    Episode 9 β€” Sam!

Happy Belated Nothingness Worm Food Day! Can't wait to hear you guys talk about the Challenge finale. It was a great ending to such a crazy season. And if you haven't already, be sure to watch the reunion episode. It just keeps getting better and better.

    Episode 59 β€” Gun Control

Think about how much (meaning: how little) money schools have. Now think about the quality of the armed security guards they will be able to afford.

Episode 4 β€” Let’s Get Ready To Rumble

I dunno, think those Tinkerers or Fixers (or whatever they were, I can't remember) would have been pretty dangerous to deal with. Besides, that boat was doomed to sink as soon as they ripped that door off its hinges.

    Episode 59 β€” Gun Control

The "War on Drugs" analogy falls apart when compared to if gun control was strengthened. The reason there is a huge market for drugs is because: 1) People want them 2)They are relatively simple to produce. If stricter gun control was enacted, there wouldn't be a "huge black market" created because there wouldn't be a constant source producing guns in a relatively easy-to-get fashion like there is with drugs.

    Episode 59 β€” Gun Control

I really like Matt's "Shotgun Compromise." Want a gun? Fine, have a shotgun. The guy they interviewed seemed level headed, but I didn't like his arguement that it was impossible to regulate guns any further because "there are too many guns already out there."

Episode 4 β€” Let’s Get Ready To Rumble

Loved how 4 of those guys immediately just fell into the water. . Loved this episode, sad that their gear is probably gone for good. Hope they get some good stuff in this pontoon!

    Episode 8 β€” You're A Moron

First off: Hayes, are you a professional DJ (also known as "Disc Jockey")? I feel like your instincts on what music to play and your timing is ridiculously perfect. If it had only happened the one time, I would have thought that maybe it was an accident (like perhaps it was the song after the theme song in iTunes). But two times?! Pure fucking talent. Sean, I would start looking for another co-host because I think Hayes' DJing career is about to explode. Clearly Terry is a much better performer than Trevin and can be proven thus: Times Terry sang a song originally performed by Matt Damon in the hit movie EuroTrip: 2 times (and an attempted 3rd) Times Trevin sang a song originally performed by Matt Damon in the hit movie EuroTrip: 0 times 0 times is less than 2 times, therefore Terry wins. Throwing Shade is such a great podcast, loved to hear Erin join in on the fun.

    Episode 191 β€” 2012 Holiday Spectacular

Loved this episode so much. Hearing PFT and Co. laughing in the background made it so much better. Getting offended at the SanterClanz throat-slitting part is dumb. Has absolutely nothing to do with recent events (most likely recorded before the events even happened) and was presented in a completely hilarious manner. This was a great episode.

    the hobbit

I disagree with all points. While I can understand some peoples' gripes with this movie, The Hobbit has no place on this podcast.
  11. This was a great episode. I think the episodes that focus on a particular topic/event (like the Victoria Jackson episode) are some of the best. I liked Katt Williams' stand up on Netflix, but it's not nearly good enough for him to get away with how completely off-the-rails crazy he is acting. It's like what the Sklars say, you need to have a No-Man in your posse to counteract all the Yes-Men.

    Battleship

The part of this movie that required the biggest suspension of disbelief was Rhianna being in the Navy. If you can wrap your brain around that, the rest of the movie makes perfect sense.

    What's Your Number?

I'm sure as awful as this movie is, this movie also features Thomas Lennon and Rob Huebel so they probably won't be making fun of it.

Episode 3 β€” In Search of Gear

This was a great episode and it finally included a fight! That was pretty fun to listen to. Looking forward to the next episode!

Episode 7 β€” Beat That Chocolate

Last weeks Challenge didn't provide a lot of audio-gold, so I can understand why it got skipped this week. I just want to bring up this moment: Cancun guy who isn't CJ is arguing with a drunken Marie and said she was acting corny, and her immediate comeback was the best. "YOU'RE CORNY!" Hilarious. San Diego sent St. Thomas into the arena when when the strategic choice would be to send in Brooklyn. Normally I don't like it when people play emotionally instead of smart, but even I agreed with the decision to send in St. Thomas just for the chance that Marie would get sent home.

Episode 7 β€” Beat That Chocolate

Hey guys, I just want to say thank you so much for spreading the word that just because someone has a map doesn't mean they're gay. I've heard this prejudice all my life and I'm sick of it. This podcast is on the forefront of breaking down the walls that separate us as human beings.

Episode 1 β€” Let the Game Begin!

I just finished the first episode and I really love it! I've always loved the idea of DnD, but I have never had the oppertunity or the right group of friends to play it with. I really hope this is a continual ongoing series.

Episode 6 β€” Beautiful Baked Potato

I have a new theory about this "bueller" thing. The scene is originally much longer, and it shows him saying "Bueller? Sorry, I meant to say cruller. Has anyone seen my crullers that I made for dessert?" But it's confusing for everyone because he pronounces cruller like 'cruel-er' because he's never heard it pronounced out loud before. This is the most plausible scenario I can think of to explain what happened.

    Episode 103 β€” Body Texting

I agree! There might not be enough material to fill a whole album, but Kulap had the beginings of a great song.

Episode 6 β€” Beautiful Baked Potato

I feel like whenever anyone does a particularly angry testimonial with no discernable source, two guys need to come out from behind the camera, sit down next to that person, put their arms around them and ask "Hey, you okay man?" This should be a requirement on most shows. And who's this Buella guy? Buellir? Be sure to revisit this if CJ finds this Builler guy (whoever he is). After that potata segment, I'm really hankering for a baked potata smothered with butter, sour cream, and cheese. Man, that "At least he did it for money, you do it for fun" quote really stood out to me when I saw last week's Challenge. If Frank was a calm individual instead of a rage powderkeg, that could have been a great oppertunity to explain to Nani just exactly what it means to be a homosexual male. Or maybe Nani doesn't realize that 'sex-for-fun' is slightly more common than 'sex-for-money.'

    Episode 5 β€” Prediction Time

I sure everyone is thinking the same thing right now: If Alton got booted in the most recent episode, doesn't that make the podcast's prediction wrong? INCORRECT. Remember, Alton's entire strategy was based around not caring. What's the best way to show that you don't care? LOSING. For Alton, everything is going entirely to plan right now. My prediction for the win right now is just Alton, by himself.
  22. I wouldn't say they got too much stuff wrong. Sure, they kept calling Jasper Jerome, but it's not like Jasper was a huge part of the movie. The movie is not made for people unfamiliar with the franchise. They'll introduce a character or concept and come back to it an hour or movie later and assume everyone knows exactly who/what they're talking about. Until Paul, Jason, and Doug brought it up, I had no idea that werewolves didn't age around vampires. So I had no idea Jacob was as immortal as the rest of them at this point. The movie doesn't do a good job explaining things because they assume the people watching know the source material 100%. That being said, the battle scene was one of the best battles I've ever seen. It was bananas and awesome.

    HDTGM: The Holiday Edition

I was thinking the 00s one. "There's a killer in the house and the police won't be able to get here for hours because of the snow! Heaven forbid we just walk out of the house to somewhere safe!"
  24. This was a terrific episode. Doug keeps up with Paul and Jason like a champ. I personally find Carlisle and the rest of the Cullens infinitely more interesting than Bella and Edward. Why would someone create a story filled with interesting background characters, but focus on the two most boring people ever?!

    HDTGM: The Holiday Edition

Seconded. Even when I saw that movie as a child I knew how awful it was. Going in a different direction, my nomination is Black Christmas. Pretty awful Christmas-themed slasher film that gets pretty crazy.
