    Episode 55 - Land Rover

Haven't listened to the improv section yet (Spontaneanation interview half always works out to be around as long as my morning commute), but I have to say that the entire discussion of childhood injuries and emergency room visits made me REALLY uncomfortable. Did anyone else feel this way? --CHILDHOOD INJURY TRIGGER WARNING-- When I was little, my dad had this exercise bike. I would go on it sometimes and cycle. One day, when I was riding on it, my baby brother crawled up to it and put his finger in in the spokes. It ended up ripping the tip of his little finger off (from the tip to the top knuckle). He started screaming and I saw blood on the carpet so I screamed for my mom. She came and freaked out called the doctor; we went there and then to the emergency room. I felt so horrible and my poor baby brother was in so much pain. The doctors ended up bandaging his finger up a lot and I think they closed it up with stitches. We're adults now and the end of my brother's finger looks a little funky/deformed but he doesn't remember it. I STILL think about that sometimes and I still feel awful, even though nobody in my family blames me for it at all. My parents still have that exercise bike and I still panic a little bit when my nephew and niece are visiting and go even 10 feet near it.

    Season 3: Game 1 - Pistol Shrimps 4/5/16

Glad to see PSR on Earwolf! Real ads feel weird, but I like that they're live reads that get integrated into the podcast and not drop-ins that interrupt the action. I did like the Mack Weldon riffing though. Was really into the game at the end too. What a nail-biter.
  3. "Sploosh, placenta, big ol' baby." We don't deserve Gabrus.
  4. Delightful. Please make this, at the very least, a monthly podcast.

    Episode 132 - Bloodsport: LIVE!

Official site seems to indicate it's still in post though? http://www.voltagepictures.com/details.aspx?ProjectId=3995fc72-0a97-e211-b3c9-d4ae527c3b65 They oughta get Nicole back and do an episode about Lady Bloodfight.

    Episode 409 - Man Brats

I'm in the "love it" camp too. This whole episode was hilarious. I love that Taran and Paul didn't go overboard with the tantrums too; there were certain parts where you could tell Scott was trying to goad them and they reacted like reasonable people. Made the whole thing much more engaging, waiting for those tantrums.
  7. I must have listened to this episode 3 or 4 times now. Just did another listen while driving to a St. Patty's Day party out-of-state; entire car was cracking up.
  8. This episode was wonderful. To all the performers: merci.
  9. Listened to this on the way to work this morning. Have to say, it was pretty bizarre but also quite funny. Laughed pretty hard at the bit about the psychic credentials. Sometimes the voices get lost in the sound effects though. Helping to make the voices pop out some more would be good.

    HOWL - NEW iOS App

I've got a request for a feature I'd like to see on Howl. Long-running shows like CBB often feature continuing "storylines" where we can follow certain character arcs, like Wompler and Listler, or Gilly and Garry. I would love for there to be some kind of "curated playlists" section where Earwolf staff puts together playlists of episodes that are related to each other. That way I can browse around and find something like "The Chronicles of J.W. Stillwater" and get all of the episodes where J.W. shows up, or listen to all of the Andy Daly character appearances that led up to the epic two-parter where the world was almost destroyed. I realize that I could obviously do this all myself using Howl's "playlist" feature, but it's not easy to browse episodes by guest in the app, nor is there a way to share my playlists with anyone, so I couldn't use these to recommend certain storylines to friends. Hopefully something like this can be considered. Thanks.

Episode 401 - LOVE Is Thicker Than Water

Sometimes I think to myself "man I wish Gilly could do an episode of CBB where she wasn't doing the gold-digger bit, I feel like this joke is going to wear itself out" AND THEN I LISTEN TO THE GODDAMN EPISODE AND LAUGH UNTIL I TURN BLUE Holy shit, too funny. Everyone was totally on point today.
  12. I haven't listened to the improv section yet, but I will say that the interview was absolutely awesome, and I totally agree with Emily V. with regards to E.T. I will never understand how anyone could possibly thing of E.T. as anything but horrific. He's so gross and weird looking.
  13. Got legit emotional when Listler was talking about August getting adopted.

Oh my god I completely forgot about "BANG BANG INTO YOUR MOOOOUTH~!"

