Guy pretends to have a heart attack in court room -
It's pretty shitty to just assert that people are doing a "schtick" when you don't really know. I don't know Armen that well personally, but I can assure you whooch and twooch are not an act. Nobody is in "character". If anyone is even heightened, it's like 5%, if that. We didn't tell Besser to pretend Armen is a certain character and to tease him based on that. I took that pic of Armen in the corner, that was a real moment, he was really that distraught. Armen didn't snap out of it the second the recording stopped, everything you heard was real. It's also sad to think that people cast off Howard as doing a "schtick". In fact, of all the people I work with he might just be the most "himself" on-mic, as crazy as that might sound. Not that there's anything wrong whatsoever with having different personas, but Howard can't really help but be Howard in any situation, even when he's explicitly doing a character, which makes it funnier.

Sorry Tim, my brain doesn't work sometimes. Hope all is well and you're enjoying the table! -

I did. It was Harris PSA music. Kulap literally asks for it on-air I believe. But there was one moment where some extra got left in by mistake, so I cut that out. Clearly a very successful, not at all confusing bit!

Trust me, I would fire myself if I didn't have that setting already turned off. It wasn't the volume keys, it was some weird prompt in iTunes that apparently ignores that setting, that's why it was actually a pain to recreate on cue.

Sorry about that, small goof. I replaced the file. I'm still attenuating the noise level in the larger second studio, the first round of panels wasn't enough. There is plenty of compression going on. In fact it's compression that amplifies the roominess. Sorry it bugged you, Earwolf 3 will be up to standard soon.

Thanks guys, one take make-em ups are so much fun. Reminded me of some of the Rafflecast "Building The Track" energy. I hope we'll do more in the future!

I figure it's time to list the guidelines again, in case you didn't see the first page. Your video is more likely to be used on the show if... It's NOT an act, a fake, or funny-on-purpose. It's NOT a music video. It's NOT an "Everything is Terrible" style edit. It doesn't rely on the visual to understand. It needs to work on an audio podcast. For long videos, you let me know when I should start it to get to the good part. There should be a way to embed the video to start at the time you want. It's not too similar to other videos and subject matter that has been used before. Thanks! Some good ones recently! -
Definitely not her fault, she has nothing to do with the albums. My fault almost entirely, and I feel really bad about it. I've been under the gun with a lot of stuff. You will have the album for the rest of your lives I promise. There will be a sudden push of a lot of Kremer gold soon I hope.

You made my day, I should hang this on my fridge! Thanks man, I really appreciate it. Gotta give credit to Cody too, he works hard with me on improving the Earwolf sound and we both care way too much about it. The whole staff is really dedicated, and the feedback makes it worth it. Thanks again, Earwolf fans really are the best.

haha all of this is absurd Howard and April are really good friends guys, like siblings. They hang out regularly. It's not always clear over the air what is going on inside the room.

Oh by the way, here's that outtake from after the end of last week's TC

Exciting announcement: we're upgrading Earwolf's sound!
BrettMorris posted a topic in General Earwolf
Engineer Brett here, It has always pained me to release these podcasts in such a low bitrate format. We were previously restricted by file size limits and such, but now we are much evolved as an operation and the streaming world has advanced to our needs. I figured it's high time for us to upgrade! Our previous standard was 48bit 22.050k sample rate MONO. Just threw up in my mouth a little. We are now going to release all of our podcasts in 112bit 44.1k in glorious STEREO as a minimum starting today. That may not seem like much, but as far as streaming podcasting standards go, it's like going from VHS to 3D Blu-Ray for your ears! Listen to Andy Daly's new show for a great example of what a good stereo format can do for your podcast listening experience. Imagine Who Charted or Sklarbro Country where the music doesn't sound like it's being played on a transistor radio! It's a new era! Enjoy it!- 5 replies

Episode 008 β Kiss Me, Iβm Patrick McMahon LIVE!
BrettMorris replied to JulyDiaz's topic in The Andy Daly Podcast Pilot Project
Thank you Cornballs. This show was magic to see live, it gave me goosebumps. And the songs, I still can't believe how funny they are. From the beginning, this series has been something truly special, I really wanted to make sure the sound did this finale justice. I've never spent longer on a live episode. I also just want to note that Sean Conroy is one of the funniest, sharpest people in the world. He blows my mind consistently. He's known for long-form, but the limerick contest alone shows he has every skill there is in comedy.- 98 replies
