    Halloween III - Dr. Sexy

It was a compliment about her energy level, he knew full well she was over 18, he just wanted to be a bit more creepy.

    DOA: Dead or Alive (2006)

I remember watching this, but don't remember anything about it, other than it was pretty crap but had a kind of interesting look (kinda reminded me of some Japanese movies like Yatterman, where things just kind of weirdly visually pop.) So I'm rewatching this and it really is a way dumber Mortal Kombat, except with crappy wire-fu, crappy beach volleyball, extra crappy plot, lots of crappy sound effects, lots of crappy special effect shots, and lots of stupidly forced panty shots. I like how all these people just take for granted a big ass shuriken arrives and stabs into their motorcycles, hang gliders and stuff, and is like 'oh yeah, the DOA thing, of course.' The tournament structure doesnt really work, because when it comes down to just the 3 main girls and the random ninja guy, theres plenty of other fighters that should still be in it (that max guy won his fight with random Bison wannabe, and since hes still there when it shows its down to the 4, he should still be in the tournament) Also holy crap those glasses are the dumbest thing ever, I thought the point was to download their fighting prowess into that guy and download it into his mind...but no, he just gets like a little video predicting what the person hes fighting might do, and that somehow makes him invincible. lol, and holy shit, he's just gonna sell the tech to random evil bad people to make crappy super soldiers, like the mad scientist from Batman and Robin. LOL, and the guy is going to bring the CIA in by...calling someone he knows and has prepped to storm in? Using a radio to contact some CIA assets which might have already been investigating? nope...just going to the CIA website and using their 'contact us' form. Which of course his computer system is already way ahead of him on, because the bad guy gets a prompt that the CIA has been alerted like its a big deal.

Where did the back log go?

Have you tried right clicking on the shows entry in itunes and hitting "Show Old Episodes"? That might fetch a list of all episodes currently on the feed. *edit - OK i just did that, and it grabbed the list to download all episodes, even those I had previously deleted (as I archive them onto my server.)

    Mystery Science Theater 3000

The live Cinematic Titanics are the best ones, I never really liked their other ones (the only real exception being Legacy of Blood which was a good non-live one.) The other ones just felt kinda sedated, and had too many visual gags that didn't work and seemed forced. Since its Halloween time, and HDTGM are tackling it, theres a real good iriff group which took on Halloween 3 - http://hor-riff-ic.com/2013/04/24/halloween-iii/ (they also did Sleepaway Camp.) Thanks to them I've seen that movie at least 20 times, and have heard that jingle way more times than is recommended by the FDA.

    Episode 73.5 — Minisode 73.5

Its anything but scary, it mostly involves a doughy guy drunkenly staggering around being vaguely menaced by guys in business suits. Its only real horror moments are more attempts to gross you out by making bugs crawl out of peoples heads which turned to obvious fakey clay figures (which only happens to people who have spent the entirety of their screen time trying their darndest to annoy everyone.)

One of the quotes from Troll 2 which me and my friends kinda quote often, is "Nilbog...ITS GOBLIN SPELLED BACKWARDS!" (although replace Nilbog with whatever random word we're applying it to)
  7. Just watched it, its filthy.

    Congo - 3rd Expedition

Totally sure, its a breakdown of communications. Mitchell lost communications with the Amy crew, as far as he knew they were dead, when it turned out they were alive, he informed them of something that he would have no reason to think they would know (that he sent another expedition, which he couldnt have told her earlier, since the whole reason he sent them is communications were cut off and it looked like she was dead). The plane was most definitely related, since there was the travicom balloon inside it, Laura Linney makes a comment (either when they first see the plane, or when they come across the wreckage) that he must have sent another expedition.

    Congo - 3rd Expedition

That was talking about the one that got shot down. Their transmission got cut off because Amy knocked down the transmitter which was made out of marzipan and balsa wood, which Mitchell thought meant she was being killed by grey gorillas. So he sent another crew of people to their death, which the expedition the movie's about saw getting shot down.

