  1. I unironically feel honored to be part of the cultural movement/phenomenon that is the comprehensive and encyclopedic compendium of all things U2 that is this podcast. Also, I'm pretty sure I'm Scott's family too, we're all Scott's family..
  2. I feel I need to have heard of the new U2 album before I actually listen to the album. I think it's high time the Scotts come out or retirement. Looking forward to finding out the new line-up of the band as well as some good film recommendations. Here's to a good ep.

Episode 300 — Oh, Golly! You Devil

I think participants of this forum will appreciate this. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2705637/Married-Chinese-man-suffering-stomach-ache-goes-doctor-learns-actually-female.html

Episode 300 — Oh, Golly! You Devil

Wasn't this released previously? Tough, to be sure... Still... Good ep.

Episode 296 — Taking the Bladder Out

David Wain is such a weirdo. Love his appearances! Neil brought it again.. Really appreciated the plug to his favorite playwright. I mean seriously, Quackers Featherbeaks Coo-coo Caper is as much of a classic as Death of a Salesman, if not more.
  7. Gnab gnab idemoc ut mocleuw...
  8. I honestly believe these two AIs were generated using transcripts of this podcast: P.S. U talkin' U2 to me? R.I.Possible?

    Episode 294 — Honk Shoo

Was there a non-break break in this (and previous) episode or is it just Scott's ears lying to me?
  10. It's been 6 months already? Can't wait for the see-thru shirt I ordered from Bonobos to arrive!
  11. Stop the press, alert the media! This is podcasting U2.0. I have found what I'm looking for, only to lose it too soon. Here's hoping to a U2nd season.

Episode 292 — DJs Are Sleaze Js

I do believe it's "Oranges: The New Black". But more importantly, I think they were barking up the wrong tree during that Beethoven bit.
  13. I still check every week for new episodes. I know one day there will be one, it has to...

    Episode 290 — Shed Busting

I want this to happen so bad...

    Episode 290 — Shed Busting

I'm half way through this and I can safely say this episode is totally gay... But seriously, it's one of my favourite episodes ever. Wow!
  16. What is happening? There are too many comments! Too much chatter!
  17. Thanks! Going through the playlist now. Haven't really listened to Billy Joel (he's not that big here in Greece I guess) but I like it a lot. Zanzibar is such great song writing, even better uh... rock and roll, music than U2! Actually, in a more serious note (pun intended) I went into this not caring about U2 and, giving them a second chance in the course of this comprehensive and encyclopaedic compendium of all things U2, I now actively dislike them. But I've grown fond of Huey Lewis and Billy Joel and also learned to love film as well as better handling my financials, so it's a profitable experience in total.

    Episode 285 — Solo Bolo

This is a collage of thoughts: 1. Anyone else thought that Benny Swàss was channelling a young Don Dimello during the Chocolate Factory bit? His voice when confessing his allergy to chocolate (19:20) was surely that of the Dark Lord himself. Hail! 2. I wonder if the non-solo bolo eps (episodes) of Marc Marón and Seth Rogen were actually accidental bolos. I'm pretty sure that Marón's ego leaves no space for another person even in the biggest of Earwolf studios... 3. Scott has certain guests that he shares specific chemistry with. Like with PFT it's the character arcs, with Zouks it's the perversion, and then House of Pies' star, Benny Swàss puts the conversation in overdrive. I can see how some folk might not enjoy this scattered all-over-the-place type of comedy but I abolosololutely love it! 4. I realise that most of you reside in the US but for us non-US listeners, most ads are dead air since we can't use make use of the discounts even if we wanted to—except perhaps the ones for website builders. 5. I can buy $80 pants. In fact I'm so rich that I've already sent my $2000 check to the Scotts, together with my last year's tax return and bank statement. #talking'boutmoney
  19. Someone already mentioned it but I 2 am looking forward 2 this more than any other podcast. Probably the fact that the Scotts just don't give a shit about the content and just have a good time, makes this absolutely brilliant! 2 many things that I would love 2 mention, the comments, the art... I'm just quoting the video because it made wake up my neighbor with laughter, but basically wanted to say, it's a great privilege 2 be part of this community. Thank U all.
  20. I think you misread my comment. I'm not saying this was the best episode, just that it was balanced. I agree with you 100% that I would not listen to the podcast either if it was so much U2-centric all the time, as I, like you, could not care less about U2 too. (I've actually tried giving them a second chance on account of this podcast but they are just low quality rock and roll music, in my opinion). If I were to describe the perfect episode of this—the comprehensive and encyclopaedic compendium of all things U2, it would actually be a descending spiral of nestling I Love Film episodes. Because, despite my name not being Scott, I too love film.
  21. I think this instalment of this—the comprehensive and encyclopaedic compendium of all things U2, stroke the perfect balance of actually interesting info about the titular U2 album and random banter. Lowest moment was that episode of "This is how I talk when I talk about Cuisine". It was so bad that Scott didn't even acknowledge Scott's "good ep" remark... Other than that, I was almost teared-up when they were talking about "Stuck in a Moment", and then they started the jerking it/suicide jokes, which were hilarious and totally grounded me back to laughing my ass off. The chemistry between those two is unrivalled. I really wish they go on until Bonó comes to the show or U2 break up. Btw, go to Comedy Bang Bang, ep. 267, 8:25 minutes in, and enjoy Scott's comment with the proper insider's knowledge.

    Episode 8 — Pop

    Logged in to hit like.
  23. Listening back to the first segment of CBB ep 80 totally feels like the Scott's are talking U2 to me... Should be added to this, the comprehensive and encyclopedic compendium of all things U2.
  24. I think with this instalment we can safely say the podcast's titular question has been finally answered: U talking U2 to me? No, no U are not.
  25. Adam's fart in the Mt. Rushmore bit might be my favorite moment of this comprehensive and encyclopedic compendium of U2 knowledge that is this podcast.
