Williams best friend gets shot in the nuts before he's murdered as well. Seriously, why did that need to happen? AND WHY THE HAIR PIECE? I DONT UNDERSTAND THIS.
-
I think he may have. Then he stabs her again...in the kidney? By that point in the movie I was just like, "whatever to this thing." Some other notes I made: No one in this movie obeys traffic laws. They drive like vehicles are a foreign concept. I love this police station set. The soundtrack in this movie really made me feel like it could turn into a soft-core porno at any moment, and then it kind of did so I guess it's appropriately scored? Does this movie happen over one day or two days? Am I the only person who thinks William and Cindy grinding in a train car is repulsive? Does this movie like women or hate them?

going to watch this right now.

Episode 6 — Paul Rust, Our Close Friend
robinsbruce replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Hollywood Handbook
This picture had to be extremely large because it had to fit all the fucking professionalism Hayes literally brings to the table. Sounds like I got a B from Paul, which is nice because I don't need an A. A's are for over A-chievers. -

Episode 5 — Paul F. Tompkins, Our Close Friend
robinsbruce replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Hollywood Handbook
To PFR, 1. You clearly work out your characters for a really long time before bringing them to the stage, where do you draw your inspiration from so as to properly enter the funny zone? 2. Did you get into improv for the laughs or for the ladies? P.S. What up with dog clits? P.P.S. My understanding is that if you miss the funny zone you automatically enter the danger zone. Is this correct and how do you deal with the danger zone? -

OUR GIFS ARE LOST! Kidding, it happens. It was a great episode. They always find a good "replacement" for Ku. -

Episode 62 — TV CARNAGE
robinsbruce replied to JulyDiaz's topic in The Fogelnest Files with Jake Fogelnest
I was trying to get a side-by-side comparison of "Chis Gaines" and Kriss Angel because their look is so similar, but in the internet wasn't having it. The whole idea of Garth wanting to be an "alt" artist really cracks me up and I could listen to people talk about it forever. I like to imagine that Kriss Angel's dream is to have an taler-ego wherein he is a slobbish, no talent country singer. This episode was a treat. Anytime Jake gets someone who's known for super specific and inane tv/internet stuff I get excited. -

My dude is a genius for real. So happy anytime he's a part of the show. Zach found the perfect bit to drag him into. -

I love this. If this isn't chosen as the new shirt design can we throw in to get these printed somewhere? I have to have one. -
Episode 5 — Paul F. Tompkins, Our Close Friend
robinsbruce replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Hollywood Handbook
First let me preface by formally saying what up, what up? Remember way back when I said I would donate to the show but purely to spite my employer?(don't quote me on that) Well I did, cause I don't need fellowship money from "grad school" (aka THE MAN). Now I know you're big shots in the biz and all. The money is probably just a drop in the bucket compared to the kind of bank you dudes generate from appearances at clubs/nintendo power parties. TO BE CLEAR my donation is really more for the scoop troops and third tier shlubby jewish actors that are blindly searching for the ladder that you dropped down for them. They need this show for reals. Now if you will excuse me, I need to go find some scratchy mittens before next weeks show. There's reported to be some bruskiis with my name on them hidden inside. -

Awesome. Thank you as always Earbear, you delight me. What if I'm the guy who doesn't know the name of anything so I just describe what it literally is? (this is my James Adomian doing Todd Glass bit inside my Earwolf bit)
-
HOLY SHIT EARBEAR. The zoom in on one face/zoom out everyone's face is the same is one of the few types of meme that I think is funny in almost every single instance. This set a new bar for me to compare all others against.
-
That's not really true. The catchphrases come from the forum every week. Also, shows like Nerd Poker, Whooch, and HDTGM interact with their forums. I4H and Fogelnest Files have forum user videos.... Earwolf has a good forum. #nonet

Episode 105 — Zombie Lisp
robinsbruce replied to JulyDiaz's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
Ah, gallery 88 is where I found brogan's work the first time. If you're into that style I recommend checking out Brogan too. Pop art is heady. Screen printing is probably my favorite visual medium. It's so difficult and detail oriented. It appeals to all of my compulsive tendencies. Tim Doyle has been blowing my mind for a couple of years. If you like comics or dig the old Mondo movie prints, he is the guy to check out. I'll stop. -

This fight scene is choreographed so slowly and poorly it is amazing to watch.

Earnest praise? Is that really the kind of attitude we're trying to foster around here you guys? Well I for one will NOT be a part of it!
