Holy shit Jon. This hit a little close to home for me since I'm from Alabama. Kidding, this is fucking genius.

His character arc would probably be closer to the polar bear. Or the...spirit bear? ZOOOOOOOOOM!

+1 Dan. My opinion (which I'm sure is flawed) is that we all have friends/family that are problematic, and we all say things that are problematic from time to time. I still care about those people, I still try and reduce the bull-shit coming from my own mouth, and I still enjoy Moshe's stand-up. Not every joke he makes is awesome, but that's how comedy works. I don't think he is a bigot, and I think that his attitude (and other comedians) is justified if people are trying to tell them how to write their jokes/bits. I'm not saying pokey is wrong to express his/her thoughts on the matter, just throwing my pennies on the pile. P.S. I liked this ep. a lot. Moshe's book is pretty good too. So if you like him and don't own it, grab a copy.

Looks more like HATCH grant work. Still valid depending on the "impact factor" of the journal you publish in. Definitely MS worthy, and with more data points perhaps worthy of said PhD. In all seriousness, this is awesome.

Sweet. Fucking. Episode. I love this. Also, +1 for Joshie for the Physical Chemistry drop. P. Chem was my least favorite chem series in undergrad.

Quest Metal is yours my friend. I was lucky enough to see them last year in ATL (they had not played there in almost 20 years.) They still fucking kill it and Bruce can still sing. The fans were even nicer than the hippies who hang around most of the shows I see. I cannot count the number of times my buddy beat MegaMan X in one run with Number Of The Beast blasting throughout the house. I will forever associate Metal with serious gaming.

Yep. Late nineties era shit-flicks are some of my favorites. -"CAN THEY ACT?" -yeah, you know, "blah blah blah, girl power, feminism."

Dammit Jerry (Garry)! Great ep. guys. One gentle correction: Synthetic weed isn't weed at all. It's basically potpourri that is sprayed with chemicals....see "Spice" brand. I don't know why anyone would smoke this stuff when actual weed is readily available anywhere. Hydroponic/Organic only refers to the way cannabis is grown. Synthetic means its industrially processed. P.S. Van Kirk was on fire at the end of the episode.

Sklarb ep and HDTGM minisode thread are still down. Just a heads up -
Iron Maiden. Goes well with any fantasy. One of my friends has been seriously into them since we were like 12, and now calls their brand of metal "Quest Metal."

Episode 73 — Inquisitive Triplets
robinsbruce replied to admin's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
I just want to say that this episode has some serious replay value because of the songs. I also really like using music as the "in" for stories that become fodder for improv. Thanks Matt. -
this episode was fweeking awesome. seriously, Wengert/Lapkus Rules. Can we please just get one more plane break? I feel like Scott is only mentioning it to tease us. P.S. Grape-gina.

Didn't Matt used to do a musical videocast with his friends? I remember seeing something about that. -

I totally agree. She's pretty, but the response to her character in the movie is cartoonish. Surely they could have found an actress who is both good at her craft and pretty right? I mean she isn't soooooo hot that it makes up for her dreadful performance. I feel like the director was giving her notes from a 13 year-old girl. "Ok, now walk real sexy and blast open that leather jacket. No, we don't want a shirt/blouse on under it. All we want is pasty skin and big hair." - Barry Sonnenfeld
