Episode 202 β€” Truly Great Friends!

I never listened to this show before this episode, but this was really entertaining I will keep listening in the future. Keep up the great work!
  2. Great show guys. I forgive you for stealing all of the best Nelson Mandela/Paul Walker jokes from the forums and then pretending that you didn't read them. It was a silent nod to how funny everyone in here has been lately
  3. Don't worry y'all, Sean and Hayes (or "Hayes and Sean" as I like to call them) are just setting us up for the "wow" moment tomorrow. They have been reading this the whole time and they are planning on taking names and giving those names shout outs. I heard that they had to keep quiet because this next guest is, how do you say, a certain leader of the free world: Mr. Kim Jong-un
  4. This one was another really good deconstruction of seemingly normal notions. I think about the themes from these podcasts a lot, and I think that eventually, you will be able to have a common theme running through them. It would be awesome if you guys kept dismantling everything that people kind of take for granted as the "way things are."
  5. I agree that Nelson Mandela truly was a gorgeous man.

    Harris, please read this.

Don't be a dick. There is no way to use the phrase "huge faggot" endearingly. Even in you and Scott were both gay, that is still a dickish thing to say. You should change your account name to Richard Dickens.
  7. Watching "fΓΊtbol" is certainly not hipster. I think that it is more hipster to hate it since the rest of the world is clearly on board with the sport. I'm on your side buddy. I already bought our tickets to the VIP box in Brazil this summer.

Episode 260 β€” Tiny Cheeseburger Story

This episode was actually too funny. Gino = best intern ever. I almost laughed too hard when Victor was trying to sing. It was actually painful.

    Wait, whuuuuuuuuuut?!?

I thought that he was going by Andrew now?
  10. ....getting a bit awkward in here....
  11. Sigh....guys, please listen up. I was just hanging out with Sean and Hayes for Thanksgiving (as proven earlier), and there is no abuse going on. Hayes has just been honing his skills in a certain hobby that has left him with a scratch or two from time to time. I know this because I actually saw it with my own eyes. Let's just say the first two rules of his new hobby is that you do not talk about his new hobby. Don't ruin this for him, guys.
  12. Obvious fakes. These don't even have Hayes's tribal Maori half sleeves. He always keeps them covered unless he is going into battle.
  13. Surprising little dig against gay marriage in the beginning of the show. It allllllmost made it seem like Sean and Hayes actually read the forums this past week and saw how bumpin' things have been in here. Interesting choice to throw Chanson a little easter egg like that. It was probably a coincidence.
  14. I think that Liana justified why she didn't like the beatles, but she did not in any way prove that they sucked. Millions of people don't like things that suck, those many people like it for a reason, even if the reason is super simplistic. The same goes for Bieber and any other performer who appeals to young people. His appeal was very specific, but he obviously didn't suck at appealing to tweens. Music tastes grow and evolve over time. There are timeless songs from most artists, but in general some music won't be as appealing as it was when you listened to it years ago. In conclusion, the beatles are not terrible, just terrible to Liana.
  15. So if you encountered one of these tentacle monsters, wouldn't it be more logical to have an easy access velcro butt-flap?
  16. But wouldn't that mean that they just like other aliens anyway?

    Episode 76.5 β€” Minisode 76.5

I guess it was just weird seeing Bruce Willis in a movie like this because I think that most people choose to only remember him as John McClane (including me). I think that the movie should have committed a bit harder to the comedy aspects of the film rather than spend so much time making him seem cool in the beginning. Listening to your rationale, the movie only seems as terrible as it does compared to modern standards. The early 90s was an awkward time for movies, especially since there was such a definitive feel to the 80s. I guess I just saw what this movie could be if it were made today, but viewing it in perspective it really isn't a horrible movie. You actually changed my opinion on this movie. That was pretty impressive.

    Tarzan (2013)

Well, this movie was comparatively dirt cheap to produce, they don't have any notable actors to pay for in the cast, and they are riding the surplus wave of digitally animated movies. @Shannon- I feel like they wanted to get an Avatar kind of feel to remind people of a movie that was maybe worth paying to see. They are trying pretty hard to appeal to the widest demographic possible.
  19. My first Paul Walken memory was "FF1" as well. He inspired me to do some pretty reckless things in 91 Honda CRX hatchback (common theme). I feel like I can't come up with anything to say about what happened to him without it sounding like a joke just because of the way that it all went down, but I did love hating him too and it sucks that he went out that way.

    Episode 67 β€” Happy Thanksgivingkkah

...Then again, maybe when I wrote "much larger," I should have written "at least one other person who isn't gay and/or Jewish."

What was there that you enjoyed? The flaws are the only thing that made this movie even remotely enjoyable.
  22. Hey Chanson, I have never thought about saying "you've been Hayesed" after making a mean joke. I typically tend to say more zingers in my daily life, so I more frequently use the expression, "Boom! You've just been Seannihilated." in my casual conversations. I guess it's the same concept though.

    Episode 282 β€” The N-word During Sex

Why are you imposing a personality on this girl for no reason? I could see if she is the one who requested to call her boyfriend that, but you don't know anything about this girl other than her having a guy asking her to say that. Your theory of like attracting like makes no sense in this example.
  24. Was I the only one who thought that it was funnier that they all believed that Major Lazer is one guy?... because it is definitely 2 people.

    Episode 76.5 β€” Minisode 76.5

This movie almost numbed my brain. I have 3 pages of notes because the things that happened were so BIZARRE! I feel like they would have to do a 2-hour show on this movie, because I have 3 pages of notes on my own. There cannot possibly be a serious 5-star review for this movie.