The Bat: pretty much anything Lizzy says. "A spiritualist once told me ghost was allergic to me, but this bat feller..i spose he'd be differnt." "Some of them bats is rabid" "Theres a storm comin' up and its gonna be a snorter" The rest are things that have kinda wormed their way into my vocabulary as valid phrases to say/think often Indiana Jones and the kingdom of the crystal skull labeouf: "Its just a thing" Cool as Ice: "yep yep" (don't know why, but since seeing that movie like 10 times, its like lodged in my head, I only think it though and so far havent said it.) Birdemic: "soderpanners" "ill give you that plus a 50% discount" Sleepaway Camp: "I gotta take a wicked dump" "You little schemers!" "hmm hmm hm HMMMM, hm hmmm HMMM HMMM" The Room: (well pretty much everything from the room, but mostly) - "oh hai, ______" Also, I can't hear "Beverly hills" without immediately appending in my mind "emergencssyssservices are second to none" thanks to Sharknado

    Episode 73 — Congo

There was, Jason compared it to some kid who was used to being molested. (like "lets play the tickle game" or whatever.) It was in the discussion about how the love story is between Peter and Amy.

    Episode 73 — Congo

Thats what happened, it was on a tripod (which was part of the satellite phone, I believe, and had its own motors and stuff to get it into position), not her shoulder. Although its kind of explained stupidly, "what would happen to the satellite if I put its phone number in this laser and pull the trigger...The chip from the transmitter has the satellite's number, doesn't it"

    Episode 73 — Congo

Well the sequel is Peter misses Amy so much they mount another expedition to get her back, he has to win her over from the silverback by using the stolen communications laser, but because they can't find any blue diamonds he uses the engagement ring he bought her to fire the laser which tears a hole in space/time and they end up in the past, to the time of King Solomon, him and Amy have a baby, which turns out grey and after a brief Problem Child/Dennis the Menace phase turns murderous, and they punish it by making it guard the mines...

    Episode 73 — Congo

Well with shooting the rockets, what they were going for is that they're heat seekers (thus go for the flares, you can see they change direction into them.) So its not about her aim, just have to get it close enough for the missile to go for it like a decoy. Of course that doesn't really explain why the first couple missiles missed so that they can then have to time to recognize they were being shot at and they need to do something about it. Maybe they started out with shooting regular RPGs and then switched to the heat seekers after they missed and decided they really wanted to spend a lot of money and energy downing that random plane?
  15. Also all of them kept the tag on, because im sure it wouldnt be the first thing they do to remove the giant probably uncomfortable logo. I like that on a somewhat impromptu trip, with only a very tiny case as luggage, and immediately after her father died, the woman managed to pack her sexy lingere.

    Bad Halloween Movies!

I've seen the movie about 3 or 4 times, and I honestly couldnt tell you. The murderer may be all or nothing, at one point its a ghost, but that turns out to be a side effect of the thought transference micro chip the 2 people are using to tap into one womans psychic vision of another murder which may or may not have actually happened, because that might have "all been a dream" but then again it wasnt because it happens again but not quite the same way and then the murderer is there but he's a real person and the ghost is now a good guy who saves the 2 stupid people. But then again the thought transfer chips may not even be real so they wouldnt have been able to see the first murder, but the first murder actually took place like they showed, unless it didn't even though they said it did, or something... All I can definitively say about this film is that the FBI agent, who shows up twice and does nothing, has parkinson's. Oh, i suppose the other i can definitively say about it, is that its bad. Very very bad, and not in a fun way either. It drags on forever, you can hardly hear/understand most dialog (and theres extended periods of time youre basically watching a screensaver) and the whole thing makes zero sense.

    Bad Halloween Movies!

Frogs (1972) - Pre-moustache and only grizzled on the inside Sam Elliot stars as Picket Smith, who must help a group of annoying rich people against a horde of killer frogs (except the frogs never kill anyone.) My Bloody Valentine - kinda Frid-eh The 13th (cause its canadian...) they have their "Ned", guy in a mask, etc. After Last Season - ... theres "Troll 2/Birdemic/Room" level bad, and then theres....this....I suppose its supposed to be a horror since theres like a psychic ghost murderer.

    Furious 7

I just watched Tokyo Drift yesterday...personally I think it has both the worst and least plot of any of the "Fasts" (I've not seen the 2nd though), and the only character worth anything was Han. Overall, it was actually pretty boring*. Probably the only insight watching it would give into 7 is if they really want to know where the stupid white redneck came from, but it'll probably be explained as much as it needs to anyway when they meet in 7 since he'll be new to the characters too. *just my opinion
