he got a boner and died of AIDS. http://youtu.be/zSTJ64z0QvU
