So my girlfriend gave me her parent's Amazon, and I totally added a Seeso subscription to it slyfully, and been binging on that sweet sweet original programming. Ended up finding the Pistol Shrimps doc, and wow. As a fan of the podcast I knew I'd be into it (#3 Stetten is bae) but it starts off a bit slow, so I was a bit cautious. But by the end I was even a bigger fan of the Shrimps than ever before, if possible. This is great. Anyone else see this?

It's an alright movie, not great but not bad by any standard, very weak ending. Not episode worthy at all.

I just saw this video of Chelsea Peretti on Late Night and seeing her hype and excitement for this movie really charmed me, especially since she was not in it and for a second really believed she was. https://youtu.be/WVTuvI5iPB0 I was thinking that this could be like the Fasts sub-series were it is an overall positive episode where the cast with Chels discuss what they loved. I have a feeling that they would totally be into it, especially with the Rock being in the mix. And it be such a treat to have Peretti back too! I haven't seen the movie at all, so don't want to condemn it nor say it's going to be good but I think this movie with this guest are basically perfect and ready to be done into an episode, especially given the crews taste in movie (mostly involving the Rock), what y'all think?

just saw it. A joyless mess. Which sucks because the film has such promise at its start, but the minute it gets to the powers it is TERRIBLE. Based on the Ultimate Fantastic Four comics, which are amazing and some of my all time favorite i have no idea how they missed the cue to this SO HARD. I mean it takes a hard turn to shit town in seconds, it's quite astonishing honestly.

the trailer sounded out of control. Just SAW it and I don't know what the fuck to think. Biggest thing that surprised me was that this was made in 1995?!?! Also Ron Swanson wrote this movie. But under the very cunning alias of Ron SΕ΅anson. Or are we suppose to believe that this Ron SΕ΅anson is A TOTALLY DIFFERENT PERSON? A likely story.

This episode was tremendous. I was getting so emotional at work in the interview segment. I stopped it and let it play for my coworkers who also loved it. I really loved hearing about the movie that at first did not care for and now desperately want to see. And then the following guest made me cry from laughing. Weirdly when I saw the guest I was so totally unmotivated to listen to, now I think this may one of my most favorite episodes of the entire show. Just beautiful stuff. Scott was also himself in a lot of this and having so much while Bobcat might one of the smartest most emotionally mature and game guests/comedians ever. I just loved hearing about this. Just so much love, C+

I said this before but I been an Armen hater a few times on this board, he even read my comments once on air, and uh yeah I don't know I found him to be fine in this episode. He legit is trying to be a better and different host and though he'll never read this-- he's a fine guy. Previous episodes are almost damn unlistenable but the last few times he's subbed he's been pretty great I'd say. A different flavor than the immersive power of Wei Wei but not bad. I'd love to see him come back as a guest, honestly.
