I haven't listened to the others all the way yet - saving them for a rainy day.

Andy mentioned on the Beginnings podcast that he has a second podcast idea that would incorporate his characters, but it would be a different kind of show to ADPPP.

ps. This podcast made me aware of Matt Gourley as one of the funniest, most versatile, dudes on the internet. I hadn't heard of him before and I've now tracked down all of the superego stuff and started James Bonding.
Β
My other favorite Gourley performances are as
& Wilhelm Grimm on DeadAuthorsPod. Andy Daly as DeSade on Dead Authors is also hilarious. Is Coy here?- 1

The music on this one was just incredibly beautiful. Made me want to listen to actual Irish folk music, but then I'd get upset there aren't any jokes.
If you do want a starting point, I recommend soundtracks to Some Mother's Son by Bill Whelan and The Brothers McMullen by Seamus Egan, plus collaborative albums by The Chieftains - Tears of Stone and Voice of Ages. Not much comedy there but it's beautiful music.

Johnny McGory was a thing before Andy Daly? Who knew?

Anyways, "I'll tell you a story about Johnny McGory" has become my mantra in stressful situations.

If you like the songs, they're downloadable at the Superego Soundcloud:

As a native Irishman, the last one brings tears to my eyes. Because of Patrick McMahon's shitty verse.

In the event that you haven't heard it yet, Comedy Bang Bang Episode 274 serves as a great digestif for ADPPP S1.

I don't know if Matt and Andy actually read our posts here, but (in case they do) I just wanted to let
them know how much joy and laughter this series has brought me. I'm going to miss the ADPPP.
I can honestly say these 8 episodes made me so happy and often caused me to cry from laughing so hard.
I will support anything Matt and Andy do and I sincerely hope this is just the beginning of their work together.
It's been an amazing journey. Thanks so much for making this podcast!

Thanks for sharing this - I feel the same way. These are the first podcasts I saved for future re-listening, joined now by some of Gourley & Daly's work on other CBB & Dead Authors Podcast episodes. Someone also created this channel if you need a quick hit: https://www.youtube.com/user/BonerAneurism/videos

Today's episode was a real reality (show show) check. All this time, Hayes and Sean have been providing me with invaluable information and I haven't given them one single thing in return. The way I figure it, it's high time that I stop suckin' off the Hollywood Handbook teet for free and start carrying my weight around here.

I bet they wish high time was 12:00 or that this was Europe and it was 23:59.

This who appreciated Giger should check out the similar sounding and similarly hilarious Wilhelm Grimm on

18:15 on the soundcloud, and hilariously followed by "I don't know why I've become Italian - it happens when I get emotional."

On a repeated listen, Kevin's "Mind Kampf" at 1:23:22 just caused laughter pains. "Yes, those are German words."
Whenever I'm feeling down I skip to around 17 minutes in and wait for HR Giger to say, "It hurts to make, hurts to keep, I'ma gonna die soon," and I feel infinitely better.

Me too - I listen next to a sleeping wife and it was painful trying not to shake the bed with laughter. "Oh, Kevin" (August Lindt) and "Poor Bartleby" (Dalton Wilcox) from the Podcast Pilot Project affect me similarly.
Β
Wow, did I ever lose it when Andy mentions that the chocolate covered girl has no idea what's happening. Thank god I was at home, if I was on the bus I wouldn't have had a chance of suppressing that laugh.

The Don DiMello episode of Andy Daly's Pilot Project Podcast brought me here, and I am so glad it did. Best episode of CBB I've heard so far - hope we get more #CactusTony!
-
This is my first introduction to Giger, and dear god that might be the funniest character I've ever heard. I fucking love this episode and I'm going to share it with everyone I know. Thank you for making this show, Andy.
Me too - quickly sought out earlier recordings featuring Giger.

Thanks to Hayes & Sean for introducing the talented Andy Daly to the world. His presentation of The Wit and Wisdom of the West with Dalton Wilcox is the funniest 2 hours in the history of the world. Didn't think it could live up to the 2 months of advertising but Boy Howdy, it did!ox
-
I have not laughed this much ever - please give Dalton Wilcox a regular show. Otherwise, the vampires, werewolves, frankenstein, jersey devils, jekyll & hyde and the talking chipmunks win.

I love that Earwolf makes some highlights downloadable at Soundcloud. Here's "Are you smarter than a room full of poisonous snakes?"
