I really like it, at first I wasn't into it but it's grown on me and the story behind it is amazing.
Â
TLDR It's good now
It's good now

Well it's true Russian facts and we're going downtown...
Going to Leningrad now...
Everybody do your facts, grab a sickle and hammer
There's lots of vodka and glitz and glamour.
Â
(That was terrible, I'm sorry.)
Â
Hit a mink with a club
Then go walk in front of Bolshoi Theatre
Take out your schnitzel!
Check out facts, is true Russian facts, comrade!
Just wanted to say well done on this.^
I really hope Scott has Craig and/or Andy sing this.

After listening to this, I can't help but be sad I got tickets for the early show. But, at least I got to say "hey nong man" to Scotty at the meet and greet.

From the dumb dumb at table 7.

I can't believe they taped this on March 9th!

Thank you Gino and CBB, I needed a new display name!
My problem (great joy) is that at work, I have a student from Singapore named Sem, who we affectionately refer to as Sem Dog.

This episode has become part of my Sunday night, washing the dishes routine. By Sunday I've listened to all the new podcast eps in my queue and I inevitably turn to this old friend. It never stops being funny. I really hope we get a new UTU2TM? soon. The world needs it.

Might just want to keep your eyes on stubhub then, I can't see anyone spending more than face value for this let alone THAT much more, unless they're obscenely rich and really lazy
Yeah, I echo this sentiment. The cheapest ticket on StubHub currently, is $120. I can't imagine someone paying 250% of the face value of the ticket. I'd check back in a month to see.

Â
well Suze Orman wouldn't approve your buying of tickets but she wouldn't for me either, we're in that second row of tables. I hope they keep the reverb in check
Â
If I understand that ticket info right, I'm at table 8
First she wouldn't let me buy a motorcycle, now this?!? I'll be right next door at table 7. I didn't realize the Wilbur was family style.

Me too, will be my first time sitting at the tables near the front of the Wilbur, can't wait!
Same here, I got in there early and snagged floor seats. They aren't front row, center. But, I'll make an exception for this one show. I'll be the guy in the green "all joking a salad" shirt.

Got 2 tickets to the Boston show. I can't wait to watch my wiiiiiife not laugh.

Boston show at the Wilbur update CBB-heads, I've gotten their email and the code is CC10
Â
That's odd as they tweeted WT10 as the code this morning. I'd say, enter both...at the same time. Double the promo code, double the fun.

If one of these chicken shit candidates does not come forward and speak the truth regarding federal sunglasses law, I am simply not voting.

This isn't Serial. But, it is a podcast.

He can still make me laugh, but Gilbert reminded me of the cliche misogynist/racist older relative everyone has. While I believe some of it is him doing "taboo is funny" schtick, I also felt other moments were genuine. It was the genuine moments that made me cringe. Still a great bbbbbooonussssssss ep. So nice to hear Jimmy A. again.

did sam ever check on who angrily knocked on the door?
I got the impression it was Wengert coming in too early, and you can hear a lighter knock a little bit later. Maybe it was PFT hoping to stop in as Jarles. In any case, I'd also love to know if there's an explanation.
I don't think any of us will sleep until the knockers are caught and exposed on these very boards

New CBBTV band leader announcement? I better get to work as soon as possible so I can hear this. Is it Thedge? I hope it's Thedege.
I'd take Bonobos, Adam Clay 2000 lbs, or Larry Mullen Sr.'s son too. The smart money is on Gabe Kaplan.

Episode 517 - Aha Moments with The National
in Comedy Bang Bang
Posted
I can't believe Scott asked if the interview was an "A+." Did he think the boys from The National were ignorant to the fact that C+ is the highest grade possible? For shame, Scott.
