I agree with your sentiment, but I wonder if maybe what made it weird is Tom Green is the kind of guy who's whole routine was being intentionally off putting and playing shit really straight so it was hard to tell if he was being genuine or if this was some kind of weird bit. I dunno, he also has a weird way of speaking that makes it hard to tell if he's fucking with you, like how he kept emphasizing that they were siberian huskys over and over. maybe his years of gotcha comedy have made me suspicious of his true intentions

yeah he was great! I hope he comes back. I met him years ago I was a PA on this web series thing he acted in, super nice guy in real life, the opposite of a lot of the douchey characters he plays. When you're basically the least important person on set you learn really quickly who the assholes are, he was a cool dude.

sometimes though I think Paul's stand up side fights his improv side and he can be a little scene hoggy, like there was a moment where I believe it was his announcer character asked his police officer character a question and I was like "come on Paul, there's 4 people in this thing, I agree your Irish child cop is very funny but you can't do that". That being said, he's hilarious, It could be a lot worse, and it is his show so, minor issue.
