  1. The music on this one was just incredibly beautiful. Made me want to listen to actual Irish folk music, but then I'd get upset there aren't any jokes.

If you do want a starting point, I recommend soundtracks to Some Mother's Son by Bill Whelan and The Brothers McMullen by Seamus Egan, plus collaborative albums by The Chieftains - Tears of Stone and Voice of Ages. Not much comedy there but it's beautiful music.

  2. I don't know if Matt and Andy actually read our posts here, but (in case they do) I just wanted to let

them know how much joy and laughter this series has brought me. I'm going to miss the ADPPP.

I can honestly say these 8 episodes made me so happy and often caused me to cry from laughing so hard.

I will support anything Matt and Andy do and I sincerely hope this is just the beginning of their work together.

It's been an amazing journey. Thanks so much for making this podcast!

Thanks for sharing this - I feel the same way. These are the first podcasts I saved for future re-listening, joined now by some of Gourley & Daly's work on other CBB & Dead Authors Podcast episodes. Someone also created this channel if you need a quick hit: https://www.youtube.com/user/BonerAneurism/videos

  3. Today's episode was a real reality (show show) check. All this time, Hayes and Sean have been providing me with invaluable information and I haven't given them one single thing in return. The way I figure it, it's high time that I stop suckin' off the Hollywood Handbook teet for free and start carrying my weight around here.

I bet they wish high time was 12:00 or that this was Europe and it was 23:59.

  4. 18:15 on the soundcloud, and hilariously followed by "I don't know why I've become Italian - it happens when I get emotional."

On a repeated listen, Kevin's "Mind Kampf" at 1:23:22 just caused laughter pains. "Yes, those are German words."

Whenever I'm feeling down I skip to around 17 minutes in and wait for HR Giger to say, "It hurts to make, hurts to keep, I'ma gonna die soon," and I feel infinitely better.

  5. Me too - I listen next to a sleeping wife and it was painful trying not to shake the bed with laughter. "Oh, Kevin" (August Lindt) and "Poor Bartleby" (Dalton Wilcox) from the Podcast Pilot Project affect me similarly.

Wow, did I ever lose it when Andy mentions that the chocolate covered girl has no idea what's happening. Thank god I was at home, if I was on the bus I wouldn't have had a chance of suppressing that laugh.
