  1. I'm liking the sports talk. Seems like a lot of podcasts shy away from it, glad you guys don't. Andrew was a great guest. If I'm not mistaken, he was on the Meltdown this passed season and he did a bit that was funny, but you could tell it had most of the crowd frozen in politically-correct awkwardness. I'm not going to spoil it. It was like Mr. Santino wanted the laugh, but he also welcomed that awkwardness from the audience. Stopped in Pittsburgh earlier this year, so I'm glad you all brought up PNC Park. Usually you see it from the inside the park looking out onto the city - it's a great view! (The last time I saw the Pirates play in Pittsburgh it was in the Three Rivers Stadium. Think Barry Bonds, Andy Van Slyke...) Anyhoo back to this year, the outside of the stadium has Pirate legends in bronze statues, Stargell, Clemente... Along the river side of the stadium, they leave the walkway open, it's so great! It's like being a kid looking through a knot hole. Nothing going on this day, just stopped by as I was flying out of Pittsburgh. https://flic.kr/p/usQdkZ (hopefully that link works) Walk a little further along the river, and you come upon Heinz Field. If you haven't done one of your videos of the city of Pittsburgh, you really should. Forget about the cliche steel mill and sandwich shots, MNF has done that to death. There is so much sports history within just couple blocks. Henderson!
  2. It's all good, I have a wife & kid and my phone never stops. off tangent, my daughter is twelve, and I still turn into a hand-wringing grandma anytime she gets a fever. Couple that with a wife that is a Cubs fan, and it makes me want to toss my phone out.
  3. Great guest, Kyle sounds like the long lost Sklar triplet (TripLar Sklarplet?). The boys have been good on the Red Octobers lately, but I had my earbuds in and caught one ping.

EPISODE 254 — We Go to Space to Come Right Back

is there something missing in the Howard & Kulap dynamic these past few months? I'm probably imagining it.

    EPISODE 253.5 — 10/09/15 TWO CHARTED 192

See what happens when I shut down pepperjackhymen.com? Scripps all but kills off the podcast! I blame myself. But seriously, big ups to Scotty's ex-girlfriend. Who Charted/Two Charted is a piece to a bigger career pie. I'd like to think that the powers-that-be see that Kulap has a large group of followers, supporters, friends and backers, and that is helping leverage this new career prospect for her. Who Charted/Two Charted has changed over time, there might be some hiccups in the new format, but the crew knows how to tweak things, so I'm confident that the change will sort itself out to our satisfaction. Congratulations Kulap!

    EPISODE 253 — Muckraking

Had no idea there was a controversy. My two cents? Loved the guest. Ravi came in and mixed it up. He pried at the dried-paintcan-lid which is Howard's life. Ravi was also on Pete Holmes' podcast, and from what Ravi was saying, he also had to do another podcast that day. Each podcast has it's own ad placement for the guest, so Ravi getting his out of the way was a no problemo. That is why he is on the show. A guy like Ravi, get's Howard's energy up. I like when Howard has to increase his pace. The show didn't wane, and if I can add, it was one of the longer eps in recent history. Great energy. Lively discussion. MORE POSITIVE WORDS INSERTED HERE!

    EPISODE 271 — Muskot Love

We talkin' about The Cobra, we talking about Dave Parker? I'm originally from PA, and grew up a Pirates fan. Jump forward in time, the wife and I are at a dog track in Florida and I'm wearing a Pirates cap. I look down the benches, see a big family, and the one guy looks like Dave Parker. I ask the wife, if she thought it could be Dave Parker. My wife looks at me like I'm talking in tongues. She is from Chicago, and has no idea who Dave Parker is. Every few minutes I look down the bench towards the family, and I swear they are looking back at me. The wife tells me to stop looking, because I'm obviously creeping these people out. With each race that occurs, the guy that looks like Dave Parker walks past me and I turn into a silent munk. Dave Parker walks away, and I scurry down the bench to see if somebody else in his group can confirm that it is Dave Parker. Before I can ask my question, a gentleman in his group says to me, "yeah, it's really Dave Parker, and he's wondering when you are going to come over." Eventually Dave returns to his family, and I go to meet and talk to him for a few minutes. Nice guy. He was with his family, he could have told me to instantly go away, but he was very gracious. Another time, because of where I worked at the time, I got to meet Lou Brock. Who was also awesome. But I'll have to wait until Lou is brought up on the podcast to tell my fanboy story about the time I met Lou Brock. Henderson!

