Episode 376 - Our Farewell to Earwolf Episode

Where did all of the old forum members end up? I heard Tim Treese had sex on that earwolf table he bought and the sweat made all of the sharpie signatures rub off on his skin like tattoos.

Episode 277 - D'Arcy Carden, Our Close Friend

I was driving when I listened and forgot to post this last week, but I just wanted to say that the emmy in the cupboard guy is ben schwartz

    Episode 248 - Triumph At Comic-Con

This episode was so good. It was like they were doing an RSS ep on themselves

Episode 217 - Listeners, Our Close Friends 4

Not that I even noticed or cared, but for anybody who hasn't been posting on these boards for half a decade, I'm pretty sure there were only like 7 or 8 other forum members on Sean and Hayes' list of people they were hoping to talk to before they got to me.
  7. did these dudes try to kiss a podcast fan and get rejected? The insecurity about whether their show is good or not is over the top. Only commenting on their boards out of pity tbh
  8. It's funny that there's an ad for a punk rock musical at the end of this because I've actually always thought that the way these guys do ads is so punk rock.

Episode 203 - Lamar Woods, Our Close Friend

ya know what they say: hayes for horses
  10. Hayes and Sean, the Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn of podcasting, conspire to witness the funeral of their own show only to find that there's nobody else in attendance. Tom Scharpling makes an appearance as their physically large but mild-mannered slave.
  11. Lauren Lapkus: Your imdb says that you played "Candace" on one episode of a TV program called Kroll Show - What were the personal differences between you and the creators that kept them from bringing you back for more? Followup: Your imdb says you played the "Normal Woman" on an episode of Drunk History. As a character actor would you say that was your most challenging role to date? Mary Holland: Wikipedia says "The name Holland is also frequently used informally to refer to the whole of the country of the Netherlands." To avoid being an annoying fan, would you prefer Mary Netherlands? Paul F. Thompkins: Does knowing that adult men Cosplay as you get you off? Was that the end-goal when you started dressing like that? Jon Gabrus: Wouldn't it make more sense to record podcasts on toilets rather than chairs? Since that's where they're going to end up anyways? Nick Kroll: When you first recorded "the wolf dead" sound bite, could even imagine how big this shit would get? Isn't it like fuckin rock'n roll man? Thanks Sean and Hayes! It's been fun!

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SEAN!

Hey Sean I just hear the news about Stephens death and it reminded me that it's your birthday. I know loss can be hard and dying because of bugs in a hosepipe is a tough way to go, but hopefully it doesn't cast too much of a shadow on your big day.
  13. My favorite podcast comment is the kind that lets the host/guest know that they're not really your cup of tea, BUT this time they did something you liked. It usually goes like "Normally I don't find this kind ironic detachment funny, but this episode actually had a couple of good moments" It's a great comment because rather than only saying the nice part, which is probably what you would do in real life, you wrap it in a negative to make sure they know that almost everything else they're doing is not good for you. Really puts them in their place!! Love the show! Have fun out there guys

    Survivor Season 33: MEGATHREAD

Sweet, tied with MarshallMellow For the record I misunderstood the scoring and thought the wildcard was supposed to go out early bc of their naughty behavior! I never would have bet on Rachel to win!!! !!!!!

    Survivor Season 33: MEGATHREAD

Challenge Beast: JAY - He's a friggen beefcake, what else is there to say? The Strategist: WILL - He'll probably do well on challenges too, but I'm thinking his youth will lead him to focus more on strategy than human connections and after a big betrayal he'll cry. The Black widow: FIGGY - this is just based on the probst assessment where he said she sexy and she know it. The Cutthroat: ZEKE - I've heard stories about Zeke breaking all the boys hearts to get to the end of big brother games, so I think he'll be willing to cut some throats. The Old Schooler: ADAM - seems like he'll want to play a pretty basic strategy of numbers, I could see him getting screwed in a tribe swap/ merge. Under the radar: JESSICA - could have been old schooler too. Seems like she'll play a basic strategy, but be better at hiding it and adapting. Wildcard: RACHEL - Jeff sort of made it clear that she has a temper and can be unpredictable. Ready to see some rice get dumped. Bench: DAVID - Seems like a sweet man who I would love to share a bench with. Final 3: Figgy, Jessica, Zeke Winner: Figgy

I forgot to mention that I submitted it to the doughboys forums as if it was my own idea

Episode 149 - Just Sean and Hayes

A few months ago I went to the desert to look at flowers and plagiarized a Far Side comic while I was there. Cool shirt huh guys? (actually it was very hot and not cool at all haha!)
  19. This was a great and very informative episode of the Hollywood Handbook, a podcast about kicking butt and dropping names in the red carpet-lined back hallways of the industry some call "show biz."
  20. This was a funny episode but I find it very rude that the ad at the end was for Hello from the Magic Tavern after Alex Blumberg was so in love with that show that he practically tried to marry it during the recording, yet pretended he had never heard of Hollywood HANDBOOK. Seems weirdly retaliatory.
  21. Hayes is only 19 so he's too young for those, and I don't think it's ever been confirmed as to whether or not Sean has an age. Anyways everybody should check out Party Over Here. It's the only show on tv to have the guts to take that Raccoon washing cotton candy viral video, replace the raccoon with a girl, and then change nothing else! I don't know how they come up with that stuff and honestly I'm a little too afraid to find out.
  22. I feel like I lived and died a thousand lifetimes during those four seconds of silence between the Midnight Special comment and Sean's reply.
  23. This musical guest is really great!
  24. Since the show is getting into the bones of how a pilot is written, can Hayes and Sean please explain the decision in Billions to compare it to a game of Chess? There is no money in Chess. Wouldn't Monopoly have been a better choice? As a student of the craft getting this answered would be very helpful. It can count as a Pencil Gallery question if you'd like.
