Ahhhh, Wikipedia says, "Stellan John Skarsgård (Swedish pronunciation: [ˈstɛlːˈan ˈskɑːʂɡoːɖ] ( listen); born 13 June 1951), also credited as Stellar Skateboard, is a Swedish actor."

I really hope Birch Box Man includes scrunchies.

Okay, so bigger brains definitely don't just automatically mean smarter. Whales aren't smarter than humans. Crows are actually very smart. So are octopuses.

Okay, Drinkwel was the first sponsor that legit annoyed me.
1. No one with a decent diet needs a multivitamin.
2. Anything claiming to "support" any system of the body is junk. They're saying that because it means nothing legally so they can.
3. If you're not an alcoholic and drinking tons and tons every day, your liver can handle the alcohol you drink.
4. Of course, they had the Quack Miranda Warning in their copy because no one's proven their product does anything at all.
So, yeah, boo that company.

I feel like a moron. Why is it significant that the bomb counts down from 1994?
Because you can't have 94 seconds on most timers. 19:94 would be 20:34.

So I don't really watch Bond movies. Is it typical for the theme song to be played in like a midi version really quietly any time a sexy lady shows up?

I'm positive thats the pun they are trying to make but yeah it doesn't make any sense
All I could think was that was some sort of innuendo about kneeling but that's a stretch.

Maybe it's my Catholic school education, but when I heard "Jenny Flecks," I thought "genuflects," not that that makes any more sense.

When I was in high school, a teacher told us that marijuana use causes schizophrenia and that that was why her brother was schizophrenic. When I researched that idea, I found that scientists have found a correlation between marijuana use and first episodes of schizophrenia BUT the direction of the effect has not been established. In short, it's possible the people who are dealing with symptoms of schizophrenia (which would obviously be upsetting) might start using marijuana to cope with them. It might also lead to earlier onset schizophrenia but not create it out of nothing.
See:

http://ajp.psychiatryonline.org/doi/abs/10.1176/appi.ajp.2009.09030311
I'm also fairly sure that if marijuana use does have a causal relationship with schizophrenia, it's in people who are already predisposed to schizophrenia.
TL;DR: Marijuana use and schizophrenia are associated but one does not necessarily cause the other.

CORRECTIONS AND OMISSIONS
1. I think a lot of the confusion over Tara Reid's arm in the shark was that the prop arm was wayyyy more than was actually bitten off. The boyfriend's response, "They could've fixed that with a hacksaw!"
2. I don't understand the dynamic of Fin's old friends and him. "I can't believe he doesn't like me just because I got with his sister. What a douche! We got him a ticket to this game but he probably won't show! That's just like him. What an asshole! Fin's the WORST!" Why are they mad at him? Especially Judah Friedlander's character.
3. There's an amazing extra when they're running from the stadium to the subway. She's a little girl next to Fin and she's smiling her head off because she's having the most fun ever getting to run around screaming in a movie. She's having THE TIME OF HER LIFE and it's fantastic.
4. What happened to/where are Fin and Tara Reid's kids? Nova?
5. Apparently, they did crowd fund! http://www.today.com...950013#54950013

Correction on corrections:
Left Behind is not at all a Catholic movie. Catholics aren't into the rapture stuff; that's an evangelical Christian thing (and a very recent invention). I'd bet lots of people who believe in the rapture don't believe Catholics are "real" Christians.
Also: I'm curious if the movie will be as anti-Semitic as the books.
Also also: I highly recommend Daniel Radosh's book, Rapture Ready. He has a whole chapter on evangelical pop fiction.

Over 80%, according to this source.
"Thirty percent of Americans die in nursing homes, more than half die in hospitals and nearly half of those people spend their last days in intensive care units."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neko_Case
Look under "The Worse Things Get, The Harder I Fight, The Harder I Fight, The More I Love You".
You're welcome.
So you're the one who added that Neko Case was on a "controversial show" and that she later said she hadn't expected such a "confrontational interview"?
Also, you're the person who edited Jessica St. Clair's entry to add, "She is commonly known as the funniest human being on earth. Her comedy bang bang appearances are consistently rated in the top ten yearly episodes. Her character, Marrisa Wompler is referred to some in the improv world as the only thing to come close to the unattainable yet highly sought after, 'perfect' character." Awesome Wikipedia work to make the show look good!

I was just doing what he does to help prove my point. This was not a Case Closed. This was a parody of his show and nobody on his show gets to defend themselves. No one dishes it out more than him (5 eps a week?) Surely he can take one ribbing so everyone stop shariqing* so much.
And come on Mississippi, did you really Miss a level on our bit?
*Shariqing - To give oneself a orgasm by calling others racist. An addiction to a delusional feeling of being more righteous than others.
I know it wasn't a Case Closed. My point was that this is the perfect example of when it wouldn't be bullying to have a Case Closed but instead of facing off against someone you're pissed at, you dedicated an entire episode of your show to mocking him when he's on the same podcasting network as you and you're both anti-racism. Plus, you seemed to think it's racist to stereotype Southerners, as if "Southerner" were a race. Why scream about him and use the N-word to make some non-point when you're both overall on the same side? Why not do a Case Closed and argue it out instead of yelling about insults to Arkansas (especially when you shit on Mississippi)? Are you really angrier about Arkansas jokes than gay rights or racism or gun control or anything else? Because if so, that's disappointing.
As a white woman, the worst thing about racism for me is someone might think I'm being racist when I'm not. But I am at least somewhat racist at least some of the time because racism is a part of our ridiculous society that I have to work on getting de-ingrained from myself. People of color have to worry about getting killed, at the worst, and earning enough money, at the very least. So I just find it hard to feel that bad about people's fear of being called racist or insults to their regions as major problems when "1 Black Man Is Killed Every 28 Hours by Police or Vigilantes."

Hey Matt, I don't understand why you'd bring on some kid from Twitter to bully (as defined by "the Ethicist") but not actually have on Andrew Ti who's IN L.A. on the same podcasting network. This is the kind of thing that "Case Closed" is built for and he's a person who's actually at your level, which is what Randy Cohen suggested.

Andrew Ti is racist towards white people. Just listen to any episode of it all of them, they are all exactly the same. I wish Earwolf would dump YIIR but I gave up that fight a long time ago. Thank god all Matt, Matt, Paul and John understand things a little more than Andrew.
Bahahahahhahahaha, but some of his best friends are white!
P.S. Cry more.

So what. That is not still happening. It is just a word.
Are you kidding?

Intent is all that matters.
So when you step on someone's foot by mistake, instead of apologizing when they yell out in pain, you scream back at them, "GOD, I DIDN'T MEAN TO, IT'S JUST A FOOT, GET OVER IT!"?
Oh wait, intent doesn't matter.
