Great podcast, but I disagree with your take on double jeopardy. Yes, Pistorius should be in jail. However, the government shouldn't have the power to repeatedly try an individual for the same offense. It leads to harassment and would enable the government to try the case as many times as it wishes until it gets a jury (or in South Africa's case, a judge) that decides as it wants or the individual accepts a plea. I don't think public opinion and budgetary concerns would be enough of a check on this. Imagine if Ken Kratz had that discretionary power. US justice system has plenty to criticize, but double jeopardy protection isn't one of them. Big fan, rock on guys

The rap scene also definitely holds up.

I thought the acting of the dog was unfairly criticized in this episode. The dog's resistance was in tune with the character's fear of the obvious drowning hazard of being a tiny dog in a full bubble-bath. How long can a dog tread water? Did the brother even have the canine motor skills to tread water? The teen witch was going to leave him unattended while she dealt with their parents. The brother had no idea that he would revert to human form. He thought he was going to die. I haven't seen the film in a few years, but I also don't think the teen witch knew her brother would turn human. Was the teen witch trying to murder her asshole brother? Did the cycle of abuse continue? Did the brother grow up to become this guy?

Cocktail takes place in a universe where juggling bartenders rule the social scene.
