  1. I hate to say it, but this is exactly how you DON'T interview fascists and white supremacists. This sort of interview is just what they want - a lot of time for them to spew their contradictory bigoted nonsense, and trying to untie it all to debunk it live and in the moment is damn near impossible. If they come out of things looking even just a bit sillier and dumber than the person trying to argue with them then they have *still* won, and you've done them a service by helping to legitimize their views.

I disagree. You need to at least expose these people to different ideas and view points otherwise both sides remain in echo chambers. We can't completely ignore and write off these people. Often by letting someone like this guy open his mouth, he will say something stupid. Bill Maher did a good job of this with Milo Y. last year: let him speak and eventually he will say something so dumb it will invalidate all his other points.

That said, Besser and the others missed a few opportunities to attack this guy's faulty logic. You point out the contradiction in his merit-based ideas, which definitely should have been hammered home. He should have also been grilled about the African slave trade and western corruption. I really liked Besser's mention of Dubai's tall buildings and wanted him to continue with that line of questioning, i.e., if tall buildings mean the country isn't a shit hole then the U.A.E. and China are the two greatest countries. Why doesn't he want to leave Mississippi and live there? I'm sure he would say something about freedom... so you eventually get him to articulate what makes a great country and what makes a shit hole.

  2. I love that these holiday shows are getting more chaotic every year. Next year's episode will be 2 hours of everyone talking at the same time with Jason and PFT laughing constantly.

This line had me crying from laughter:

"So now we're just exploring with Ming and Keith? At what point do the other 10 people in the room start participating?"

  3. I enjoy the 420 episodes so much. This one was especially bonkers. Wonder what strain they had...

If we are doing a best of 420, the shit ghost/Japanese businessman/strip club run has to be on there. Horatio as the Japanese guy kills me every time.

Also, I love the "end simulation" cut Besser does. Reminded me of the classic Brett Gelman Dennis Franz scene. One of my all-time favorites!

  4. What sort of a fucking company is 'Dirty Lemon' lol

It actually annoys me that Scott and Earwolf shill this snakeoil. I get that they need ad venue, but a "functional beverage brand that optimizes various areas of your life... that actually works." Seriously?

  5. I really hope Willy joins Victor and Tiny at Caesar's Palace for their bit.

Crowd: *Victor and Tiny and Willy*

Crowd: *Victor and Tiny and Willy*

Crowd: *Victor and Tiny and Willy*

    **Trumpets play**

[Victor, Tiny and Willy enter on separate chariots]

[All three walk up to microphone and look at each other]

[Victor pretends to be scared and walks away. Tiny and Willy convince him to stay]

    Tiny: Hey how you doing?

Victor: I'm good. How was your day?

Tiny: I'm good. How was your day?

Willy: I'm good. How was your day?

Victor: What did you have for lunch?

    Tiny: I had apple pie.

(then the bit goes on from there)

  6. On a second listen I realized what it was that felt off in this episode- Andy Daly isn't constantly being thrown premise breaking curveballs. It gives his performance a 'braced' quality, like trying to pet a dog that's used to being hit. I hope it doesn't let him think he can relax when he does another episode with Zouks.

    This guy gets it.

Every Monday I pray to satan that the new CBB is the next Daly & Zouks episode.

  7. I was impressed by how funny Mike and Steve(x2) were. They fit in perfectly! C+!

I'm curious.... how many CBB fans were big emo fans in the 90s? I loved AF, Owen, Mineral, The Promise Ring, Texas is the Reason, Cap'n Jazz... all that nonsense. Does the emo/comedy venn diagram have a huge overlap?

  8. I think my all-time favorite Mookie scene is the Indian man who gets turned on watching women eat mangoes.

But yes, this episode was great. And I also wish Gil was on the show more. He's hilarious.

Yes! That mango bit is a personal favorite of mine. I always think of it when people tell me how much they enjoy

mangoes. For some reason I thought the creepy mango guy was Wengert.

    Great episode!

  9. This episode was way too funny, it took me an extra 30 minutes to listen cause I had to keep pausing and rewinding from laughing too hard... also I listened to the oompa loompa scene twice

    WITH CAN-DY!

Haven't listened yet (saving it for when I get home tonight!) but I'm thrilled to hear there's another oompa loompa scene. The episode with Matt as an oompa loompa at school with Andy Daly ("SLUGWORTH!!") was one of my favorites!

  10.

It was after the cutoff for Best Ofs last year. I'm really hoping people remember it, when the 2014 voting comes around, because it was so amazing.

Good to know! Thanks for the info. I will now make a donation to the adult freckle foundation in your name.
