  1. I remember tweeting that Simpsons parody at PFT and Scott the day that best of came out. But not to say "You were thinking of the Simpsons version" but specifically to say "Well the Simpsons writers remember it that way too, they even talk about it on the episodes commentary." Everyone is dumb except me!

Anyway I'm kind of feeling bad I haven't give them a Grandchild now. I would if I could.

  2. Ha I just tweeted that to them.

It's also worth pointing out that in the episode, the microphone can broadcast over any nearby radio.

In the commentary for the episode, they reference it as a "commercial that was very popular in the 80's"

  3. I'm still perplexed how you remember how many O's are in your screenname when you type it in, that's pretty neat.

I've not posted on this forum for over 6 months, and the sign in thing remembered my name. So the more perplexing thing here is that you're manually typing in your username each time.

Yep that's what I break my forum silence for. Everyone seems to have covered the weird angry misogynist guy.

  4. I think that she might have good reason to be insecure about that.....

But, take this as you will, this episode is the most I've ever liked her.

There's an art to babbling for 90 minutes, and I think it might be harder for the guests who aren't in character.

She's good at it. Credit where credit is due.

Yeah I'm not a big fan but, I warmed to her a lot after this. She seemed very nice and was having fun.

  5.

This is saying A LOT after PFT's off-mic explosion from Maxwell Keeper's "I LOVEEEEEEE YOU!" in the anniversary episode.

I have never quite voiced this opinion on the forums, but I believe that PFT's off-mic laughter may be the best part of his CBB's appearances, perhaps more than any of his character performances

    This is actually an insult.

"You know that involuntary thing you do? Well it's better than when you're trying to be funny"

  6. i get the feeling you think members of the hh community are being contrarian by supporting the show so enthusiasticly. This couldn't be further from the truth. The show being an absolute riot is what created very dedicated fans, and the community is incredibly welcoming to new fans as well.

That's not what I meant at all. It's something I can relate to where you love something so much you want to get everyone into it, but then realize enthusing about it all the time just puts people off, or they just aren't interested.

  7.

disagree, tried to listen once because the guest was someone I liked, and it was just not fun for me. Maybe there were too many things that are HH bits, so I was out of the loop? Please give me a quick 5 of your favorite memorable episodes, for comedy sake, and not necessarily for self-referential bits. I want to pick up another earworlf-cast to round out my work week of commutes, but it failed to hook me before

I've listened to a few HH episodes and thought they were alright, then looked in forum thread and there were about 200 comments from people posting in-jokes and memes at each other. I think it being one of the less popular shows on earwolf has created some very dedicated fans, but this enthusiasm ends up having the effect of being slightly alienating to newcomers.

I'm sure it's something I would get if I persisted more, but I don't really have the need for more podcasts right now.

  8. It feels so pointless repeating what everyone else has said but I still want to say thank you to Scott, your into was beautiful and the podcast has brought me so much joy for years now.

Even though podcasts are mostly ephemeral, I've bonded with friends over them, made other online friends because of them and gone to shows featuring comedians I heard about from the podcast. Even through difficult times, Comedy Bang Bang and other Earwolf podcasts have been there to give me something to look forward to. It's hard to imagine my life without them.

  9. Did I really just get emotionally invested in a CBB story line?

I suddenly realized I'm a Gilly and Garry shipper because I was a bit sad with the ending. I feel like I must have forgotten something previously established, because I didn't understand what Scott said and what that meant.

Also a bit odd that he did that after voting for Garry and Gilly.

  10. Does Lauren Lapkus sleep?!? Not only is she starring on a TV show, filming high profile movies and hosting her own weekly podcast, but she also makes atleast one or two amazing guest appearances on podcasts each week?

New no no - Lauren Lapkus is Paul F Tompkins now!

There was even some off-mic laughter from her this week. This theory holds up.
