  1. Hey just wanna give a handy tip to new listeners;

Sean Clements was a guest on a podcast called Don't Get Me Started, where he talks about how much he loves the Mountain Goats for a while and it's great. So he's obviously the one wearing the Mountain Goats t-shirt in the pictures from this episode, just in case you didn't know who was who yet.

  2. I've been trying to sign up for Howl for the last few days but cannot get my free premium trial started. Keep getting this message after I enter my details.

Putting aside other frustrations with the Howl change, it's weird that the app was released without being functional. Frustrating, would love to hear the new mini series but am unable to start my premium account as the website wont save my card details.

  3. Pretzie and the bear scene alone justify watching this movie.

Just make sure you're doing something else at the same time, god forbid you give this movie your full attention for 90+ minutes. Be ironing or playing video games or something, then just turn your head for the good stuff. Pretzie's face counts as 'good stuff'.

I really hope they dive into how Zeus is basically just a really shitty and abusive dad.

A strange mix of shitty abusive + indecisive pushover.

  4. I actually posted earlier in the thread but I thought of a new thing to say which is really really funny, and I was so darn pleased with it, and by extension myself, that I just had to write a new post.

Thanks to Scott for realising his show was headed in the wrong direction and getting it finally on track, just in time for episode 351. These guys who are the guests are not mean guys and the fact that they're so smart and funny has taught me a lot, like how to present myself in a way that makes other people think "Hey isn't that guy really smart and funny and kind of a nerd, but the kind of nerd who is cool now and bullies is lame and actually he's getting all the girls because he's smart and nice?".

Man if only you could see my face, I'm grinning so hard but in a way where you can't see my teeth because that's like a skellington trying to get out.

  5. I have this method where if I don't like something that's free and that people put effort in for no pay then I just get on with my day and maybe listen to something I do like instead, because my opinion isn't that important especially when it comes to things I don't like and others do and that thing is free. The best outcome is they continue to like thing I don't like and I partake in other things that aren't the thing I don't like because either way it doesn't cost me anything.

  6. I usually hate to criticize guests on the forums, for fear that they will read it, but...

Agreed, but this guy is in the business of dehumanisation. Fuck him.

On the one hand i'm shocked PB provided a platform to this maniac. On the other, comedy can come from anywhere.

At least the forum is giving him the feedback he (and no other guest (Adam Corolla excluded)) deserves. What a force for evil he is.

Still love the show & tig & kyle & david. But i'd rather the guests had something to say other that pure humourless bile.

But again, love the show muchly and it always makes me laugh.

  7. Regarding those ads, I'm curious about Hollywood Handbook but I don't want to commit to another podcast on a whim without knowing if it's good. Do any HH fans here have some insight on that front? Is it nice? Funny? Other adjectives you'd use? Do those adjectives apply to the hosts as well?

As an HH fan I wanna give some props to Hayes and Sean.

They are nice guys and also funny and cool, so if you want to listen to a funny nice show that's cool and not done by mean guys then you should listen to it.

The episode with Shelby Fero is really nice and so is the one with Scott Anchorman and Jeff Ullrich. I like how cool the Grace Helbig episode is also and for some reason the recent episode with Kumail Nanjiani made me stop and think "Wow, these guys are not only nice and cool but they're also not mean guys and the show is funny and nice.