    EPISODE 269.5 — SKLARBRO COUNTY 174

The Sklarboard is mostly populated with the sound of crickets. Heck, get an engineer on here to say something, or DVK. Factor in that the latest eps have been recorded in advance or out of order, it's hard to say what they read, that they appreciated. Now back to the usual state of the Sklarboard

    EPISODE 269.5 — SKLARBRO COUNTY 174

Gondelman is quick. As soon as the boys finish a sentence, he is already coming back with fresh zing! But yeah, we talkin' 'bout practice.
  14. Earwolf may want me to take this down, and I will if they say the word. But I did edit out just the "You are a baby, but you're growing up strong." If anybody wants to use it.
  15. I thought my day had peaked when I got my flu shot, but that birthday song rules! omfg NTS: go home tonight and edit out the "YOU ARE A BABY, BUT YOU'RE GROWING UP STRONG!" and make that my new ring tone.

    EPISODE 268 — Skittle Seduction

Given the past shame & humiliation gambling brought to baseball, that is the reason Pete Rose is not in the HOF. It is the signal to all employees of pro baseball to not align themselves with gambling. He broke the rules, by breaking the purity of the sport. Pete Rose's behavior is not forgiven simply because others have broken the rules. There will always be cheats, but those cheats don't magically absolve Pete Rose of his tampering. If he had gambled on baseball after he retired, who would care? Nobody. He wore the same uniform as a manager that he wore as a player, there was no distance from the game. As a manager he was in a better position to manipulate the game(s), than he would if he were just a player. When he gambled on baseball, he was able to adjust his pitching/lineups so that it would impact other teams to adjust their pitching and lineups. This could impact games a week in advance. Mind you, Pete Rose didn't have to win his bets. The impact on the game, was him adjusting his lineups to lean the laws of probability in a direction that would be profitable for his bets. He should not be awarded the HOF, because his crime is akin to insider trading and stock manipulation. The idea that his hit production & sliding headfirst into third should override his ban from the HOF is broken logic. 3,000+ hits doesn't mean you get a free pass. You still have to live within the same rules as those batting below the Mendoza Line. And if you have ever met the guy, like I have, you will soon find out what a disgusting individual Pete Rose is. You got it wrong Sklar Buddies. xoxo Henderson!
  17. Why are we not talking about Garon's hair?
  18. This was a Sklar Bros vs Rapaport full court press. And Rapaport dunked on the Sklars, he grabbed rebounds from the Sklars, he was draining 3's versus the Sklars. I dare say that even if it was Sklars + DVK vs Rapaport, Rapaport would still come out on top. Spoiler That moment when Rapaport asks the Sklars if their wives ever mix them up was epic. Gold medal boys, well done! #GetRapaportBack

    Episode 1702 - Adam Pally

    Pally seemed beat.
  21. Oh geesh, 17 Altamont.
  22. I watched it. I spent a couple minutes of brain power wondering why the planets were listed in that particular order on the board, and I don't think it was a factor. (unless it had to do with the position of the last message.) Jimmy reading the riot act over the planet Uranus was a nice add. He mentioned it previously, but the ending of the show is awkward. They release the people and roll credits, it's a too abrupt way to end a show.

    EPISODE 264 — H2 Hell No

ping ping ping I think I counted six phone pings, there could've been more.
  24. The Cajun Jimmy picture looks better than the Tom Brady courtroom picture!
  25. Holy crapola, Urbaniak was part of the Wassssup ads! The talk about Hee Haw brought back a memory from my army basic training. So I'm in basic, which means do what you are told, stay out of trouble. I'm off in my corner of the barracks, and I hear the drill sergeant screaming out my name. "ORIGAMI MAMI, POST!" Meaning, drop everything, run to him, and once I'm in front of him get into the position of attention, and yell "Private Origami Mami reporting!" I run into his room, and he's sitting around a 13" B&W TV with the other drills, and I realize I'm overmatched, and they are all going to tear into me for whatever I may have done. I report, the drill without standing up or looking at me says, "you're from Altoona aren't you?" Me, "YES DRILL SERGEANT!" (Because you always have to yell.) Him, "they just saluted your hometown on Hee Haw." Then, "you can leave now." As I perform my about-face and run away, I hear the other drill sergeants laughing. Damn you Pardo for making me relive that inane moment in my life.
