Natasha Leggero's laugh is what keeps me going in life. I hope she'll be back for next week if Ku is still gone.

In the continuing battle between HDTGM and its mortal enemy HIMYM, I think HIMYM has finally fallen as a result of its finale.

The only reason I wish this wasn't a live episode is so that they could have a good 3+ hours to talk about this film. I loved that they had to take a stop for every 5 seconds they advanced in the plot to talk about 600 crazy shit that happened in that time.

I've seen people go out that window.
Â
You have?
Â
Oh. No, I haven't.

Some of the most giddy, uncontrollable laughing I've done in a long time.
That's what I've been really loving about this podcast so far, just how funny dumb bits are. That bit and ACHTUNG baby! have been some the hardest times I've laughed in recent memory.

This is the best poster with Adam's quote I could muster

I didn't get a chance to see this movie, but from what it sounds like I understand that this movie's sole purpose is to be a vehicle for tongue-in-cheek references for Rodman's basketball career.

Am I wrong?

I loved how much fake animosity there was in this episode.
Â
"June we didn't make this movie, so stop yelling at us."
Â
"June what the fuck do you want to plug?!"
Â
I also loved how defeated June felt about the plot and characters.

While I applaud you for your work and creativity, this is fucking upsetting.

I don't think I'd ever have sex with someone with a Homestar Runner avatar.
Your loss, pal. I had the hate-sex-swing ready to go and everything.

Yeah, man, if you don't love EVERYTHING about EVERYTHING, why are you even talking?
Â
You're younger than me.
You're missing the point of what I'm saying. You're entitled to your opinion if you really do think the jokes were bad or Dan Harmon was bad or the show was bad. Who cares, that's your opinion. Your problem is that you're lobbing those opinions at people who have come together specifically to enjoy the show. It's like if you and your friends got together to talk about something, say basketball, because you all really love it then I show up and start bad mouthing it and telling you guys what a bad sport it is. You'd be pretty unhappy about that, too.
Â
Oh, right. I forgot that rule about all older people being right, infallible, and entirely superior to youngins.

I was at this taping at Largo and nearly shat myself with laughter. Zouks and Harmon were the perfect accompaniment to each other. There's nothing finer than seeing the seething rage of Zouks' face go off, especially when you know he's going to throw out a "next level bonkers" or a "fucking idiot"... it's perfection.

I wish HDTGM would do a VPN show because it really is something else to see the hosts really getting into it. The live shows are always so fun because of it.

If we're going solely by forum posts, you seem dated.
Ooh, that hurt.
Â
This forum is a place for fans of the show to discuss the podcast in a positive way, if you don't like an episode or a guest or a joke don't complain about it here, go cry in your crib and wait for your mom to change your diaper you big baby.

I think it's interesting that Mark Steven Johnson wrote both this and Daredevil, two movies that June seemed to really take a liking to.

Yeah, I know all my favorite jokes involve a man who was literally too nice to tell anyone else he was having chest pains that he was having them out of fear of worrying them and then following it up with "also, his legacy was garbage." Truly, a master of the form.
You seem fun.

It's really upsetting to hear that Kyle and Sarah are split up, and I wish them both the best.
Â
That said, I made this real quick.

Between the former life story and "...a boot?", the Angelina Wells/Stephanie Allen Tig solo episode might just be my favorite of the year
-
I just realized between this and Crossroads it's now been two movies with Sex and The City gals as a secondary character.

Here's one thing that wasn't discussed: What was the point of Matthew Broderick's son having a mid life crisis? For about 10 minutes of the movie his punchline is that he's like 10 or 12 and going through a midlife crisis. This vanishes almost immediately.

I feel so upset right now because as a child this was one of my favorite movies and watching the trailer now I'm realizing just how garbage it really is.

PB is a truly magical podcast in that not many others could play a solid 3 to 4 minutes of an audience cheering and still be hilarious. Amazing episode!

Paul, if you're reading this
- I am a him, not a her. I thought Mister Wompler would be a good hint, but all is forgiven.
- I know you were joking, but I would love to be a guest and can be reached on twitter in the .000001% chance you weren't kidding.