    EPISODE 123 - Lifeforce

Can I just say that I've long been a fan of Henry Mancini's score to this movie, before ever actually even seeing the film? I heard "Main Title" on satellite radio once and just had to track down the entire soundtrack. It's kind of amazing that Mancini, a legendary film composer (famous for scoring "The Pink Panther" and "Breakfast at Tiffany's") did a movie like this, but apparently he did a lot of horror/sci-fi movies for Universal. It's also interesting to note that a lot of Mancini's score was cut from the final print of the movie. From the movie-wave review: And in an interesting twist, Michael Kamen was the composer for the original X-Men movie, which of course starred Patrick Stewart as Professor X!

EPISODE 120 - Masters of the Universe

I don't have anything to add about Masters, but I do want to say that I totally get where Paul is coming from with listening to movies. I have an old iPod Classic that I put a ton of movies on and on long car trips I would put these movies on and "listen" to them while driving. I probably know When Harry Met Sally and Stardust by heart at this point. There are certain movies that, once you've already seen them, they just work really well if you're just listening to them. It's a lot of fun and a good way to pass the time on long car rides. Of course, I also listen to excellent podcasts like How Did This Get Made?, but that's besides the point.

EPISODE 377 — Good Night In The Morning

So Comedy Bang Bang makes me laugh a lot when I listen to it. It's wonderfully funny every week and I can't think of an episode in recent memory that didn't make me crack up. But this? This episode is on an entirely different level. I haven't laughed this hard in years. This was like, painful, please-stop-I-can't-breath crying laughter (that sounds bad but it's not). I don't know if it was the fact that everyone on- and off-mic were also giggling uncontrollably or what, but something about this episode just made it transcendant. Too many favorite bits to name, so I'll just mention the first one that really got me laughing hard: when PFT realizes that Chazmin's voice sounds too much like Tom Leykis–or more specifically, James Adomian's impression of Leykis–and then Lauren starts doing Leykis's bit with the tongue sounds and the offending-the-opposite-sex comments. Genius.

    EPISODE 376 — Romantic Tommy D

A joking a salad, Claudia was a really good co-host. I would love for her to do her own podcast, maybe something premium on Howl.
  19. Yes! I want to see this so badly! Becca is an amazing character. I love that Marissa has this girl in her life that's basically everything she isn't, without it being an antagonistic relationship. I love how Becca kept calling Marissa out on her bullshit from a place of love. The Listler/Becca interactions were great too. It's kind of weird how as Womp It Up has progressed, Listler seems to be a little less crazy and a little more aware of Marissa's destructive behaviors; from older CBB eps, I always got the sense that some of Marissa's problems came this weird relationship with Listler, but in this show things seem to be developing in a different way. It's great how Listler was basically vetoing Becca trying to get into the STARS program, like she knows it'll be damaging to Becca's future. Very weird, very layered dynamics. I love that this show exists and that this strange mythology is getting a chance to grow and develop and breathe in all these different directions. Definitely need an episode of this show that features the return of a lot of the new characters interacting with each other. Maybe at the next birthday bash.

EPISODE 365 — Bongo vs. Bongos

Right?! I came here to say exactly that. Somehow I knew that Scott and Jason would lead Andy to where they always sort of lead him, into that disturbingly dark place. AMAZING ep, BTW. At this point "hey nongman" should have ostensibly worn itself out, but somehow it's still the most delightful thing ever.

EPISODE 363 — Wet Hot Crew

I yelled "GEORGIA!" in my car when I heard that part. Scott probably took her aside before the ep and told her "none of that wacky stuff!" Man this felt like an older episode of CBB, what with the WYR game and also Scott's total indignance at people talking over the theme. Loved it.
  22. I'm not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but one thing that always bothered me about this movie was in the end, when Shredder gets mutated by The Ooze and turns into Super Shredder, somehow his armor has also mutated. Doesn't it stand to reason that if he's being affected biologically and mutating into this beastly Super Shredder guy, it should be a Hulk situation where he outgrows his clothes? But that isn't what happens. His inorganic armor also is somehow affected by The Ooze and he ends up with all of these extra blades on his arms and shoulders. What gives?
  23. Yeah I felt like Lennon kept trying to set Eugene up for doing his "only singing the backup part" thing he did with Tito Ben. I'm glad he finally just did it. Interested in seeing if Marissa keeps up the training/workout regimen.

EPISODE 3 - Neil Casey - Spotlight On: Mr. Jordache

Never thought I'd hear about Python in a Jess and Len podcast. The scope IS defined by indentation!
  25. Are you KIDDING me with that national anthem? Oh my God that was amazing.
