    Character Drawings

Micah, those are badass. It would be awesome if it was a complete deck, with each of the enemies they've faced being one of the suits. The collectors, the new rat/lizard/chicken monsters in the caves, the mechs/worker bots on the ships and in the tower, and we just need one more group of bad guys for them to encounter. Oh and the other Joker, cause I think there's two in every deck, should be the Necromancer/Final Boss they will fight. Damn I wish I had any lick of artistic talent.

Episode 58 — Change of Scenery

I can't draw, but this is all I could picture when they started talking about the barrel. And then the big payoff. Sir Richard couldn't be happier.

    Did you see this?

Ok, this isn't really a question, but the whole HDTGM crew got a lot of love over at Uproxx and I wanted to share it. http://www.uproxx.com/tv/2013/09/movie-studios-quoted-get-made-podcast-movie-posters/ Thanks for the hours and hours of laughs.

    Episode 70 — Gymkata: LIVE!

Maybe it's just me, but when they played any audio clip of the Indonesian princess all I could here was Steve Odekerk doing the voice of Ling from "Kung Pow: Enter the Fist." And while we're on that point, can we get a Kickstarter going for the sequel to Gymkata to be made by Odekerk.

    Gymkata - Omission

Given the sheer absurdity of this movie, I think the only logical conclusion to be drawn from the Star Wars references is that somehow Gymkata is set in the same universe as "Turkish Star Wars" which is also free on Youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQ_RZ-_JXU0. I watched this at the Alamo Drafthouse in Austin, Texas during a Whacky Wednesday show. HDTGM crew, I would highly recommend during a live show at the Drafthouse in Austin. Those guys are great and the crowd would be perfect for your podcast.

I think the HDTGM crew needs to make a field trip to the Stallone Zone http://badassdigest.com/2013/08/19/austins-alamo-drafthouse-ritz-presents-the-stallone-zone/

    Episode 67 — Sharknado

"Hey Scott? Hey Scott? We didn't make this movie." This was a great moment. Scott getting so mad and Jason calming him down. Not sure if this has been posted yet, but i09 has a short interview with the "Thunder":http://io9.com/we-asked-the-writer-of-sharknado-some-very-serious-ques-736131336 And I totally agree with Lukas To me the best part of this show is the "movie" that June watches, the "movie" that Jason watches and how they come together on the show and explain what they saw and got out of these craptacular works. It would be more work, but I think it would be fun to have June and Jason do separate independent short summaries that they record and then listen to and discuss it together on the show. Because each one of them comes up with completely bonkers layers and sometimes these lines of thought get stomped out or shouted over when all three come together. Goddamn I love this show and the fans

Episode 66 — Demolition Man: LIVE!

I just realized the dumbest thing about this entire movie. The scene where Coctou and Phoenix first meet, and Phoenix can't pull the trigger because he's been programmed not to kill him. If in this world and this future they are capable of behavioral programming to that degree then: WHY NOT DO THAT WITH EVER FROZEN PRISONER? You could take this further. If Coctou really wanted to kill Freely, then he could just reprogram any prisoner--not the most violent psychopath in the entire prison. You could just take any guy and make it so that all he wants to do is kill Freely, and no one else.

Episode 66 — Demolition Man: LIVE!

Well played "Ryan Sz." Let's add to that crazy with this. Simon Phoenix is the twin brother of Nino Brown from "New Jack City," also played by Wesley Snipes. After the death of his twin brother in 1991 in New York, Simon heads to LA to "start up a drug syndicate." I think "Demolition Man" has broken my brain.

Episode 33 — To Hide or Not To Hide

It's great that Sark was so freaked out about that. Although in my head it wasn't creepy. It reminded of an episode of Dexter, sorry no image to post, where he calms this girl down--Julia Stiles--by cupping his hands over her hands and being right in front of her face. She's trying to block the world out and essentially rocking back and forth and because she trusts him, or at least knows he wants to kill the guys who hurt her, it somehow pacifies her and she's able to relax. I feel like at some point, Sark is going to have to reveal more of the story. Even the players in this last episode have said they feel like they don't have many options. I think they have more than they realize, but they have very limited information to go on and they know that Sark has no problem wiping them all out. Huge fan of the show, maybe they'll be able to get some info out of the female captor they have. Also, does anyone else get the sense that Stargoyle would turn into some sort of amazing rampaging demon if they ever used him in a battle? Maybe it's just wishful thinking, but I think he could go from cute pet to hellhound/demon really quickly.

Episode 66 — Demolition Man: LIVE!

I loved this movie as a kid and never thought of Bullock being Stallone’s daughter—mind blown. But hearing that and putting it in context with all of the other bizarre and goofy crap has given me a great new way to appreciate the movie--or just made me crazy. This movie isn’t bad and nonsensical, it is amazing and makes perfect sense if you realize……….the movie is taking place in John Spartan’s mind. Jason hinted at this a little bit towards the end of the episode when he was talking about people going insane in solitary confinement. So, a la Shutter Island, Dream House (don’t watch the trailer), even a little bit of Brazil or Memento the movie we are all watching is what the protagonist is seeing/creating in their mind. Hear me out. In the first 5 minutes, how is it that Spartan knows the entire warehouse and is able to eliminate every guard so easily? Because he’s repeated this sequence in his mind for 37 years, like when you play a video game level over and over and know where every bad guy is. It also explains June’s issue with Spartan’s sentencing and why he says “Skip it” repeatedly. Spartan is literally trying to skip through a boring cut scene in a video game that he’s seen a bunch of times and get to the next action sequence. I’m going to take this crazy idea further and posit that Spartan killed Phoenix back in 1993, but not at the warehouse/chemical factory explosion. That event happened, Phoenix captured and killed a bus full of people. Spartan’s inability to stop Phoenix broke him, both morally and mentally. After the warehouse tragedy Spartan goes on a mission to murder Phoenix. He tracked him down and executed him and for that was sentenced to “Ice Jail.” That explains why there is no beginning to the story. No origin of Simon Phoenix, which side note that movie should be called “Rise of the Phoenix” and should be made immediately. Make it straight to DVD, Snipes needs the money after all of his tax issues. The movie “Demolition Man” that we are watching is the story that Spartan’s mind has created for him. It is what happens to someone who is frozen but awake for years. Spartan’s mind is stuck in an infinite loop that makes him a hero and refines the story a little every time. Maybe in the first dream/extended hallucination Huxley was his daughter as his brain was thinking he would never get to see her again, but after many years and iterations Huxley was re-written to be a love interest instead.

    Episode 42 — Batman & Robin

The cartoon that Jesse Falcon references is part of the The New Batman Adventures series. The episode with the kids making fun of Batman and Robin is called "The Legends of the Dark Knight." Here some guy on Youtube made a video discussing it. Cut to the the 9 minute mark and he describes the same scene that Jesse mentioned. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bZiWUHcJzik Love the show, please keep them coming.
