It's very, very weird hearing the name "Comedy Bang Bang" spoken by somebody who is using a Super Serious Voice.

Latest update: EODM tour canceled, band and crew are coming home. Another European tour will be planned later. 1-2 members of the crew may still be missing, it's hard to get accurate info. As for the audience...what happened there is a horror. Thanks to this ep of CBB, if I lived in Paris, I'd have been at that concert. So, so sad. Josh plays on the albums but not on tours.

Agree, my top two recs are Time Bobby and August Lindt. I will say this: MY first episode was Tom Leykis and Amy Poehler. I had no clue what was happening, was mildly terrified, but laughed so hard there was no turning back. On the other hand, I introduced my girl to CBB through the Tom Leykis Amy Poehler ep, and she was COMPLETELY terrified by Leykis, and never listened again. Oops. So yeah. Probably August Lindt or Time Bobby. Maybe, if you're going on a road trip, the Gillian Jacobs/Garry Marshall series.

Oops, definitely thought "The Marm of Smarm" was a new character where Lauren Lapkus plays an annoying grandma.

I just had a dream about Comedy Bang! Bang! for the first time. My old friend had gotten a job interview for some kind of education position - a support staff role, or maybe she was going to be an education lobbyist? Not sure. But the job interview was, she had to go on a LIVE podcast of Comedy Bang! Bang!, do some characters, and play Would You Rather?. Scott decided to record this episode while the two of them walked around a park together. (Judging from my friend's name, it was a Solo Tolo.) So an older, closer friend of mine, who happens to be this gal's BFF, decided that we should go to the park and crash the CBB episode. So we went and wandered around, listening to the podcast for hints of where they were and trying to find them. But they escaped us. Eventually it became clear that Scott had tied our friend up and was, in fact, kidnapping her in the middle of recording CBB. So we said, eh, fuck it, and left to find a good dessert place. - Post your dreams about Comedy Bang! Bang!

If I saw the guys in the studio photo making those same poses and faces in a dark alley at night, I would be terrified. Not Erin, though. She looks nice.

I'm pretty sure this would end badly, but it would be hilarious to hear Obama's reaction to Tom Leykis. Serious answer: Obama, Matt Walsh, Timothy Simons, and Neil Campbell. Why Neil Campbell? Because you just know the President will be in a FREESTYLE RAP BATTLE.
