    EPISODE #223 - Disclosure (1994)

Jason got it right on the Prozac gaffe. You need to take that shit daily for 4 to 6 weeks before it takes full effect, and popping a single Prozac would have negligible effect. But the really crazy thing about that mistake being in this particular movie is that Michael Crichton is a fucking doctor. If that's how he thinks Prozac works, I'm glad his books kept him away from the hospitals.

    Olympus Has Fallen

The giant summer blockbuster "Olympus Has Fallen" just started streaming on Netflix. I watched it, and it is dog shit. It starts off as an ordinary 90s-era Die Hard knockoff, but it gets stupider with every scene until you literally don't know what planet it's set on. By 20 minutes in you won't believe you're watching it. 20 more minutes and you won't be able to stop. It is a monument to everything terrible about action epics. A ridiculous plot that takes itself way too seriously, dialogue that sounds like Korean proverbs fed through Google Translate, a ham-fistedly overpowering score, and a full compliment of B-list superstars giving the worst performances of their careers. It's a major box-office hit that makes no sense from start to finish, and it's streaming on Netflix for all to enjoy. Four fucking garbage cans. You have to do it.

    Episode 70 — Gymkata: LIVE!

Great episode. I'm glad someone finally mentioned that this movie was made by the same director as Enter the Dragon, although I'm surprised it took so long. However, there is an important piece of the story that you missed. You said that the director went from working with Bruce Lee to making Gymkata. But something happened in between. When Robert Clouse made Enter the Dragon, he met funky karate master Jim Kelly. The very next movie Clouse directed was a Jim Kelly vehicle: an extremely HDTGM-worthy Karate blaxploitation flick called Black Belt Jones. And Black Belt Jones is the prequel to a little movie you may have heard of called... *****HOT POTATO!***** That's how it's done, bitches.
