  1.

I would guess a sports critic is something along the lines of a food critic.

I envisioned Ming to be something along the lines of Anton Ego from Ratatouille and Hubie Brown (who is actually an analyst, not a critic, though).

Yeah but food critics review...food. You don't really review sports :P maybe that is why Ming is so unique. analyst is a good description.

  2. lmao what the fuck is this

I was half paying attention to this ad. Like others I assumed it was some goofy podcast with Amish recipes. I dunno but then yeah...I was like this is real. I really want to know how this happened.

Regarding the podcast: hilarious. I like Aparna a lot and thought she fit in nicely with the two weirdo guests. They were hilarious. Question though: what is a sports critic, let alone an amateur one?

  3. Like? I genuinely think the ones that were nominated are considered the worst of the worst to come out this year.

Except Jupiter Ascending because I have to agree with Lando that was a really fun watch and not as bad as some of the previous Wachowski vehicles.

I agree with Sievers, they are always the most obvious choices and rarely are they commercially successful ones (hey let's nominate twilight every year!) Other choices could be Pitch Perfect 2 (this was my least favorite movie of last year, and maybe one of the worst ones I've paid money to see), Taken 3, Project almanac, and the Gunman.

  4. Oh man everyone needs to know about Teen Witch. It might have been an inspiration for Sabrina but it doesn't technically have anything to do with it. This stars Blake Lively's older sister Robin Lively and is just one of the worst movies I have ever seen and yet this scene alone (as Jason said) makes just about everything turn into total greatness.

The dark haired guy is just like some smarmy character Paul Rudd would play. I love this.

  5. I was expecting Gilbert to be overbearing in this episode after reading all of these comments but it was all overblown. Did he derail it a bit? Yeah but it was still hilarious. I loved James' off mic laughter and it reminds me how much I miss him. Trump and Bernie are great and I hope they come back soon.

I live in Iowa and we have a Culver's it's honestly pretty kickass if the right person is cooking. I normally get a double with cheese curds, then get another double, on my "cheat days"

I came to the boards just to say I love their burgers

    kthxbye

Nice if I ever see one I am definitely stopping...how is the custard?

Edit: this place is kinda sounding like shake shack to me

  7. We never found out what Todd saw on Vine!

    Also,

♫ If you wanna be my sugarbaby, don't be older than 24 ♫

You're right and it was probably something great. The last time LL mentioned an online video it was that insane grapefruit blowjob video, which is amazing.

    Great episode, I missed Todd.

Culverts sounds amazing but I'm sad to hear it might not be as good as it sounds :(

  8. Sooo does anyone happen to know where those tasty deleted scenes are that Benny was referring too?

Probably YouTube? And I think BS posts them all on website when he finds them.

I couldn't help but laugh at Horatio's off color remark when they were discussing that place in France where the naked ladies dance.

  9. I understand why Scott doesn't do b-b-b-b-b-bonus clips anymore (makes the episodes too long, would have to cut other clips, we didn't vote for those) but goodness Never the Twains Shall Meet and Romantic Tommy-D (from the titular episode) were 2 of my favorite moments of the year.

  10. I didn't expect Kid Detectives to rank so highly

I remember enjoying it and I did vote for it. It seems to have taken on a life of its own though online as many threads feature scavenger hunt/national treasure type comments.

  11. I don't know who the ding dongs were that thought Brad the man's man was supposed to be Launchpad were but they are totally wrong. He was Scrooge from the get go. Scrooge is their (grand) uncle and Launchpad isn't even related to them. When Wengert comes in the first thing he mentions are cousins and nephews so, yeah, it was Scrooge all along.

  12. No point in complaining about rankings tbh. Comedy Bang Bang The Movie was top 5 eps ever and wasn't even in the top 10 this year according to the sheeple.

And I didn't even vote for CBB the movie when I submitted my ballot! Funny how we all have differing opinions :P

All joking a salad, has anyone worn that shirt and had to explain it to people?

  13. Part of me wants to cut together just the Paul and Scott segments to listen to at a later date. So much good stuff.

I didn't vote for the HH episode but it's a good one. I forgot how much I laughed during that script reading. I'm surprised Gilly's episode wasn't higher- like top 5. Colin Hay was so great in it and dare I say that the version of Next Year People is beautiful.

  14. This was so good. I hope Hanford never stops doing this John Lennon character because it just cracks me up every...TIME. I can't say enough about how much I love this podcast and the holiday eps always add a lot of merriment to my holidays.

Has neilerdude dropped his dope Christmas rap yet?!?!?!???

I literally get excited when I wake up on a Monday and see the names Kroll & Mulaney on a CBB pidcast, because George and Gil LOOOOOVE pidcasting and shitform comedy

Granted I am a Jew by birth, and some of my affinity for George and Gil may be due to that, but my friends who are podcast heads are not so Jewy and the Oh Hello love seems to be universal among that group

I'm partial to both Kroll and Mulaney anyways, but these two are some of my favorite characs to ever appear on the show

Yup they are two of my favorite comedians and characters as well. I feel blessed that we got 2 appearances from them this year and love all the Kroll Show stuff with them. Kroll and Mulaney have such good chemistry and I think it's amazing they have managed to turn these 2 into an off Broadway show.

  16. Maaaan I liked this episode. Maybe because I just went to the long beach aquarium like a month ago and we were entertaining the notion of going to Bubba Gumps across the street. I also enjoy when Scott has a friend on the show he has personal history with cuz there are probably gonna be some dope jokes.

has anyone seen the Travel Channel series "Booze Traveler"? i have seen bits and pieces and millions of ads for it and Randy Travels sounds exactly like the host of it. It stands out because I always thought the guy had a weird accent.
