    LITERALLY a serious question

How did 5002 people get into a room with no entrances? Because if it's in a future where teleportation technology exists, those children could theoretically all be cloned from the genetic material of Bruce Lee or Roddy Piper and programmed to kill like baby Kurt Russell in "Soldier". And does suffocation/carbon monoxide come into play at some point? And why are they fighting anyway? The two adults should be comforting the children ala Jerry Lewis in The Day The Clown Cried.

    Prometheus (2012)

To be fair Jarry we're talking about a prequel to one of the most popular sci-fi films ever from one of the greatest directors of our lifetime that was highly anticipated for over 30 years. I don't know if it was possible for Alien/Ridley Scott fans to not go in there expecting the world, especially after seeing the big mysterious dentist patient in the trailer. All that being said, at least it wasn't The Phantom Menace.

    Prometheus (2012)

I feel your pain Shannon. Maybe, like myself, you expected to find out some answers after watching the superhyped prequel to arguably the best sci-fi movie ever? Well, that's just crazytalk. In the sequel they probably end up at the diner from Spaceballs.

Episode 17 — Hack and Slash

They are pretty big on oversights in these parts.

I didn't know Paul was buds with Lindelof, my bad Paul.

Ed Hardy shoes are indeed real. I saw many in the douchebag capital of the USA, aka south Florida, and more than once in conjunction with Jimmy Buffet paraphernalia. Since then I've adopted a more liberal stance on forced sterilizations.

    Episode 6 — Will Ferrell

Jeff should replace Leno I love that 33% of the guests so far have a personal strange Christopher Walken experience to share.

    Prometheus (2012)

Damon Lindelof should shampoo my crotch since he's never busy finishing a third act for anything.

Sounds like he'll be returning within the next few weeks.

Makes no sense next level bonkers bad horror movie

Episode 17 — Hack and Slash

Yeah I agree. I know they record these in bunches, but to the listeners they've been in this one tower for almost two months. It's pretty fucking brutal. I wish they could put out two eps a week or something. But I know the scheduling is rough for the gang. By the way,

Episode 16 — The Water Box

I keep reading and watching playtest reviews on youtube saying that DnD Next is basically the Pathfinder starter box, which was supposedly mostly based off of DnD 3.5, which was supposedly way, way more complicated than 4e which these guys have even said they don't feel like bothering to really learn. So I doubt they're going to jump on the next edition.

jk this or this depending on what's happening in the story

Episode 58 — In The Name of The King

I think Blizzard is still talking about a WoW movie, and they probably have enough cash to throw at it that it'd be a pretty good production. But since their world revolves around elves, dwarfs, orcs and humans etc. I think whatever they do would just come off as another dumb Tolkienesque generic fantasy movie.

Episode 17 — Hack and Slash

Glad to hear of Gerry's imminent return. Big fan, hate to be that guy, but I think 6 elevator-centric episodes is enough.

    Waterworld (1995)

Waterworld is bad but The Postman is a million times worse. The scene where the kid holds up the letter and he dramatically rides backs on his horse to grab it makes me yell at my tv.

Episode 58 — In The Name of The King

99% of her reaction was probably caused by her bro's delivery. "Where's my son? With mom and dad?" "Yep." "Great." "Well, he's with them in heaven. That counts, right?" /cry

Episode 58 — In The Name of The King

Two other things I laughed at: the town of Stonebridge appeared to be one house, a barn, and a bell tower. And King Burt's epic deathbed speech regarding seaweed fertilizer.

Episode 15 — As The Dust Settles

Since they record a few episodes worth of gametime in a single night and we hear those split up over the course of a month, the pacing probably doesn't feel as slow to them. Unless Sark plans out specific scenarios for each show I don't think it's going to change, but that doesn't seem like it'd fit their freewheeling style.

    Deadfall (1993)

I honestly have to say that Nicolas Cage is one of my favorite people to watch in a movie, because after all of these years I can not decide if he is a seriously incredibly talented actor (Leaving LV, Adaptation, Matchstick Men), a hack who does action films for the money because he's always in tax trouble (Con Air, The Rock, Bangkok Dangerous), a family/romance movie actor (National Treasure, Cpt. Corelli's, City of Angels) or a legitimately insane person who was born a Coppola and does movies (Vampire's Kiss, Wicker Man, Deadfall). But Deadfall is by far his craziest performance ever. I think he was going for Dennis Hopper from Blue Velvet as played by Peewee Herman.

    Episode 57.5 — Minisode 57.5

I did. I think if you cut all of the battle scenes out and just focus on the dialogue and acting it's shittiness really shines through.

Episode 58 — In The Name of The King

I wonder if the two black actors drew straws to see which one of them would fill the "black guy dies" trope.

Episode 58 — In The Name of The King

The dungeon romance scene reeanactment was rad. Also this was shot in Canada like 3 hours from Seattle and they used "locals and First Nations peoples" as extras, because Europeans haven't done enough terrible things to Native Americans.
