  1. Great episode of Tax Papers Bulletin. This whole episode was phenomenal.

    Episode 540 - Low Five

It feels like it's been a while, but the general template of "Scott walks a recurring character through the key points of their backstory" is one of the most reliable sources of laughs in the podcast world.
  3. This was tremendous. I literally out liquid-ed many times.

    Episode 538.5 - This Was a Mistake

Episode 2 (which was recorded before this one, and they don't know the title yet) is basically "Paul laughs at insane childhood stories from Scott and Lauren", for anyone who might be interested in that sort of thing.
  5. The Lovable Lads From Liverpool are back! I love the REM show, but this is a reminder of how much more I like this (largely because of my own greater familiarity with and liking of the band). Thumbs up to Phoebe having the same favorite song and album as me.

Episode 539 - The Pointing Sisters

CBB, please ask your new spouse why it hasn't released any episodes lately. Great ep. Love those New Lone-Os.

    Episode 538.5 - This Was a Mistake

"Ha Ha Ha, I Have to Go", "This Has No Pay-Off", "Work Friends", and Paul's last three suggestions are all better titles, but this is very good.

Episode 83 - Scent Of A Woman with Jordan Katz

I've never seen this movie and wasn't familiar with the plot. It sounds completely insane.
  9. So sad, but this was an amazing send-off, similar to (and every bit as good as) a CBB holiday/anniversary show.
  10. Great ep! I was blown away when I read that Jordan Peele profile and he talked about Farts & Pro. Nice to hear Chelsea in an ep with a little less "bit saturation".
  11. Tremendous! When I saw the episode title, I figured it was something involving prison and a wedding, but this was so much better. (Also, it was weird how they almost exclusively mentioned Morgan Freeman movies from after 2001, but then The Bucket List was the one that triggered someone to finally point out that it would be in the future.)

Episode 380 - Always Willing To Walk

She's great. I like her regular comedy persona, but I don't know how well it would fit with co-hosting regularly, so I like how she comes out of it a little more than usual on these episodes.
  13. "So you've taken steps, magnetically, to make it uncompassable." Pure genius.

Episode 380 - Always Willing To Walk

"RIP Steve Hawk. Clench Crew, what's up?" Howard's description of trap as "haunted ice cream truck" is brilliant.
  15. Fantastic. It was really impressive how genuinely bad the songs were.
  16. HOW ARE WE JUST NOW HEARING ABOUT THIS NEW SCOTT/PAUL/LAUREN PODCAST??? Also, this was very good.

Episode 537 - Silly Cone Valley Poo Crew Minus One

Sad to hear that Cody is leaving, but he'll never really be gone as long as every other Engineer Cody is properly credited.
  18. Honestly, this was kind of boring, but it was worth it just to hear Gourley in a state of such pure bliss. Mira's assessment of the Star Wars franchise was weird. I agree that it's becoming over-saturated, but he said that he liked Rogue One and essentially advocated for non-saga movies without acknowledging that that's exactly what they're doing.
  19. They could never release it as a physical album because the title of Rosebush Red's first song wouldn't fit. This was great, but it would have been even better if every single question had been about drivin'. Joe's growing frustration at the lack of fuckin' questions was my favorite part.
  20. I like how Gabrus's theme for SXSW was "knowing two things" about things.

    Episode 536 - Live from SXSW 2018

Pretty sure it's scientifically impossible to make a less-than-stellar episode with Gino.
  22. Well, at least we get a greatest hits tour as a farewell.
